Brief Background: J.B. grew up near Arlington, Virginia. His family's military roots could be traced back almost to the Civil War. Wanting to keep up the tradition, he enlisted at 18 and spent the next several years climbing up through the ranks of the Marines. He was Command's first choice for the lead operator of Task Force 0, and accepted the posting immediately.
Brief Background: Hailing from Atlantic Canada, Adam never would have imagined his life to go quite like this. Having no idea of what path to follow as he headed out into the world, he followed a friend of his into the armed forces. 5 years ago he was removed from his unit for reasons unknown, and the next time he was heard from was when he arrived at the briefing for Task Force Zero.
Name: Taylor Cooperfield. (usually referred to as just Tay.)
Age/Gender: 27, female.
Nationality: British.
Appearance: Taylor is five foot six inches, but she has a stocky, muscular build. Her face is round-ish and smooth. Her skin is lightly tanned, hair is dark brown and eyes are light blue. Taylor's eyes are fairly large and set moderately apart and have long black eyelashes. Taylor's nose is fairly pointed and medium sized and her lips are medium and Taylor's mouth is small. Her expression is usually one of seriousness when doing her job, but she often has a mischievous or cheerful look about her when in a more casual situation. Her clothes include the ordinary camouflage military garb, but also including black gloves and boots. Overall she has a sturdy body and a feminine face with softer features.
Rank: Private (Specifically guardsman.)
Preferred Role: Bodyguard is her most preferred, but sniper, offensive infiltrator, or frontline trooper work for her as well.
Brief Background: Taylor originally grew up in London but her family moved to Leeds when she was 20 years old. There she learned of the threats to the allied nations. Although throughout her life she wasn't necessarily an unusually violent person, Taylor did have a knack for hand-to-hand combat and wasn't afraid to get into a fight if she felt threatened. And in high school she practiced martial arts. Used to strict discipline and tests, she was fully willing to take on the responsibility of joining the military forces in hopes of helping to defend the allied nations from the cruel threats of terrorist organizations. She joined the marines at the age of 21, and spent a large amount of time training in firearms, stealth, survival, cooperation and teamwork, and more. Now at the age of 27, Taylor is embarking on her way to the area where she and her comrades will be informed on their new orders. She's still relatively low rank (private, aka Guardsman) as shes been in only a few missions, but from her extra training (phases 1 & 2) Taylor is hardly an incapable soldier as she is skilled in a variety of different combat styles.
Notes: Despite being in a war, when not currently in or about to be in a mission, Taylor has a playful and mischievous side to her personality that normally doesn't show. She is a strong, brave, and loyal soldier on the outside. But on the inside, Taylor is paranoid of failure. Not just herself, but the thought of letting down her comrades and putting them in worse danger. Because of this Taylor has problems with Insomnia just before missions sometimes.
This is my first character sheet on this site. I hope it suffices. I wasn't intending it to be this long, but I didn't want to leave anything out.
Preferred Role: Rogue Commander Sigma. He's a man of many talents, team-work is one of them to be sure but since his inauguration he stood alone. He prefers to have that AWOL feel for his special skills. Hence he joins teams so if they need somebody to be a personal grim reaper he's the man for the job. "Being a lone wolf has its advantages." Is his motto.
Brief Background: Mandatory to join the Polish Armed Forces at the age of 18. He made it his career. Joined Special Forces at 23. Notes: (Any added info that doesn't fit elsewhere)
"9/10 people enjoy throwing live grenades into a tank."
Name: Gwenyth Julianna, but goes by Gwen in most situations.
Callsign: Breach
Age/Gender: 21 / Female
Nationality: Born in Italy, but became an American citizen at a young age.
Appearance: Gwen is a small woman, standing at only a meager 4'11. She does not seem to have much physical endurance due to her rather scrawny frame, but she is capable of using heavier weapons in combat. She has a rather plain looking face, nothing too notable about it, aside from her hair having a few dyed streaks of lavender along the front of her chocolate-colored bobbed cut. She has the legs of a running champion, and the physique to match that. Lastly, she is a rather small-chested woman, but that doesn't seem to phase her if brought up in typical scenarios.
