Kyle Hishamie

Kyle walked into Tokala's room after the door was opened, patting him on the back. It was a bad habit of his to do that instead of waiting to be invited in, but Tokala and Ryun never seemed to comment on it. Kyle saw Alexis on Tokala's bed and his eyes widened in suprise. Kyle turned around and realized Tokala was in his underwear. Kyle gave him a knowing look.

"Dude....nice."Kyle gave Tokala a thumbs up.

"I originally came over here because I needed to talk with my captain of the guard. Was hoping I could fill out a report in your office, your room, my room, wherever. I actually havent really been in my room today, just to change clothes after I got back. I got the all clear sign again today and it was a brutal fight. Kinda thought we should talk about it. But I cans see your buy."

Kyle eyes Tokala, impressed by what he was carrying down under. His eyes didnt linger, he wasnt gay, but he turned back to Alexis, then back to Tokala.

"Bro did you guys do it with your clothes on?"

Tokala huffed when Kyle went into his room anyway. His eyes widened when Kyle made the wrong connections with Alexandra being in his bed. The small wounds on his chest probably did not help with that. He did listen when Kyle spoke though. He shook his head. "We can do that. I just need to pull on some pants. I can meet you in your office in a couple of minutes." he actually blushed when Kyle said the last part. He shook his head. "We didn't do anything. I'm pretty sure she wanted to talk to me but fell asleep." he stuck his tongue out at Kyle.

Kyle laughed and put his hands in his pockets.

"Sure sure, whatever man. You know its funny. Ive never seen you with any girls in the tribe before. I mean like ive seen you communicate and go out on scavenges with them but not like "with" them you know? Gotta find you a mate, mate."

Kyle laughed at his own little joke and started to head out the door.

"Cmon lets go back to my place buddy."

Tokala rolled his eyes. "maybe I'm just sneaky and have managed to keep that a secret" he pulled on a pair of jeans and his boots then grabbed a piece of paper and a pen. He quickly wrote out a note explains where he was going for Alexandra and if she needed him he would be back soon. He left the note near the bed and looked over at Kyle. "Okay let's go." he exited the room first and started to head toward Kyles 'place' as he put it. A part of him still wondered if he had feelings for the guy or if he was just jealous of the attention that Ranna was getting from his friend. Emotions were confusing...especially as his thoughts wandered to Alexandra and how she fought....how she slept. He shook his head briefly. Enough of that for now.

Kyle walked back with Tokala to his room, getting knowing looks from the guards. Kyle sighed at this, knowing they were probably talking about how Ranna left after he did, and came sooner with his extra clothes on. Kyle and Tokala walked into the main office buidling, then walked into his room. Kyle sat at his desk but sat in his chair facing Tokala.

Alexandra woke up soon after they left. She was surprised that she was on his bed. She probably felt asleep while waiting for Tokala. Damn. That didn't look good. A woman inside a guy's room with the door closed ? Oh' well. She didn't care much. She just hoped Kyle didn't saw her but then again she changed her mind quickly , Kyle rejected her and Ranna took his eyes completely by the looks of it. It was not Kyle's place to say what she does in her free time.

She soon saw the note that Tokala left her. " Bah. He left already. I need to find him , fast. Before Kyle finds him and Tokala tells him about my power. I got it back but...Kyle will be angry for not telling him " she muttered. She teleported back to her room and exited it. People shouldn't get any ideas...yet. She asked the guards if they saw Tokala anywhere and they told her they saw him with Kyle and went to Kyle's office ( Author Note : Kyle has an office or a room or a room that acts as his office too ? I can't seem to remember ) . She had to act fast. She couldn't let Tokala say anything. So , she teleported to Kyle's office.
They were both there.
" Good morning both of you ! Sorry for...barging in as I did. I know I should've knocked on the door. Kyle , do you mind if I talk with Tokala , alone , for a few seconds ? I need to tell him something fast and then I'll leave you too at it. I have something to attend to after that. It's pretty important. " she put an emphasis on the last word.

