So, a note regarding plagiarism. (That's a scary word. That's a word that has destroyed what were, till that point, very respectable careers.)
If you do use a quote from a book you've read, or a poem by a real poet, or if you quote a TV series or anime, or if you use an idea from said sources, then you MUST cite it in your summary. For instance, I have in the past used verses from poems - and I have referenced those in detail in the Summary. Using other sources is rarely done in RPs, in my experience, but I personally enjoy it so long as it is within reason, and so long as it is made absolutely clear that the player is not attempting to pass it off as their own.
At times I have quoted a text in spirit if not in form, and still referenced it in the Summary. If you use another person's work in your post, you should let that be known out of principle.
If, on the other hand, it so happens that you are taking entire storylines from other sources and passing them off as your own, or you're taking ideas whole, or even transferring substantial portions from other fantasy worlds into this RP, then I will be tremendously disappointed and will have to take action against it. It is encouraged that you not take entire stories or storylines from other sources (e.g. TV series, movies, anime, novels etc.) as it will almost certainly bring down the overall quality of the RP. Moreover, it is boring for others, who have put in a great amount of effort into creating original characters and worlds. If you merely want to play out a, for instance, Game of Thrones fantasy, or a Naruto fantasy, or a Full Metal Alchemist fantasy, then you can join a GoT or Naruto or FMA RP.
Divinus is meant to be as original as is reasonable (taking into account that near everything has been done before), and it isn't acceptable to transfer whole storylines from external sources, or to build the entirety of your character on stolen concepts and ideas.
Reference everything you do copy in the Summary, and keep everything as original as you can.