Rank: Private First Class
Preferred Role: Grenadier or Infiltration
Brief Background: "I feel like it would just be simpler for me to explain my history. Nobody knows you better than yourself after all. When I was a little girl, my mother died during childbirth, which was rather tragic for me to grow up without a mother in my life, but later my father wanted me to move with him to New York, and I had no choice so I left. He wanted to go because he fell in love with an immigrant from America, staying in Italia for a year because she had family there. "Within the first 6 years of my life, I had moved from Venezia to Buffalo, which was a very difficult transition because I had to learn another language very early. I went through a homeschool up until high school. I decided I wanted to join the military after school because of all those dannazione perks. Once I actually started thinking about what I would do in the military, I had no idea what to do. Eventually, I did get into the military, and I happened to test out a few different kinds of weapons, and once I tried the sweetness and savor of a grenade launcher, I was set on it. I loved the explosions and I immediately went to the front lines of war with a grenade launcher. I performed well, eventually scaling to the 2nd best soldier in my squad, behind the captain of it, obviously. My captain informed me of this new group of Task Force ZERO, and I was very interested. I felt like they could probably use my expertise in breaching and exploding what is needed. Somehow, I got accepted, and here we are now."
Notes:
An XM25-CDTE Issue Grenade Launcher as a main weapon, complete with a peace symbol painted onto it in purple, and a lot of extra grenades. An Uzi with a few spare clips on her. A Combat Knife, good for cutting people and stabbing. Bulletproof vest and leggings. Protection is always welcome. A box of fruit snacks.
Oh, and she's bisexual leaning towards homosexuality.
Callsign: Dash (Refers to Morse Code) Age/Gender: 35 or 36/Male (DOB: 15 AUG 80) Nationality: American Rank: Operator Preferred Role: Light Weapons Operator "Gun Guy"
Brief Background:
Tyus Morse is of African descent growing up in Central Falls, RI; one of the Ocean State's high crime/economically deprived neighborhoods. Tyus' father was heavily into Martial arts, enrolling his son at an early age. Tyus received a Junior Black Belt at age 11 after four years of training and then his first degree black belt in Kempo Karate at age 14. As a teen, Tyus was able to move into the Teen Krav Maga program where he trained on the Israeli Self-Defense form, borrowing techniques from Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and Taekwondo. By age 17, Tyus had his second degree black belt with training in both Kempo Karate and Krav Maga. Since, his father was seriously interested in Martial arts as well, the father and son worked out frequently together, helping to hone Tyus' skills.
Tyus was not an exceptional student in school receiving average grades, but also learning how to speak German in the process. He spent most of his High School years playing soccer in the fall and running with the track team in the spring. He excelled in athletic pursuits.
After High School, Tyus enlisted in the United States Army attending Basic Combat & Infantry Training at Ft. Benning, GA. Upon completion of the 14-week Infantry Course, he proceeded to Airborne and Ranger Schools, both at Ft. Benning. In 1999, after successfully completing training requirements as an Airborne Ranger, Private (E2) Morse was assigned to the 2nd Ranger Battalion at Joint Base Lewis-McChord about five miles south of Tacoma, WA.
By October, 2001, Private First Class (E3) Tyus Morse was reassigned to A Company, First Battalion, 27th Infantry (1-27 IN), 25th Infantry Division at Schofield Barracks, HI. On 1 January 2002, Tyus Morse was promoted to Sergeant (E5) and assigned as an Infantry Team Leader with C Co., 1-27 IN. By August, he re-enlisted for another four years and submitted a request for Special Forces Training.
In January 2003, Sergeant Morse arrived at the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center (JFK-SWC) in order to enter the selection process for the Special Forces Qualification Course. The course lasted one year and three months for Sergeant Morse. At its conclusion, he received the 18B Special Operations Weapons Sergeant MOS. He also received classroom instruction in the Arabic language.