Kyles faced turned into a serious embodiment of anger.

"Why yes Alexandra I do mind. And arent you suppose to be with the librarian as part of your punishment for disobeying my direct orders? For nearly dying on m-..on every one in the tribe?"

Kyle crossed his arms.

"Good to see your back to mostly full strength. Will sure help Mark out."

Kyle turned to his desk and started writing out what happened on his most recent trip, mainly how there were so many beast nearby and how there seems to be more every day.

Kyle also noticed the jar in his. He raised his eye brow.

(Ash most apartments have a main office building, with multiple offices. one of the offices was turned into the living quarters for the tribe leader.)

" I know that. I was just going to Mark but this is really important , there are only a few words. nothing more. Please.
I forgot to tell you something , Kyle. I don't take orders. I take requests. After this week , if you want me to help Mark with the library anytime , just ask and say please and it's done. I don't do well with orders. You know that , very well.
And thanks. I heal fast. Can't use my left hand yet tho' " Alexandra put her best smile on.

Tokala sat down and glanced at the jar and then the container of seeds. He somewhat cursed himself for keep the seeds in a container so obviously stolen. He had a sheepish look on his face when Alexandra appeared. He almost grinned himself silly. Her powers were back that was good. Kyles tone caught his attention and he tilted his head. He caught that slip up...he wondered briefly if Kyle had a thing for both Ranna and Alexandra. His ears flicked and he stood. "I'm sure it'll be a quick conversation. I'll be right back" he nodded to Alexandra so she could lead him to wherever she wanted for a private conversation.

Ranna waved at the guard when he looked at her as she came in. She was carrying her other clothes wrapped around themselves in her hand. She felt so weird. She knew he realized she was wearing clothes that obviously Kyle was supposed to be wearing and it made her uneasy. Ranna headed straight to her room and opened the closet hoping there would be something she could work with in there.

Ranna found some of the clothes to be really large and others to be really small. She sighed. This was going to take some work. She pulled down a pretty blue skirt that would go down to the floor on her and it was for a woman who must be largely overweight. She threw it on the bed and rummaged through the drawers until she found some scissors. After she made the skirt into some flowy pants and with a waist her size she still had some material left over. She decided to make a top with it. She made a wrap that would tie over her shoulder. Changing into it quickly she folded up the clothes Kyle had lent her. Some of the ladies were outside and Ranna thought nothing about walking into Kyle's office. When the door was locked she took out her key and let herself in.

This caused quite a stir in the ladies outside. Ranna didn't even notice right away. She headed towards the workers with the crops. The mother with the baby was the first to approach her. She smiled and complimented her new outfit. Ranna smiled and replied, "Thank you." The mother bounced her little boy a little to keep him quiet.

"What were you doing out of the city with Kyle?" Ranna looked at her and she blushed and became quiet. The young mother smiled knowingly. "Oh don't worry, he is young and handsome after all. You aren't the first young woman to have a go at him." Ranna's jaw hit the floor. "What?!" Ranna didn't know what to say. Kyle had asked her not to say anything about 'them' or about the monsters. If she kept her promise she looked like a whore if she didn't Kyle wouldn't trust her anymore.

Ranna clenched her teeth. "None of what you are thinking is true. Now I have to get back to work." She quickly ran back to the field to help with the planting. Ranna had to wipe the tears from her eyes before they ran down her face. She focused on the work.

Kyle kept his eyes on his paperwork, refusing to look at Alexis. He wasnt sure how he felt about her, not right now. For so long he had flirted with her, only getting a cold reception back. Just recently she had made a move but it was because of Hunter making an appearance. Now Ranna was in his life and she seemed pretty intent on becoming the wife of the leader. He didnt think she was anything worse for wanting that, and he knew she was attracted to him. So it wasnt like she had ill intentions. But now that he was the leader he had to be careful. One wrong slip up.....he didnt want to think about.

Kyle swiped his hand in the air, motioning for them to get on with it. Kyle then went back to filling out his report, so that he could talk about it with Tokala when he returned.

