You ever have the weird moment when your thinking about life and your all like:

What if we are all just germs, living on concrete or on/in someone's body?

Or what if we are all just in a giant simulation and when we die we wake up as aliens who just took a 50 minute Science class.

I was going to say that was just Ilunabar being paranoid but this response made me unsure.

Time to invest in more bunkers.

>Teknall nabs the Bunkers Portfolio before you can and undermines your defences.

In all seriousness, though, Teknall has no intention of leading mortals to usurp the divinity, and as a player that isn't my plan either (not yet, anyway). That statement just resonated with me because it is something which he might accidentally do, over a few millennia of pushing technological development and scientific thought.

Also, more comments on the Cosmic Knights post:
Vestec looked at the ship with the air of a giddy child. "I'm getting one."

This is also Teknall's response to Father Dominus, should he see it.

The goddess shrugged "The need to become real is something that ranges from the lofty dreams to the creeping nightmares, so it is natural that with such a large connection, the flow will turn toward reality."

"But, there is no need to worry. I'm keeping everything in check, as long as I am fine the barriers will be fine."

Lifprasil nodded, the powerful flow of encapsulating energy pulsating, writhing in a line before him. "I see - and what if this barrier was broken? Would the immaterial become reality?" asked he, reaching out to touch the literal stuff of dreams.

"It would certainly bothersome." she smiled "To just thin the line between the real and unreal like that, to let gargantuan amounts of things that are not into the world that is. I think it would be a major hindrance for just about anyone and would surely get me on Fate's bad side, but then again, if I were to surely die, why would I even care."

"One last thing, Lifprasil," said Dabbles softly. "Logos... Did not restrain himself to simply razing my work. There is a garden of life, a deadly Sea Beneath the Sea, which some call the Gap. It is mine. I have protected it for long years, and protected Galbar from it. It used to be that I did that just by monitoring it for intrusion." He looked at the Emperor. "...Recently that's changed. My role as the Bastion has taken on a more literal meaning. If Galbar is consumed by the Other, know that it was Logos who destroyed me."

This post as revealed not one but two reality-destroying events waiting to happen should particular goddesses be destroyed. To compound the issue, both of those goddesses are on Logos' hit list.

If a massive tear into the Gap does open and threaten to swallow Galbar, do please let Teknall know (provided he hasn't been shanked by Logos beforehand). Teknall designed the barriers to seal away the Gap. He is thus the most qualified member of the divinity to repair them.

"No god cannot be killed, Aunt of Flesh, in my lands I hold the power that the God of Time left behind, something you wrote, and I read myself. In my charge, I now hold the Codex of Creation, accommodated in the form of a girl," gently spoke the immortal Emperor of Alefpria.

@Kho, now that the GodKiller is in a known location, I should ask a couple of questions about it, mainly concerning how a member of the pantheon would perceive it.

Say Teknall goes to Alefpriel. His god-sense is more than adequate to observe every single person and object in the city and beyond. Tira and the GodKiller are definitely within this radius. Would he see the GodKiller, or is that hidden to his god-sense? Would he see Tira, or is she hidden too? If so, is this an obvious hole in his perception, or is it something he might only notice with detailed inspection, or is it completely undetectable?

Furthermore, say Teknall goes walking around Alefpriel, and happens to pass by Tira. How close would he have to get to start suffering the passive detrimental effects of the GodKiller?

You said it, Lauder.

Now, let's get back to our collaborative story where we test the role of deities in a world of their creation and challenge the idea of godhood through the lens of our real-world mortal limitations, coming to realisations about the nature of man, faith, and waifus.

@BBeast

Gods cannot use their god-sense to determine where the God-Killer is, and the God-Killer has to actually touch a god for it to harm/kill them, however, a god would be justified to feel a sense of unease, or discomfort when the item is near them.

Teknall can ask Lif to check out Father Dominus, btw, or the Cosmic Knights, so long as he contributes something to Alefpria. (Maybe his own academic occult of technology to better research ArkSynth, alongside the Academies of the Jvanic, Astartian, and the Ilunabarian phantasm.)

Oh no. Don't try to shimmy out of it like that.

Teknall, Toun, and everyone else who had their hands in early stages of the design left those gaps there before Jvan and Vowzra gummed them up with gribblies. If anyone feverishly tried to make up for that pollution, it was Toun. Hell, the shards that broke off his eye are what helped Jvan to control the place to a small degree. He's on speed dial for this crap.

I swear, the Toun-Teknall partnership is prospecting more to be the insurance policy of macro-reality more and more by the month.

Also, a larger preview for the Cosmic Knights. Working on a small post called the Test to kind of kick off/show off Galbar's own super soldiers.

@BBeast I have left the Godkiller's development and way it functions in poog's hands. A weighty responsibility for poog, but I trust he's up to it. And I'm sure we'll all do a collective slap down if he gets all giddy xP

@BBeast I believe Ilunabar would be somewhat preoccupied should the things that will only happen if she dies start to happen.

Ah wait, you are already considering us dead there, that is just cold.

Though it would be hilarious if Logos did "win the game" by killing Jvan, Ilunabar and Teknall (you ain't escaping boyo) and therefore ruining everything.

Maybe that is what is why he is still stuck in resets despite always "winning"

Teknall began writing and amending, softening the impact of Chaos in the Universal Plan. While he could not, and would not, remove the works of other gods from the plan, he could refine them and give them structure.
...
Jvan's aberrations were a definite blemish to those who desired perfect Order in the Universe, but these creatures came with the solution to their own problem. These otherworldly beings would stay otherworldly, unable to breach through the fabric of reality on their own, imprisoning them and keeping the Universe safe from their influence. It would require an effort from within the Universe to soften the walls such that they could get through.

Teknall explicitly designed the barriers which stopped things in the Gap from getting into the rest of the Universe.