In April 2004, Sergeant Morse was assigned to Operational Detachment Alpha (ODA) 5235, C Co., 2nd Battalion 5th Special Forces Group (2-5 SFG), Ft. Campbell, KY. While with 5th Group, Sergeant Morse deployed to the Middle East at least a dozen times between 2004 and 2008. During this time, he was promoted to Staff Sergeant (SSG) and engaged the enemy no fewer than forty-three separate engagements. During this time, he received several minor injuries and was hospitalized for a brief stint in 2006 for a gunshot wound (GSW) to the right thigh. Also as a member of the Special Forces community, Tyus was able to continue training in Krav Maga. This is the martial art/self defense form used by all US Special Operations units.
In 2008, after ten years in the US Army, Staff Sergeant Morse requested training and assignment to the 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta. He was recruited and indoctrinated into the dark underworld of a unit that is informally referred to as Delta Force. As a Delta operator, SSG Morse was deployed to many locations around the world. He received training in speaking Russian, Farsi and Polish while serving with Delta. He has engaged the enemy in numerous hostile actions and received additional wounds forcing him to receive hospital care.
In 2014, Tyus Morse retired from the Army as a Sergeant First Class (E7) with sixteen years time in service in order to pursue a career as a Private Military Contractor. He applied for and was accepted to Task Force ZERO.

Name: Romek Czerepusko
Callsign: Scooter Age/Gender: 25 or 26 (DOB: 5 October 1990) Nationality: Polish Rank: Operator Preferred Role: Long Range Reconnaissance (LRR)/Support By Fire (SBF) Appearance: Romek stands about 5' 10" tall and weighs 169 Lbs. He has fair skin and light blondish colored hair and blue eyes. He is in decent shape, appearing to be of an average build for someone his age and size. Romek sports a tattoo of the Polish Airborne insignia on his left forearm and the Polish White Eagles on his left bicep.
Brief Background:
Romek Joachim Czerepusko was born on the 5th of October 1990 in Białystok, Poland. His father, Lucjan Czerepusko has an excellent job working for the passenger rail service in Bialystok, Railways Mazowieckie. The rail company provides passenger service between Bialystok and Warsaw. Romek's father works as a conductor on the rail service making regular trips to Warsaw and back. The rail line itself continues through the Baltic States and travels as far as Helsinki, Finland.
In 2008, Romek graduated from secondary education and immediately enlisted in the Polish Army. He never wanted to go to work on the railroad like his father and envisioned a life of excitement for himself one day. Romek grew up speaking both Polish and Russian. It was quite common for the people in Eastern Poland to speak Russian as well as their native language.
After completing Basic Training, Romek attended Scout school. Due to a natural ability to shoot very well, probably due to his vision test scores resulting in him having 20/15 vision, he was recommended for sniper training. Scout school taught him everything he needed to know about observing locations and identifying Russian, American and the European made military vehicles used by their corresponding armies. Sniper school helped him to learn the science behind ballistics and meteorology as applied to engaging targets at extreme range. During Sniper school, he also had to handcraft his own camouflage suit, what those in the profession call a Ghillie Suit. The Ghillie Suit is intended to break up the outline of the sniper so that he is more difficult to locate in a blended setting.
As a trainee, Romek held the rank of Szeregowy (Basic Private). After the initial training is complete, he was promoted to Starzy Szeregowy (Private).
Upon completion of Sniper School, Romek then attended Polish Airborne School where he successfully earned his parachutist badge. From there, he was assigned to the 10th Airborne Battalion in the 6th Airborne Brigade. Romek spent the next four years in the Airborne, where he saw a deployment to the Balkans and then later to Afghanistan. While in Afghanistan, he spent most of his time working in a command bunker and never had the opportunity to engage a living target. While he was with the 10th Airborne Battalion, Romek was promoted to Kapral (Private First Class) and later to Starszy Kapral (Senior Private/Specialist)
In 2014, Romek transferred to the 18th Reconnaissance Regiment where he served in the Long Range Reconnaissance Teams assigned the Regiment's Headquarters Company. As a member of the LRRP teams, Romek spent time learning to ride Horses as well as Kawasaki Motorcycles. The teams typically were inserted by helicopter, but occasionally travel by horseback or by motorcycle. Their mission was to go deep behind enemy lines and report on strategic locations of enemy forces. Just prior to his transfer to the 18th Recon Regt Starszy Kapral Czerepusko attended a two-month NCO leadership academy which enabled his promotion to Sierżant (Sergeant).