Alexandra put a hand on Tokala's shoulder and teleported them both in her room. It wasn't too far so she didn't have to deal with the dizziness and it was private.
Her room was almost empty. A bed and a dresser that was open and it was empty and a backpack on the ground.
" First of all. I guess it's obvious. I got my powers back ! It feels good to be able to teleport again.
Second of all. What was I doing on your bed ? I know I teleported in your room to tell you that I got my powers back but I didn't want to wake you so I waited for you and felt asleep but that was on the floor. Sorry. So , how did I got to be in your bed ? And another thing. Please , please , please , don't tell Kyle I lost my powers for a day. I don't want him to know , ok ?
Just a last question and I'll teleport you back to Kyle's office , if you want. What was with that jar on the table ? I really want to know where you found that. I couldn't find anything last week like that. Only booze. A lot of it. ".

Tokala nodded to Kyle and got transported to Alexandra's room. He raised a brow at the emptiness but turned to give her his full attention. He listened to the list of questions and inhaled...thinking through the answers before he answered them. "I noticed your power is back and I'm glad. Of course I won't tell him....but if it happens again you should tell him.
You were on my bed because I couldn't exactly let you sleep on the floor now could I? That would be rude of me." he chuckled then got a sheepish look on his face. he paused hesitant to answer. "I went scavenging and brought back some items....the jar of mushrooms and....some seeds.....that...I uh...found" not really a lie since he did find them. They just had originally belonged to someone else.

Alexandra laughed when she heard the last bit.
" Tokala , you know that I spent 9 years alone on the streets and another 10 with a scavenger. How do you think I survived that long ? My charm and good looks don't save me from hunger , you know ? I stole from whoever I found. Not enough to let them die but enough to survive. So , don't worry. If you stole that jar. It's ok. Kyle won't like it tho'.
You could've left me on the floor. I slept in worse places , believe me.
I don't know if he was angry at me , you or both of us. Probably just angry at me because I didn't listened to him and got myself hurt.
Now. Do you want to go back to Kyle's ? "

Tokala exhaled and tilted his head. "The jar wasn't stolen...I found and picked those mushrooms. They aren't radiated which it good news. The seeds though" he rubbed his neck. "Those I stole. Trees are usually hardier then other crops so I thought..." he shrugged. Then his attitude went more positive when she spoke about sleeping on the floor. "You could've sure. But I didn't want you too" he gave a small smile theme nodded again. [color]"Yea lets go back. He's got some stuff to go over with me."[/color]

Alexandra smiled.

" Did you check the mushrooms to not be poisonous ? Some can kill you even if they are not radiated. Check to see if there are any red spots or dark green ones on their cap. If there are not , they won't kill you but they might make your stomach hurt bad. I don't know. Never liked mushrooms.
Thanks Tokala. I haven't slept in a bed in...years. I usually sleep on the ground and outside my room , on rooftops and such.
About those seeds. First of all. Next time , make sure you find me. I know you are fast but I can teleport. I'm a good getaway gal and make sure you don't kill anyone who doesn't need to. "

She put a hand on his shoulder and teleported them both to Kyle's room.

" There he is. Back in less than 5 minutes. Sorry for taking him from you Kyle. "
She moved towards the door but turned to Tokala and said " Tokala. Don't forget about our...arrangements for tonight. Yes ? " she winks and teleport away into the library.

As she arrived she saw all the books lined up so neatly. " Hey ! Librarian , you here ? " she shouted.

Tokala nodded and filed away the information in his mind. Most of the mushrooms didn't look or smell poisonous, but there were two in that jar that were different. (The majority are truffles. The mushroom not the chocolate. The other two are the drug version of mushrooms. Won't kill you but will make you high) he wasn't a killer either. He did night scavenging a because that meant people were sleeping. Sleeping people generally don't attack and that particular tribe had two very poor guards who had fallen asleep.

