Welcome to the town of Cresent Peak, a quite large mining town. You are enrolled in the local highschool, Cresent High.
The school is rated one of the best schools in the local area, most kids who grew up in Cresent Peaks go to Cresent High. The town is quite big for a country town, it has many different restaurants, fast food places and one large shopping center with pretty much all the essential stores plus a few specialty stores. The town has a bowling alley, cinema and an arcade, a few miles to the east is Blue shores, a small beach town perfect for small getaways, or to just have a day at the beach.
You are a student at Cresent High, in your Junior year.
PLOT
It's the first day of Junior year at Cresent High. Are you excited, nervous? or ready to start another year at school? There isn't a specific plot, but events will happen throughout the year, like Junior Prom, sports days, tests and the like. Typical Teenage antics.

This is a slice of life roleplay, so obviously no fantasy or sci-fi elements.
You will have to create your own timetable for your classes, you are not limited to the classes you want your character to have.
You can be a new student to Cresent High
Romance is allowed between characters or NPC's, your teens, have fun (Just keep the "detailed" stuff to Private)
Everything in town is usually shut by 9pm
You are allowed to create other characters like students, teachers and family members but no main characters
Remember you are a teen you need money, apply for jobs or have your parents give you money

Biography: Jack Carver moved to Cresent peak four years ago, due to his father getting a management position at the mining company in town. He has been at Cresent High since the start of Freshman year. So far Jack has gotten consistent high passes in all his classes, and is the captain of the baseball team. He plans on becoming a detective after school, following in his late mothers footsteps. She died during a case where a shootout happened and she took a bullet to the chest. He was a bit broken after this but it never stopped him from achieving what he wants to do. Jack works at the local bowling alley as a casual employee, but over the school breaks he does work experience at the local police precinct. Jack has a younger sister who is only in her first year at Elementary school. Personality: When it comes to social events such as hanging with friends and family, Jack seems to always be the happy socialite, participating in anything. While at school Jack has a tendency to disrupt classes with his stupid jokes, but he seems to always hand in things on time and a get a great grade. He is very against those who bully or tease others, and always stands up to for the little guy. Hobbies:Baseball, Gaming, working, stupid jokes and spending every spare minute with friends.
Biography: Cloe just moved to Cresent Peaks during the summer break, she has spent most of her time at home and helping her mother with her new business in town, a convenience store. She has no siblings and her dad is currently fighting in Iraq. Cloe was born in London England and moved to America when she was 14, so she still has an accent. Feeling nervous about her new school she dreds the first day of school... Personality: Cloe can be very shy and nervous when meeting new people, often avoiding them altogether. She can be a bit of klutz at times when shes around people she likes or finds attractive. Her goal in life is to move to New York City and work for the New York Times as a journalist. Biography: Born to a middle class Hmong American family in Cresent Peak, Riley is the middle child of six children. She has three older siblings; two of which have moved out and started families of their own. Her other older brother has been incarcerated for a few years now with about 5 years to go. She was too young to really know why he was put away, and her parents just tell her that "That is what happens when you're bad. Don't be bad!". Riley's other siblings are younger than her, and she often is stuck babysitting them while her parents work at their family owned laundromat.
Growing up in a traditional house, Riley was taught how to cook, clean, and 'tend' to the men of the house on a very early age. It wasn't until she was old enough to go to school that she realized not all family dynamics out there were just like hers. She felt a bit of rebellion to her chores and tasks because of this, but those outbursts were quickly shutdown with a stern tone and a firm hand. Riley was a good kid, kept on top of her school work and because of her fear of her parents mental and physical abuse- kept to herself for the most part.
High school brought Riley a bit more freedom and allowed her personality and true self to blossom. She kept her childhood ways in her homestead but every morning when she walked through those double doors she was able to leave those worries and thoughts behind. She made plenty of friends, and joined a few of the clubs available that interested her- letting her parents know that they were for college preparation only. Most days were built upon lies to her parents; claiming she was practicing for exams everyday while she really would be out at the mall with her friends. Things didn't add up one day when she came home with a head full of red hair instead of her natural black. That month was hell, as the lectures grew longer and the choke chain grew tighter. Riley's mother eventually accepted the change, and even allowed the girl to keep it up, but only if she began working at the laundromat every Sunday.
Personality: Riley has a very happy go lucky personality, with a tendency for the dramatic and a weight on her shoulder that doesn't seem to get lighter. At school she is the girl that you will see with a cheerful smile across her face and a pep in her step. She enjoys making people laugh, talking with anyone that approaches her and being involved with extra-curricular activities. At home however, she tends to be very meek- not raising her voice or getting in anyone's way. She likes to keep to her room besides coming out to do chores. No one from school has ever been allowed to come over to Riley's house so no one has really seen that side of the girl. She technically isn't allowed to go to other people's houses either, but she usually can convince to one of her parents that she is just staying after school to do homework or a group project. Riley could be seen as a liar because of the sort of double life she is living, but she feels it's better to just wait out her problems rather than confront them and cause more trouble for herself.

Bio: Amelia was born to her teen mother; Maria Olivia Thomas. Through her early childhood her mother was busy working and attending College. They have always had a very close knit relationship. Her mother became a Journalist which meant that they could survive better with a better income. When Amelia was 11 her Mother met her Step-Father Antonio. It was Antonio who encouraged Amelia to study Italian. Antonio was from Italy originally although he had moved away years ago. Amelia has a true interest in fashion and helps her Aunt by working in her Clothing Store. This makes her a fair amount of money too. Biography Carmen didn't originate from Crescent, rather, she was born in San Diego, and was raised in gangland New York. Up until she was 16, she was raised primarily in New York, and during that summer, her parents have split up, and with both of them being unfit to raise her with them apart, her mother sent Carmen to her aunt and uncle's house in Crescent Peak. There, she had a hard time fitting in and getting along with her aunt and uncle at first, but she is slowly, but surely, getting used to it. However, while she was at Crescent Peak, she did have a habit of skipping school and ending up detained in the Police Station quite a few times. While she is slowly coming to grips with her new reality, it would only be a matter of time before she chose her lifestyle within her new home.
Personality Carmen is quite the rebellious one. Having grown up in the bad side of New York, the "Big Rotten Apple" if anything, old habits die hard with her. Very disobedient and very impolite, she is what one would describe as one of those "troubled" children. However, she still does have a heart of gold, and those who actually treat her right actually earn her respect, and soon, her friendship. She is somewhat shy around people she has a crush on, and more often than not, some of these people would already be her friends. She's a closet bisexual, and also speaks Spanish fluently... she took Spanish for an easy A.

Biography: David grew up in Cresent Peak, with his Mom, dad, 2 little sisters and his little brother. He never seems to get on with his mom but when it comes to his dad they spend a lot of time together either taking photos of the town, fishing or just mucking about at home. When it comes to school David is an average student, average grades in everything except photography, which is always straight A's. David has had to endure a bit of bad luck when their mom's store was closed down due to the lack of bussiness but his dads photo shop always seems to be busy someway or another. David works at his dad's photo shop every few days and offers "professionally shot" photos for cheap around town. David has a family dog named Alpha.(will post picture later) Personality: David is a bit of an introvert and never really opens up to people, always keeping to himself. But when he is with friends he is a very loving person, he always wants to take pictures of their many adventures around town and out of town, always stating that pictures are a permanent way of remembering their fun together. He is however very impatient, not tolerating lateness always saying "To be late is to lose the moment!" he says alot of lines like these and can become very annoying very quickly.