During his time in the Polish Army, Romek chose to learn the English language. He has been studying English for six years and has a solid fluency in the language. By mid 2016, Romek chose to leave the Polish Army to pursue a career as a Private Military Contractor. He was hired recently by Task Force ZERO.

Name: Merlin "Wizard" Bastion
Gender: Male
Age: 38
Rank: Chief Warrant Officer (CW2)
Nationality/Special Forces Unit: British, Special Boat Service (SBS)
Preferred Role: 2IC, Automatic Rifleman/Grenadier
Appearance:
Taken in 2016, this photo doesn't bring out just how gravelly his face is, nor his stature, but it has a good attempt at his beard and stare. Taken on NATO SOF Exercise Beta, in Alsace, France.
Merlin is a scary motherfucker. It turns out that it hasn't faded with age, either. Because when you meet him, you understand the hype that really leads to why he has his reputation. Why he is equally feared, and equally liked. He stands at 6"6, and has a strong build, being built more for strength than agility, a mountain of an individual, yet not into the realms of freakishly strong- he's probably at the apex of where he wants to be, neither some powerlifitng loon, nor any less frightening. Rugby, swimming as well as a lifetime of hard physical work has been responsible for this, Merlin's routines being in full force. You wouldn't want to turn to see him behind you in an alley, shall we say. He can still run marathons in full operational gear, so don't assume that this has come at the cost of his stamina and endurance- this fellow still has some life in him, the same as he had over a decade ago, and has now. He has a world weary look, and has a number of scars running down the side of his face, mostly minor but observable on close observation. His distinctive beard, flowing and filling an awful lot of his face, is the easiest way to make him out apart from his general gravitas. He has dark black hair, left to go long, and dulled brown eyes. One particular feature is that he is almost wholly missing three toes on his left foot...the answer for why it's like that is a grizzly one, and a lucky one (see later). He has a tattoo of a Trident on his back, and a Serpent across his right shoulder- of a local Devonian type, with an intricate design.
Merlin is often seen with a black, blue and green patterned camouflage beanie over his head that takes his long hair (and yes, that isn't the easiest thing to describe), though of course, being an SBS operator means swimming or HALO jumps, and of course, there are times that it won't be practical. A brown shemagh, as well as a pair of worn Mechanix gloves on his hands rounds him off, as well as a pair of well worn Karrimor boots do the trick. He has sometimes got a pair of Wiley X sunglasses over his eyes, though this isn't frequent. He has a strong English West Country accent, coming from rural Devon. Or if you don't know what that is, imagine a pirate accent, though less plunder-y. Yes. I am not even joking, that is the best I can do to describe it.
Personality:
Merlin's personality is one that brings him alive, and it's one that is both respected and feared, complimenting his build- when his voice is raised at someone or something, you may want to consider earplugs, because he makes Brian Blessed sound quiet (I'll leave that to you to figure out if you don't know). He has a strong wroth when in the field of combat, and will happily take the charge and do some serious damage to an enemy. This has helped his reputation in both ways; the rumour of Merlin "repeatedly smashing the militant's skull against the desk, until internal bleeding took over and the man was left on the floor" allegedly being in written in one of his After Action Reports is one that seems to sum it up well at his most extreme. He seems to have a sense of strong authority, and can laugh with the whole team one minute and removing himself from the circle of his command.
Merlin plus cider get on well. Very well. Like his beard, cider is a core part of Merlin's life; it isn't alcoholism, but being from the West Country, the golden nectar needs to be close by in one shape or form for the good times to flow. This is before the next minute, where he can be going back to business and being switched on, cold hearted and absolutely on point with the task at hand. He leads by example, and seems to have a certain commitment to what he does- this being the practice of fucking people up, or clearing out a terrorist hideout. He doesn't like bullshit, in fact, he has a very low tolerance for it, and within his team, he does not like people who aren't willing to follow him into hell if he's going head-first.