He was teleported back to Kyle and did a two finger salute to Alexandra as she teleported. He would be there to train again...she did make it sound like something else though. He shook his head and sat down. He looked at Kyle and tilted his head. "Okay what do you need" he glanced at the container of seeds but managed to look back at Kyle without looking so sheepish.

After watching those two figures fight, who he later recognized as Tokala and Alexandra, he crept silently crept back into his room to read what he could on mutations and espionage. He ended up falling alseep in his chair, surrounded by books.

Mark awoke with a start when he heard a loud shout from the other room. Groaning as he got up, he patted down his clothes and made his way towards the voice. Yawning, Mark took a look inside the main room. Inside, all by her lonesome was the Ice Queen herself, Alexandra. Crossing his arms, Mark looked at her questioningly. Had she seen him last night? Did she come here to demand that he keep his mouth shut over whatever the hell was going on between her and Tokala?

"Alexandra, what a...pleasant surprise. Can I help you with anything?", Mark said, an obviously fake smile on his face.

Kyle motioned for Tokala to come over and sit on his bed. Kyle picked up his paper and sat facing Tokala.

"Today, near about twenty to thirty minutes away from Obsidian, a horde of thirty two squealers appeared and seemed to be on a direct course for the tribe. I, Kyle Hishamie, led a one man attack on said horde, wiping them out completley."

Kyle left out the part of where Ranna followed him and assisted him. Kyle was not one hundred percent sure why, partly was maybe he did not want to admit how much she had helped. Maybe another part was how he was not suppose to have gone off by himself in the first place.

"Recieved minor wounds, nothing fatal, and headed towards the building known as Y-M-C-A. There I found a working generator, hot water, and minimal destruction of property. Could be useful to know that there was no evidence of beasts. Could be they have finally deserted the building."

Kyle flipped his papers and continued.

"This is only the latest in most recent attacks. A few days ago there was a horde of Doom Labs, and before that HellHounds. Suspicious Behavior indeed. My thoughts are something or someone is attracting the beasts somehow."

Kyle finished his report and handed his papers to Tokala.

"Thoughts?"

Tokala sat on the bed and gave his full attention to Kyle. He nodded at each pause and absorbed the information like a sponge. He took the papers when handed them and slowly read through them. He handed them back after a few silent moments and thinking on his words. "Sounds correct. Your hypothesis on the attacks could be right. However, perhaps they are becoming attracted to the large amount of scents in one area. Maybe a nest of other animals nearby." he tilted his head. "It should be looked into more." he rolled his shoulders and studied Kyle. "It isn't a good thing though...massive amounts of them."

Kyle nodded.

"It isnt. I dont understand why my grandfather and fathe rnever had problems like this. First we have what appears to be Beasts getting attracted to our tribe, then we get hit by a fireball sent by someone who wants to kill us. Could this get litterally any worse."

Kyle sighed and grabbed the items Tokala brought in.

"What are these by the way?"

Tokala got a sheepish look as soon as the items were brought up. "The jar has mushrooms. The other container is fruit tree seeds" he rubbed his neck and hoped Kyle didn't notice the seeds were stolen. He had a feeling he would be mad. Then again, seeds would help the tribe a lot so maybe it would be overlooked. He proceeded to avoid eye contact.

Kyle noticed Tokala acting strange and grinned.

"Bet you stole these huh? Damn dude, you realize one of your best friends is the Chief badass right? You didnt have to steal, just ask."

Kyle popped a mushroom in his mouth and offered Tokala one.

Tokala breathed a sigh of relief. Kyle wasn't mad...that was good. He took the other different looking mushroom and popped it in his mouth. The effects for him were almost immediate. The fur on his tail lifted up to where the skin was visible and his pupils dilated. He blinked, then blinked again. He wasn't feeling quite right.

For Kyle it took more than a few seconds for the ffects to hit him. Kyle looked around and at first all was well, but a few moments later everything became....wavy. He felt like he was underwater.

"Yea so....where...where did you....you say you got these."

