“I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones" was a quote said by the late Albert Einstein. While he was right about many things, he would be wrong about this. We as a human race survived World War Three without a wide scale nuclear holocaust, as the threat of the apocalypse saved the world. While this would keep the planet alive, it doesn't mean the death toll would be minimized. World War 3 would be the deadliest war in human history, and this would be caused by some of the new weapons introduced. Orbital Rods (Also Called Rods of God) would see their first use in combat, and would become one of the most effective weapons of the war. The introduction of new forms of chemical warfare would kill millions of people across the planet, mostly effecting Asia. New scientifically modified diseases would start popping up around the planet, making the threat of a plague like none ever seen exist. The war would change the planet in a way not seen since the end of the Cold War, the East vs West rivalry would die off, and no true "Superpower" would be left on earth. The planet is now weakened but it is also poised to be conquered by those who are ready to fill the shoes of the United States, will the earth enter a new era of prosperity, or will it not survive the decade?