His thuggish nature is not a dumb one, however. He is cunning enough to maximise the chaos of a situation if required through his team, or to make them clean out a number of enemy forces in dead silence, being aware of the application of chaos in the right way. He is astute, knowing how to play the mind game, or to put himself, and a fireteam, into a place to cause havoc. It's why he's a Warrant Officer, after all. His application of tech isn't as high as others in the team when it comes to deploying or using drones, but he knows what is available and how his team can use it, so he'll keep it subcontracted throughout the unit to supply him with information, be it the use of drones or their own observation in the multi-lateral HUD system utilised by the team. Merlin's moral code is fairly blurry given his intensity, but he is the type of individual to do the right thing when it counts. He seems like an individual who is not encumbered with the world on his shoulders, but knows what the stakes are, and will always know where he stands with his men. Merlin's wroth can make him sometimes short-sighted, but on the whole, he has both the wisdom and the ability to lead with example in the field.
Bad things happen if you decide to be critical of his beard. Really bad things. Apparently.
Weapon(s):
FN Minimi Para 7.62mm, Light Machine Gun -200 Round Box -EOTech XPS3 Holographic Sight -EOTech 3X Magnifier -Surefire M900 Flashlight/Vertical Foregrip -Bipod -AN/PEQ-2 IR Laser -Tan Spray
FN Herstal SCAR-H -20 Round 7.62mm mag -Fourth Gen -16"/18" Barrel (swap choice) -Trijicon TA31F ACOG 4x Optical Sight -Aimpoint Micro T-1 BRDS (Backup Red Dot Sight), side-mounted -AN/PEQ-15 Laser/Light Module (Barrel Mounted) -Surefire Mini Monster 5.56 Sound Suppressor -FN EGLM 40mm GL Platform OR VTS "Potato Peeler" Grip OR M26 MASS Shotgun System -Rifle sprayed in Grey/Tan Hexagon pattern
A hard-hitting Belgian classic, used by SOF groups across the world. With a 7.62mm cartridge and a high level of modularity and accuracy, it makes for a perfect weapon for Merlin's use when the LMG won'd do the trick. Even if the GL doesn't find use, the weapon is excellent for infiltration where a larger box-fed weapon would be impractical. The ability to work the weapon is why Merlin has so few alternatives he uses.
Fixed in Loadouts:
870P MCS -12 Gauge OO Buckshot, Capacity of Four Shells -Ghost Ring Sight -Black Paint
Perfect for making an entrance, blowing the hinges off doors, this weapon looks more likely to be found in the hands of a biker rather than an operator, with it's short barrel and lack of stock. Still, it does it's job well, and for breaching, it is compact enough to be wielded with fairly little problem, the 12 gauge still able to blow apart anyone in it's path.
-Sig Sauer P226 Mk25 -Ghost Ring Sight -12 Round Flush Magazine in .357 SIG -Osprey SIG Silencer -X300 Surefire Flashlight -Black Finish
A nice little sidearm, trusty and reliable- firing a .357 round, this thing is able to pack a serious punch, with Swiss reliability and accuracy that comes in it's usual 9mm offering scaled up. With a Ghost Ring and an Osprey silencer, it's a Merlin's best but last friend to the tap-tap with, or first when a lightweight, powerful offering is needed. It's a weapon utilised by all branches of the British Armed Forces and numerous other special forces groups, so this thing is as good as gold, though the caliber is a demand that Merlin has. All the stories of a Glock having a cooler, more modern and fast firing look are rubbish to Merlin. This is his baby.
Light Anti-Tank/PDWs can also be used for mission-specific incidences, examples being:
-Bofors AT4 CS -Bofors Carl Gustav M3 -Heckler and Koch MP7A2 Vickers Tactical -Heckler and Koch MP5SD6
Merlin Robert Bastion was born in 1984 in Honiton, Devon (England), to a schoolteacher mother, and a Major for a father, James, serving in the Royal Marines. So it was clear that when Merlin grew up, there was going to be a clear influence on where he'd go. He was a burly lad in his youth, and he did well in school, finding his subjects challenging, but not difficult- passing with moderate grades. He was a member of the Rugby and Swimming Clubs in his town, as well as the Cadets- just waiting till he finished school to go join the lads in the forces.