Kyle tried to get up but the vertigo he felt caused him to stay in his seat, his head leaning on to his shoulder suddenly very heavy.

Tokala didn't even try to get up, he almost didn't want to. He felt all relaxed and like he would tell everything he ever learned if he was asked. He blinked. "I picked them. Thought the two weird ones would be good too but I only found two. Guess they had side effects" he swayed somewhat and looked around himself with a weird look on his face.

Kyle looked at Tokala, then tried to throw his writing utensil at Tokala, only to fail and have it drop on his lap.

"Tooooooooookaaaaaaalaaaaaaaaa, you idiot. Why did youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu get ussssssssssss this. We have not done stuff like this in soooooooooo long."

Tokala waved his body a bit and stuck his tongue out. "I totally didn't know...they smelled different" he waved a bit again. [color]andiwantedtoimpressyoubecauseithinkilikeyou"[/color] he felt slowed down but was more sped up.

Kyle could barley hear what Tokala was saying. He could almost litterally hear his heart beating. Or something at least. Kyle raised his right index finger and used his ppowers as a flashlight. Kyle shined his light at his face, the shined it at Tokala.

"Dude......like......we are all.....just dust in the wind. But this light, man, this light......it is a thing of beauty."

Tokala squinted at the light and found himself laughing. "Dude. Dude. we are so messed up right now." Almot like he couldn't control his body he felt himself inching forward until he was very close to Kyle. He found himself kissing him.

Kyle sat still, completley taken back by what his friend was doing him to him. Or thought he was, Kyle pinched his leg just to be sure he was not hallucinating. Which Kyle found out he wasnt. Kyle tried to fight off Tokala, but he could not find the strength to do so. It was not like he liked this, although he had no problems with anyone who was male and liked males. But Kyle had his eyes set on one side of the fence, and it was not his own. Never the less, Kyle was powerless to do anything.

Tokala kissed a bit longer before jerking back. He snapped out of it and snapped out of it fast. Ears back and eyes wide with realization he nearly flew out of the bed, stumbled and fell face first. There he stayed as if not wanting to stand and deal with what happened.

Kyle was locked in a trance. One of his best friends kissed him. Also while he was never attracted to males.......Kyle put a hand in his pants and smiled. He had no erection. Kyle realized that he was suprised he was glad he was not hard. Kyle took his hand out of his pants.

"So.......was that because of the mushrooms or.....how long have you felt that way?"

Tokala remained face firt on the floor. His mind racing to the point he barely heard kyle. He would have to get up. He should get up. he really really did not want to get up. Ever so slowly he stood. He did not turn around and exhaled. "Kind of a mixture........I dont know" Damn this was awkward.

"Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllll it is really sweet. But I do not like men......plus," Kyle said trying to whisper.

Kyle leaned forward and fell flat on his face. Kyle slowly cralwd over to where Tokala was.

"I kinda.........like am already sorta spoken for.....I think I proposed to Ranna that new girl."

Tokala sighed. He knew that...he did and yet his body went for it anyway. Damn body. He flicked his ears as he heard kyle fall. He then looked puzzled as kyle crawled to him and blinked. Ranna...the one that caused him to smack into a forcefield. Well damn. He managed to force his ears to rotate up and chuckled. It sounded somewhat hallow, but he wasnt going to be that friend that hated the signifigant other. "Nice. Though..it shouldnt be a think on that. You should know." he also liked Alexandra....so...yea screw you and your thoughts brain.

Kyle laughed and rested his head on Tokalas lap.

"Buddy buddy buddy.....she has amazing boobs dude. Like for real. And she is a great kisser. I say I think because I was joking and some stuff was said but I think she might have taken it seriously. I say joking as in....you know...i was doing my theatrical thing."

Kyle coughed and looked up at Tokala.

"So are you....purely gay or....I mean ive never seen you with a women before."

Tokala looked down and rolled his eyes. "Dude you are screwed. like seriously and completly fucked" he shook his head. He then blinked at the question and snorted. "I swing both ways. which gets both awesome and weird" He gave a smile at that, bit really....most of the flings he has had were because the interested party was purely fascinated with the idea of being with a fox man.

