Koen
Koen pressed up against a tall broad tree, his reddish brown eyes glared at the Hunter Nil. His eyes following the hunter’s jittery movements as Koen curses at himself quietly. How could he be so stupid to be caught so easily by this hunter. He should of moved instead of stay around for an extra night in the same area, thinking that he had time to relax and rest, but oh, how he was wrong about that.
He didn't dare make a sudden move for the hunter’s jerky movements could lead to unwanted consequences. The hunter already fire multiple shots before Koen surrender. Each shot closer than the next, until surrender was the only logic answer from being injured or worse, dead. His hands bounded by what could only be a rope, so his movement was limited anyways. Not to mention the Sun was up which meant he had been up the whole night. Exhaustion overtook any other emotions of anger and anguish, making him obediently keep still.
The hunter’s choice weapon, a shotgun, pointing straight at Koen’s chest just daring him to move.
Nil, the hunter, was radioing in his most recent capture. Cockiness and excessive pride was clear in the man’s voice as he exaggerates a tale of Bat Boy’s capture
Toyosi
Darkness. Even with her eyes wide open that was the only thing she could see. The heavy sack over her head shielded any light that leaked into the back of the truck. It was mostly silent but for the ragged or rapid breathing of the other people. The heat was unbearable, her forehead was laced with sweat and her hands clammy with perspiration. The zip ties that kept her hands confined and together digged into her wrist. Her sweaty hands held uncomfortable on top of her lap. Either side of her was squished from other heated and sweaty people crammed close together which eased the rough ride but also cause a slight feeling of claustrophobia to wash over her.
When the truck did finally abruptly stop, causing the new morphs to lurch into the person next to them, the back hatch opens up. A harsh light shine between the threads of the sack. “Get up and Move it.” A voice boomed, who ever it was forcefully got the people moving either by grabbing them and shoving one way or a hit in the back to get the person moving. Anyone who tried to rebel was swiftly beaten with the butt of a rifle and shoved along.
Toyosi held her breath, moving along closely to the person in front of her. Her feet shuffling across the truck bed’s floor. Once out of the truck, she was kicked in the back of her knees causing her to fall to the ground. She could hear others going through the same thing as they are being lined up