Joining the Royal Marines Commando, like his father, he found the lifestyle perfect from reservist work from 16 following onto full service from 18. It was being with the lads, killing Taliban, wearing the Green Beret that made him know he was doing things right. The Royal Marines Commando gave him the chance to specialise and get involved in semi-SOF operations, such as the nature of their tours in Afghanistan. He spent four tours of duty in Afghanistan and Iraq, and was promoted to Sergeant by the age of 25. He led a squad-sized element, and proved to be adept at both employing an anger and a command that would be expected of a Marine, picking up valuable skills in the tools of the trade. He was not exemplary, and had gone through at least one Beasting in his service. But he was respected by his friends, and he did a good job. He wasn't half-assed, he was not a soldier here by conscription or pressure even from his dad. He was here, because he found it was a good way to make a living, and through his service, became a staple man that you could count on. Not some lucky opportune soldier who proved his guts, he proved it because he lived for it. There were times when Merlin was particularly pushed- nine men from Merlin's platoon were killed in the space of two months, two from his squad alone. The worst of the war in Afghanistan was in reclaiming the villages and valleys of Helmand, and it was having an enormous strain on every single man involved. The Royal Marines were the sharpened force that got these areas back, and IEDs, rocket attacks, and the constant threat of suicide bombings meant that Merlin was thrown into the very worst of the shitpit. In these circumstances, you either grew and became a braver, leading man, or sunk back down and lost your mind. Merlin did not let it get him down, and knew the job at hand, getting him and his lads home whilst giving hell to those who wanted to kill them. It was six years of enlisted and NCO work that put Merlin's basics into place, his mean nature and grit putting. This was however, a dark time for other reasons too. Merlin lacked his beard.
Coming home, Merlin then applied for the Special Boat Service two years later, following another tour in Basra, Iraq. This tour saw him lead a platoon of men, acting as a support force to SBS operations in the Euphrates Delta in anti-insurgent work. Already serving alongside some lads from the Regiment, he found it wasn't a big lifestyle change- it was more of the same, and with more Gucci (cool, or specialist) equipment involved from his viewpoint.
This transfer occurred at the age of 26 after all, rather late for an operator, but was not refused due to his good results and competence in the field. Merlin's training had not been a big change for him- stamina was the key focus, and found himself in a position where he had to develop his cardiovascular skills, improving his breathing capacity, developing his fatigue thresholds. He passed with fairly high marks, and wasn't expected to fail- Merlin wasn't the kind of individual to do that, he was driven by something far deeper it seemed than most candidates would be. After pushing through the training and several years service as a Lieutenant, and was eventually allowed to lead a fireteam. He performed operations throughout Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Yemen, Libya and was deployed to Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkey and Syria, among others. He's seen an awful lot of places in almost over a decade of SOF operations, from target elimination, reconnaissance, frogman work, TACP duties, sweep and clear operations with local forces, domestic counter-terrorist deployments, among others. Merlin wasn't officerial material, but rose to the rank of Warrant Officer aged 34. Whilst well-suited as a leader of men, Merlin was seen as too stuck in to his duty to be of use.
One rumour that persists is that Merlin beheaded an ISIL executioner involved en route to the extraction, and a squadmate shared the footage on the internet in a terrifying turn of events- the WO Bastion denies this, but the rumor is said to have more than just words to back it's claim up, from unknown sources in the intelligence and special forces community, it may be him. Several more years in the SBS followed, with Merlin continuing his duties, as a trained diver, jumpmaster, and team leader of a force that echoed that of a Navy SEAL team. In the last four years, it is known that this was the point he was involved in a IED incident following a breach that killed an operator and badly wounded him- and left him needing to have several toes amputated, this being after losing a couple of pints of blood and being brought home. He was back in Britain by the time he was fixed up fully, but this part of the story in particular is quite gruesome. As the surgery for amputating his toes was scheduled to take place a week after he had fully recovered, being a non-priority in comparison to his physiotherapy and other medical check-ups, Merlin was left in pain and was sick of stubbing his feet. So taking his Dive Knife, he quietly returned back to his barrack, and...well, he has three toes missing on his left foot. On the plus side, the surgeon did say he did a remarkably clean job if so.