"Whats it like, having sex as a fox man? I mean, what is it like from your perspective? I am sure most people would find it fascinating!"

Kyle decided enough was enough. Kyle sat up shakily and planted a firm kiss on Tokala's lips and held it for a few seconds, letting go and breaking the kiss.

"Ok that was my apology, for not noticing it sooner buddy. I know how hard it must be, to be friends with someone as hot as me and not be bale to have me. So tonight you can have that little kiss to do with however you please."

Tokala shrugged. "I mean i have all the same parts...just...a tail. so its basically normal" he shrugged again. "I think most of the time they expect more craziness because of the whole animal thing" he looked up deciding that was enough of that answer. His focus was pulled back to kyle as he stood and was taken off guard when he got kissed. A blush spread on his face and he blinked several times. He opened his mouth to say something witty...or sarcastic...or something...but couldnt manage to get words out.

Kyle laugehd and fell on his ass, grinning widely.

"SO i mean besides me, who else do you like? What about Mackenzie, that blonde farmer? Slightly muscular, amazing tan. Or what about Susan, the clothes washer? She is pretty cute with an awesome rack! Or is it men that you like in particular?"

Kyle sighed.

"I dont know man. I mean did you know Alexis kissed me dude? Then she tried to sleep with me. I tell you trying to not fuck until marriage now that I am leader is harder than ever. But Ranna.....she is slightly easier to be around. She can be bossy, but never tries to hide her emtions not like Alexis. Alexis though...we have known each other for a lot longer time."

Tokala shook himself out of it a bit and stuck his tongue out at kyle. he then tilted his head as he listened to the list of elegible people. "I have someone in mind. Shes..different but that is what makes her amazing" his eyes then held some emotion when he heard about the kiss and the rejection. he blinked and tried not to betray how he felt about alexandra now that he was getting to know her when they train. he did manage to chuckle. "You are royally screwed man. But, i think the woman who makes you happier is the one you should try to be with. And that sounds like...Ranna" at least thats what he hoped kyle was thinking.

Kyle completley missed Tokala's sublte hint. Kyle shrugged and sat up.

"Maybe.....and of course I am pissed at Alexis right now. She fucking disobyed my direct order, nearly died in the process, probably never even went to work with Mark the librarian, and if she did she was probably late/ But when she almost died....I dont know man I felt something. I dont want her to die man.....she has this fire in her you know. That give em hell attitude that no one can stand up to."

Tokala watched kyle stand and followed suit. He tilted his head and whispered. "Yea i do" he shrugged and crossed his arms. "She is certainly a handful. If you want I can keep more of an eye on her. Make sure she doesnt do anything dumb" mental face palm because he made that very obvious.

Kyle slapped Tokala's shoulder.

"That is GREAT idea man. Listen as Tribe cheiftan I order you to follow Alexis. You are to stay by her side and keep her out of trouble and following her punishment. You are to stay on her like a hawk man. No letting her out of your sight for even a second. Dude bro you are captain of my guard, I give you full authority of her person."

Kyle shook his head, trying to clear it but the mushrooms were too strong. He would be fine in an hour since his system dealt with this stuff better than regular peoples systems do. In fact all super powered people shared this trait. But Kyle ended up falling in his seat.

Tokala blinked as he got a slap on the shoulder. Not what he was fully expecting, he was expecting kyle to figure it out and have a mess with each other feast, but this works. He felt his mouth twitch into a smile as kyle went along with the idea and put him in charge of alexandra's person. She would probably hate this. He would probably not survive the experience, but it would certainly be interesting. He nodded. "You got it"
He watched kyle fall into his seat and chuckled. He helped kyle back up and nudged him into his bed. "You need a nap. Take one."

Kyle did not even try to fight it. Kyle muttered one "Thanks bro" to Tokala and passed out, not to wake up for another hour.
