While the world goes about it's time, there are thousands of people from various different lives. Students, children, mothers, fathers, elders, poor and rich, anyone can enjoy the simple creativity of creating a life. A person of your image, that you, no matter who you are, control. You control their likes, their love, their fear and joy. You hold their very lives in your hands and can make them great, cause them to fall, or snuff them out before they could even taste what they could become.
And isn't that what we always enjoyed?

Playing the role of god once more. Creating life from nothing, their names and faces becoming are real in your mind as air itself. Only for the power to go out, only for a fraction of a second. The person you created, your life, your child stands before you. A horrid look etched into their features that you did not put there as they hold a object in their hand, the text changing along with your thoughts, each idea even worse than the last.

The Creation:
You have just woken up in a dark room, no features, four walls, a floor and ceiling, nothing more. All you know is that you hold an object in your hands. The text changing in a script like manner. And the more you read, the more you realize that it is a plan for you. Your life has already been planned out, and as you go further you are forced to stop at the large red lettering spelling, 'Dead End'
What will you do? Will you quietly go about and follow the rules that have been laid out for you until you meet a terrible fate? Or will you try and change the path that has been made for you? Will you fight the very creator that gave you life? The only way to do that is to keep going forward and somehow outsmart the very god that rules your world.

The Creator:
Congratulations on your new character. What will you do with him or her? Will you make the life of your creation simple? A cushy life with easy trials and a happy ending? Or are you in the mood for entertainment? To play the role of god for such a small life and force them through unspeakable horrors?
However you will not be writing out the life of the character you created. The rules are very simple, I will send you the life of another player's character that was chosen at random. You get to write their story and their trials, when you have ideas of challenges they must face you will then PM me and I will write out the idea here. Never give the name of the character who's life you control. If you don't think you are able to create story lines, than this is not for you.

Rules:
1: No god modding:
I know right, it sound funny with this scenario. But you play god through PMs. Do not, and I repeat, DO NOT try to control the character you were assigned. The one you made is the one you control.

2: Ideas stay in PM:
When you give me an idea for a challenge that you want the character your in charge of to go through. You PM me, do not put it in any tab here, do not send it to another player, do not mention it in a chat. If I find out there is a cheater here, than I will shut this entire thing down cause realizing who is writing for who will ruin this.

3: You can die:
Yes, you can die. No one here is immortal, if you can't figure out how to outsmart a challenge, then there is a chance of death. If you guys are too attached to this when a character dies, than I may let you make a new one.

4: Do not make a challenge impossible:
You were given the role of god, but don't be mean about it. Don't say that hell itself opens up under the character and swallows them whole before they can do anything. That's not fun for anyone, its rude.

5: Be polite:
We are here to have a RP and do some crazy shit. So please be respectful cause we are all friends here. If you have a problem with someone that needs addressing, please PM me.

6: Posting:
Please post at the very least, once a week. If you are unable to do that than this is not for you. I do understand that real life gets in the way, but if that happens than tell us so we are not left waiting.

7: Have fun:
This is a story that is going to change outside of my control. Make friends, foes, relationships to last or fail. Try and find a new way of playing and break the rules of the IC game even. Remember this is all about going against your own creator, anything can happen.



This is not a first come first serve. I'm thinking of only 4 spots but if there are too many interested than I will bump it up to 6 players. Have fun with creating your player, don't make this just an after thought.

@CloseEnough conceptualizing a character now. I want put in a photo of my character's appearance and I have to ask about what you prefer. Do you prefer a real picture or an anime/cartoon-ish one?

And of course, posting here so that I can reserve a spot in this roleplay. ^_^

Just to clarify... @CloseEnough this is modern so no fantasy races like elves or drows or dwarves?

Right, this is the first time doing a project like this so we're keeping it modern. You can have this person have any profession, history, skills ect. So long as a human can do it, there is no limits for history as well cause the idea is the characters were all made for different RPs but than something went wrong during their build and are now aware of you.

If this goes well I'll make another allowing different species but for now we're gonna keep it simple.

Yup. I'm guilty for not posting my character yet. I'm kinda leaning towards fantasy at the moment and still need a bit of time to flesh out a modern type of character.

thats probably why everyone left. I may have to change the rules to keep everyone interested....Damn i need some feedback from the other players.

It's easier to create fantasy characters and write challenging, dangerous plots for them in a fantasy setting. Well, at least in my opinion.

Two, you shouldn't have limited it to only the modern world. This setting doesn't really work in that sense as it limits both the characters and the story writers Drastically. Every single idea and plan I had went out the window when you said that. Same for my character. As for simplifying it... Why? You don't have to remember the different worlds, the biggest problem with letting everyone create their own setting is that each player would have to track two settings. That's like playing in two different RPs. How many people on this site stick to only two RPs? Not only that, but everyone having different settings would actually make it harder for you to mix them up.

This is what made me hesitate. I like the basic idea but... I like it because I was should have been able to create my own universe and mess with someone else’s, while having someone mess with mine.

This is your guy's RP just as much as mine, cause honestly it wouldn't be going anywhere without you guys. Again, if you had a concern I would have listened cause I'm not a dictator over this, I'm the mediator as I watch everything unfold around this place. So why not, lets have Fantasy in here so you guys can go crazy.

Yup, I was thinking along the lines of Kingdom Hearts. The characters all converge in Traverse Town because their worlds have been erased. Of course, this rp would have our characters maybe not remembering where they came from? At least, that's the general plot I'll be using for my character.

@CloseEnough Sorry for not speaking out sooner. I was actually waiting for the others to post their characters so that I'll have an idea how to go about it.

They would have a basic history of remembrance. Just like how RPs start out, your character is usually a semi foggy slate. It's not 100% blank, you have an idea of where that character wants to go and thus made a few lines for their past to go off of.

I was trying to have that be open to you guys as too how much your character would remember and see if it can reflect on their current situation. Would it be a assassin who is confused and wondering why he is no longer in his slum city apartment? Or would it be a student who has knowledge of subjects but no idea where they got said knowledge?
Or even, as you said. Would it be like Kingdom hearts and be a lifeless doll like Roxas was and needs to wake up bit by bit? So long as they are not given a keen advantage, like seeing the creator's next move, than the choice is up to you.

And I'm just glad we're fixing things up and stepping in on the same RP.

@CloseEnough This is the character I plan on using. Before I add a little bit more to the CS, I'd like to see what you think of her. Will she fit into the roleplay or should I scrap her and make another one?

The character already seems to have a lot of thought put into her. So using her could be interesting. Though I would have to say you are tipping a little in a overused topic. Half demon royalty that enjoys being human and fears to change into their demon self, is easily the most common route for that mix.

May I suggest you add a little something different? And an interesting hobby that one would not suspect or a characteristic that is not always associated with demonic royalty, making her branch out would add more life to her, I'm sure she will be much better when you add more detail but as it stands right now she sort of blends with a ton of other popular stories.
