With the death of Darth Vader by Starkiller's hand, Emperor Palpatine took it upon himself to force Starkiller to replace Vader.However, Palpatine refused to grant Starkiller the title of Darth and did not consider him as his new apprentice because of his attempted treachery against Palpatine after he slew Vader.
Because of Starkiller's critical and crippling injuries from his vain attempt at escaping the Death Star, along with Master Rahm Kota and the leaders of the newly formed Rebel Alliance, Palpatine was forced to have him surgically repaired and rebuilt as Vader was.
However, Starkiller's injuries were not nearly as critical as Vader's were, only requiring him to be fitted with an implanted breathing apparatus and skin grafting, which left him scarred and terribly deformed from his previous self.

His connection with the Force was still extremely powerful, even now in his crippled state, he is far stronger and more powerful than Vader ever was.

After Starkiller's physical reconstruction, Palpatine used a combined force of physical torture and abuse as well as mental attacks and physchological punishment on Starkiller.
This left the young Sith broken, mindless, and without conscious and practically no memory at all.
He has been practically driven insane and is nothing now but an empty minded slave to Palpatine's every whim and will, obeying the Emperor without question or second thoughts.

He commands the massive armies and fleets that Vader did, and demands the same respect and fear that Vader had as well.
Though Starkiller has grown far crueler, and more merciless and hard hearted towards his lessers than Vader ever was, his pending insanity and corrupted mind and soul only worsening his wicked ways.
He inspires terror and fear into Imperials and civilians alike.

Despite Starkiller's status and power, Palpatine does not consider him to be his apprentice nor his successor, but merely his inquisitor.
Palpatine will keep Starkiller under his service and alive until he finds a new apprentice for himself, and, when he does, he will destroy Starkiller as Starkiller destroyed Vader.

Hazan Rosk is a human male Jedi Knight from the core world of Kuat.
At the dawn of the Clone Wars he was in his early twenties.
He did not partake in the battle of Geonosis, but was one of the few Jedi who remained behind at the temple, though he was ordered to do so, and was grief and anger stricken on the Jedi's return to the Temple on learning on how many Jedi fell on Geonosis.
Throughout the Clone War he fought in several major battles as a Jedi Knight, including the battles of Ryloth, Bephour, Abregado Rae, and Mambin.
Throughout the war he would constantly be recalled to the Jedi Temple for counsel and tutelage by Masters Ki-Adi-Mundi and Cin Dralig.The reason for this being that he emotionally and mentally struggled greatly throughout the war, letting his feelings and anger get the better of him in several situations, one of which on the planet of Bephour nearly cost him his life.
Hazan fought aggressively and with a burning passion, and established rather close bonds with his clone soldiers and fellow Jedi Knights, resulting in a fear of losing his friends and comrades, something the Jedi Council feared were all building blocks for him to turn to the Dark Side.
Towards the end of the war, in it's final months, the Jedi Council refused to send Hazan into anymore battles and would assign him only to simple missions, at least until he mastered his emotions and learned to calm and balance himself.

On the eve of Order 66 and the dawn of The Great Jedi Purge, Hazan was in the gardens meditating when Anakin Skywalker, now dubbed as Darth Vader, lay siege to the Jedi Temple with thousands of Clone Troopers.

Hazan fought bravely and relentlessly alongside his fellow Jedi, but it soon became clear the Temple could not be held, as Vader and his clone legion had the Jedi outnumbered ten to one.
Hazan and many other Jedi fled the Temple safely, scattering across the Galaxy.
However, before he fled, Hazan grabbed an infant from the Temple's nursery and took it away with him into hiding, hoping to raise and train the child as his own Padawan in the future years.
With him he also took numerous holo-books and Jedi holocrons as well, and a small astromech droid named J7-D12 from the Temple's main hangar.
He then fled from the Jedi Temple and Coruscant and made his way to the Outer Rim world of Thyferra, where he has been hiding out for the last seventeen years, living in the secrecy of Thyferra's thick forests in exile, all while raising, training, and teaching his Padawan with the help of his own abilities as well as from the holo-books and holocrons he seized from the Temple.