Last year, he was transferred to be the 2IC in Zero, and has taken the position with his usual confidence. He's good at his job, and he sees duty to get the job done. He seems to have brought his reputation with him, and he has faith in his operators, much like they'd have faith in him. His mountainous, bearded, beanie wearing figure is a sight to see, the combination of a violent scalpel with a surgeon's precision one that makes Merlin the die-hard motherfucker that he is.

Name: Ed "Wraith" Thatcher
Age/Gender: 22
Nationality: New Zealander, former NZSAS
Rank: Corporal
Preferred Role: Designated Marksman/Rifleman
Appearance/Personality:
Ed stands at about 6"0, well built, but beyond just about the level required to be an operator at this level. He has short dark blonde hair, though he normally wears a properly ANZAC boonie hat, covering this, with a gentle five o'clock shadow on his face for a beard, with tinged hazel eyes. He has no tattoos, only a scar from training across the right side of his chest. His accent is thickly Australian/New Zealander, he sounds exactly as you would expect.
Edward, or Wraith, is fresh-blood, keen yet patient. He would wait for the moment he needs to take his shot, yet seems to be rather engaged and chatty, and willing to prove his worth, his wroth only breaking sometimes and hard to spot, given he swears oft. He knows he's the new blood and has something to prove, yet knows he's on the team, and he's there with good reason, Ed knows that, he thinks. He seems straight-talking at times, and dithering at others. Safe to say, Merlin doesn't really like him for the latter, and it doesn't bode well for Ed at times. Whilst new, he is quick to adapt, and is keen to get stuck in, although he isn't perhaps as sensitised to the heart of darkness that people like Merlin have really seen. He's killed people, he knows he will keep going, sometimes from afar, sometimes up close, no problem. But there's nothing as brutal as what some operators have done, not yet, at least, and he doesn't seem to be addicted to violence and chaos, he seems rather to watch from afar, and click the shots when he sees them.

A good old Canuck. Full blooded Algonquin, out of Southern Ontario. Standing a decent 6 foot even. Dark Brown eyes, with the iconic "redskin" of the First Nations people. Weighing in at a solid 210 pounds of Canadian muscle. One of the very rare First Nations people who can grow a full beard. He's a powerful guy. With a great deal of upper body strength, and a powerful set of legs. Endurance is not a problem for him. during combat he wears the CADPAT fatigues under his tactical assault vest with combat harness.
A pair of black wrap-around tactical glasses shade his eyes when faced with glare, otherwise he's bare faced for the most part. He's almost always wearing a pair of treated combat gloves, so he doesn't have to throw on those big clunky gloves that many CBRN operators wear. He'll always have a black treated and rubberized face mask with a high grade filter with atleast two more filters in reserve on him. With the way chemical, biological and radiological hazard can be used it's never a bad thing to be prepared.
"Fuckin' eh!" Tends to be the words you hear from him. Off turf as it were he's quite laid back, friendly even, Canucks are like that. They are the world's peacekeepers, taking over after the conquering force leaves. So they all take it like a kiss to the cheek. If he's not playing cards somewhere on his own, waiting for a polite opponent, he's tooling up a weapon for someone for the small fee of a cigarette or a roach to puff on in his spare time.
He likes to tell stories. Like the time he went hunting with his father, and shot a hole in the visor of his father's baseball cap. Or popping a grizzly with a .22 at 10 feet. A joker and a story teller. He's not afraid to talk.
On the Turf he's terse. Being a master corporal he's used to being on the receiving end of taking orders, and knows he doesn't have the clout yet to be the one yelling at a senior officer unless he's the one who's got the experience. He's not afraid to chew out a captain if the captain is doing something stupid with something that could be a package of weaponized ebola.

