Hello all! You can call me Vel and, by this thread, you can see that I'm looking for some 1x1 roleplays. A little about myself, I'm a college student and work part time. That means that, during the day, I'm a tad bit busy. I sometimes log in just to check posts but that doesn't always mean I have enough time to make a post (so if you see me online but get no response, don't worry, I see you).
Vel as a writer:
- I consider myself to be a casual to low-advanced writer with roughly five years of roleplaying experience under my belt. I like writing out my character's thoughts, the environment around them. You will never get a one-lined respone from me.
- I am fine with mature scenes, whether they're sexual or violent or just full of swear words. Because of this, I would like my partners to be over the age of 18; this just makes me feel more comfortable.
- FxF pairings are particularly what I'm craving at the moment, but I can write MxF and MxM pairings as well! I can also write as male or female characters.
- I prefer to roleplay through PMs than threads but if you feel more comfortable in threads, then that's cool with me.
- I prefer to make character sheets (just name, age and an appearance).
- Sorry, but I don't do fandoms unless I list them (since I really don't know enough).
What Vel is looking for:
- Like stated before, someone over the age of 18.
- Someone who can write a few paragraphs (not much, but something that is enough for me to make a response to). As long as you don't respond with one sentence, we're good.
- Someone who's fairly active? I'm not looking for ten responses every day but I'm looking for more than just once a week. If, for any reason, you need to drop the roleplay then please tell me!
- Please be flexible with characters! Don't just play one specific character, pull in side characters if needed.
- Be legible. Obviously mistakes happen but I need to be able to follow along with what you're writing.
- Contribute! Have fun! I don't want to have to form the whole plot (or vice versa. If you feel like you're just making the plot yourself don't be afraid to ask for input).
- Don't control my character. I understand little gesture to move the post along but don't fill out my character's responses. Also, please write in the third person. First person roleplaying makes me uncomfortable.
Onto the good stuff, which is probably what everyone went to first. Pretty much all of these pairings and plots are open to changes and to any type of pairing (FxF, MxF, MxM). Unless a spot is underlined, I'm fine with playing either role. The more * that follow something, the more interested I am.