In the last seventeen years, Hazan had taught his Padawn to balance himself and calm their core, to be disciplined and level headed.He has taught them the Jedi Code, the Way of The Jedi, and all the other principles and teachings of the Order.
He has also pushed his Padawan to the max, training them everyday from dawn till dusk, everything from swordsmanship to connecting and bonding with the Force, as well as basic advanced physical fitness.

Though Hazan wishes to challenge the Empire, he knows and realizes more and more everyday this is far from reality.
The Empire is too powerful, and the Jedi Order is no more, with less than a handful of survivors.All he can do is keep the Order alive through his Padawan.

For the last year Princess Leia Organa of Alderann has secretly led the Rebel Alliance in their fight against the Empire, alongside her trusted commanders, Captain Antilles and General Madine.
Ever since her father, Senator Bail Organa, was publicly executed on Coruscant, along with the other leaders of the Rebellion, Mon Mothma and Garm Bel Iblis, Princess Leia has become more vocal against the Empire and has doubled her efforts in aiding the Alliance covertly while carrying out her duties in the Imperial Senate.

Her personal starship is the modified Correllian Corvette named the Sundered Heart, which is commanded by Captain Antilles, who would give his life to protect the Princess.

General Crix Madine is a former Imperial Army Field Officer who led a special division of elite Imperial troopers.
Due to a combination of morality and disgust with the evils and wrongdoings of the Empire, he defected from the Empire and joined the Rebel Alliance and for the last year has acted as one of Leia Organa's most trusted generals.
He originally had planned to hold off on his defection and gather as much intel and classified data to offer to his new Rebel hosts.
However, during the clutter and confusion following the death of Darth Vader and the additional reformations of the Imperial Military, Madine believed this to be his best chance at defecting from the Empire and safely escaping.
He has granted the rebellion invaluable intelligence on the Empire and many of their most classified projects and positions since his defection.
He is one of Princess Leia's most trusted commanders and he is undyingly loyal to the Alliance.

Captain Raymus Antilles is a human male from the planet of Alderann.
He is an extinguished and battle hardened veteran from the Clone Wars and has served under Bail Organa since before the war.He was fiercely loyal to the Old Republic as well as to Bail Organa and his family and to the government of Alderann.
After Bail Organa's public execution on Coruscant, Captain Antilles developed a deep and fiery hatred for the Empire and Palpatine.
He swore to serve and protect Bail's adopted daughter Leia Organa and to aid the Rebel Alliance in every way possible in toppling the Empire and freeing the galaxy.
He is devoted to his duties and is total loyal to Princess Leia, Alderann, and the Rebel Alliance.

Deimos Alkrax is a human male from the core world of Eriadu.
He was born into a family of wealthy merchants who owned a sizeable mining operation down on the planet itself as well as numerous freighters and protectorate frigates.
They were well respected across all of Eriadu and well liked.Deimos's father also held a high position in the local mining guild and was on good terms with numerous Eriadu government politicians to boot.
However, just over two years ago, the Empire sought to inform Deimos's father, Verkayto Alkrax, that his mining industry had grown too large in size to remain independent, and was to be nationalized so that the Empire could make great and total use of the vast resources gained from the mining operation.

The Alkrax families' financial backbone came from their ore mining facilities, meaning that if the Empire seized them, they would be practically peniless.

Verkayto Alkrax attempted to fight the nationalization, but or could not be stopped, and in the end he was also arrested along with losing his entire business, and was later publicly executed.
Broken, bitter, and enraged, Deimos left Eriadu forever and sought out and joined the Rebel Alliance, determined to fight the Empire and make them pay for all they have done, as well as stopping them and ending their tyranny across the Galaxy.

He is a skilled pilot, navigator, mechanic, and an excellent shot as well.He is one of the Rebel Alliance's most reliable operatives.