"I remember the Smallpox blankets. I remember the influenza outbreaks. I know what sickness and chemicals can do, my great grandson. Do not fear, medicine, the white man's kind, has come far. They can cure smallpox and halt the flu. But they can also turn it into a weapon. Remember that my child." Those were some of the last words Tyler's great grandfather told him, he died 2 months later, quietly, peacefully in his sleep. But those words struck a cord in Tyler Crowstep. And set him on a path that would take him to a place few people willingly go. He'd been your normal Rez Hooligan, a member of a Rez gang, always getting into fights. He hadn't cared even a small bit about tradition and his culture. But something about those words from his great grand father turned him around. He started paying way more attention in school, took to math and the sciences. His marks soared, his "rep" with the gangs fell, but his rep with the ladies who at first saw just some shithead, but who now saw a young man who is going places hit the roof. He had his fair amount of girlfriends, but nothing serious.
He had places to go and things to do obviously.
He graduated his highschool, and went into university, getting into Bio-sciences. But after a year in university, he felt the call. And joined the Canadian Military. He didn't excel, but he did do pretty good atleast at first. Until he found something he loved. He began CBRN training, and caught the eye of CJIRU. He was phased into the unit. Joining a special operations branch of the military. And by extension he needed to have the skills of that branch. So he also began training with the CSOR. Something clicked. And he learned what it's like to be a true bad ass.
By then he'd been in the military for a decade, maybe a little more.
He was co-opted by the Echo Force, when it became known they might need CBRN operators. By now Tyler was very well experienced. Having gone out on several missions where his expertise had been vital. Saving a division of Canadian soldiers from a trap with several mister nozzles that would have burned theri skin off in seconds. An entire base was saved when a JTF2 team had brought a canister onto the base and had broken it, releasing an extremely virulent form of doctored virus into the populace. Tracking down what it was and where it was coming from had lead to a successful stop of something that could have caused an even bigger problem.
When Zero co-opted him he was fully ready and prepared to do what he has too. No longer just a simple soldier. Ready and willing to do what it takes to keep the people who shouldn't have certain types of power from using it.
-Wildcat Heavy hitter rounds for the Colt and the AR-10T. Enhanced rounds with a higher powder count, and retooled casing to allow for a harder impact and more lethal punch. With the downside of the rounds being very expensive to produce and in relatively short supply when available.
-LCD 3.2E chemical detector that he calls, "Milly" and a Type CDV-717 geiger counter that he likes to call "Delia".
-AirBoss C4 CBRN Gas Mask with adjustable filter placement locations for the use of a weapon.
-For full CBRN operations. A full treated and rubberized NBC suit, with sealable arm and leg cuffs, rubber boots, rubber gloves, rebreather and visor.
-His common fatigues are also treated for CBRN usage but at a much lower success rate then the full CBRN/NBC suit he has.
-A Leathermen folding multi-tool, P-SARK with jury rigged quick open release.
Brief Background: Born and raised on the countryside in eastern Norway, Erik was up for the compulsory military service of the Norwegian Armed Forced, though he was allowed to finish his studies in Maritime machine operator before being drafted. Once drafted, he was one of few draftees that enjoyed the military life and all it had to offer, and so he decided to stay. He soon found a longing for tougher challenges, and after serving in Afghanistan and peace-keeping operations outside the Somalian coast, he applied for the best the Norwegian army could offer: FSK, Forsvarets Spesialkommando. Everything about Erik afterwards was top-secret, even more so after his transfer to the so-called Task Force Zero.

Brief Background: Born and raised in small town Nova Scotia, after graduating high school Steve was left with few options. He tried university, he tried working on a fishing boat and that only ended with entire pay cheques being blown on cocaine. Hungover on a Wednesday, Steven stumbled in to his local Canadian Forces Recruiting Center and found himself in basic training out of St Jean, Quebec. After that, he completed infantry school in Wainwright and was posted to the 3rd Battalion, Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry. During his first tour in Afghanistan, Private Rafferty proved himself to be an effective member of a recce detachment.
Skilled at calling in artillery and identifying high value targets, he was eventually given a sniper course, in which he excelled. His second tour in Afghanistan saw him as a member of the 3rd Battalion's sniper detachment. After performing an op with elements of a joint Canadian-American special operations task force, he was recruited in a marksman role for the Canadian JTF2. On Task Force Zero's latest operation, Stephen has been dropped off three days in advance with only a Barrett M82A1, a Glock 21 and some other necessities.
