Reaver gave the girl an out spoken look questioning whether she was going to or not. Patience dwindling and the outdoor temperatures dancing repeatedly back and, forth with every whisper the wind shared. In a manner not completely polite he'd pull on of her hands onto his shoulder assuming she'd caught the drift his tail took one metallic scrap against the cave stone and he started stepping forward confirming she was holding on.@Song Book

Just as he had black scales flashed under a ungodly glare white light shining along the blanketed islands below and above. More of it was ice higher up but in the end it produced the same atmosphere. Just as before they caught an updraft of heated air from the oblivion below which pushed them far enough skyward Reaver could glide a good 4 miles before having to once more catch a volcanic vent. To a minimum convenience keeping gathering chill off the male. Like a flake on the northern wind the glide switched to a rolling dance downward. The ending spiral passing by them both allowing a rough but overall safe landing near an apple tree cloaked in cold.

It wasn't in vain thou as the chill did nothing more then refrigerate t he fruit itself. Sparing words to Delsa quite instantly reaching towards a low branch no sooner then they could land." Fruit, do you eat it? Or is it necessary to find you something else?" Words were indeed short but fruit in comparison to meet with him was like asking a five year old whether they wanted desert before dinner; they obviously would have desert first and Reaver would rather eat meet. A sweet puny snap came from apple he pulled from plant leaving others which he'd grab soon enough if his company not.

Delsa, though seemingly week had quite a grip strength, and laced onto his shoulders. Fearing once again for her own life without the use of her wings. The cold air lighting her abilities ablaze, overuse though from last nights adventure and lack of nutrition notably dulled the produced light. Her gaze drifting over the blank field side her mood darkening at the sudden change in scenery. She was used to the tropical wet dry climate where she lived. The snow was, though not new to her, very disturbing. For a few reasons she would rather not her new companion to know.

As she thought they began spiraling downwards, her grip tightened again his shoulders. Only lightening when they landed. Her legs moving her off his back instant they were on suitable land once again, causing her to go tumbling slightly regaining composure. Her senses recognizing the type of tree before he would have mentioned anything. Nutrition. " Not something I usually have everyday, it will work. If you may." She said trying to grab an apple of her own finding her height working against her without flight.

" I assume you don't eat fruit often as well." She said trying again for small talk. The poisonous substance that had hardened was slowly morphing back into a goop on the inside of the shell. Absorbing back into her wings slowly. Her wings themselves opened, the less injured one moving slightly in the wind which once again had picked back up. Her body coursed through waves of warm after each gust of wind.

Like a harvesting scythe his tail swung upward dropping the fruit. Of course with the sudden chill the typical crunch of red skin was more violent. The distinct taste of extra water was present as well leaving it to pour from his teeth when he took but one of many bites. As sweet as sleep he would have obtained if he could have slept longer the apple was chewed giving Delsa time to speak. Returning weary of the frost bringing cloud in the far distance he returned with his opinion." No, I don't commonly eat tree gifts. They're much to sweet to eat frequently." Truth be told to much of the sweeter fruits and he would be puking it out.

Without any indication of what he heard in comparison to what she could hear Reaver allowed the magnificent reflection of his green eyes to stare into the beyond before returning. He wasn't complete at terms with coexisting but as Delsa's produced light kept the chill from chewing at him it was easily one step closer as in the moment of eating fruit he kept quite closer to her side. Slight scrunched up Reaver had little choice but to keep his tail wrapped around his own ankle after the process of lower more apples to the place which they stood.

In a small attempt to provide Delsa with some remote sense of beginning partnership he asked her a question which would provide some general direction." Would you prefer if we travelled south from her or should we make our way out of the islands before truly deciding which way we venture if we stay together afterwards?" With those words he shared a glance towards her eyes before performing some sort of grooming ritual before strangely shifting his claws within his mane. The routine only continued for a moment before he proceeded to stick his claws into the stone cleaning them as well due to obviously being unable to bath in the waters present since it would lower his body heat to swiftly. @Song Book

She once again had a corse of color. It lighting up more violently if he was to notice such a small thing. The wind was picking up. She would look briefly where he was before down at the Apple in her hand. "I'm fine going where ever you think is best. Never had a sense of direction. " she would say trying to eat as much of the apples as she could. Finding her self becoming full quicker than she remembered she would. It was nice being close to something that shared her, size. Being around large dragons for most of her life Left her in a sort of daze. The fact she was not dead already.

She watched him do what she assumed was a grooming ritual. She would Pat down her hair herself. She had never been far from her home. This entire adventure allowed her to explore new places. The best she had gotten was A ride with her dragon. Yet she was so afraid of falling she didn't open her eyes the entire trip. The closest she ever got To a male. It had finnaly set it. A fierce wave of heat corsed her body; yet the wind had yet to gust. Hopefully he wouldn't notice to much.

Reaver close to keep the cold from wrapping it's deathly embrace apon his body didn't directly notice the first wave of warmth. His focus ended when the wind spun it's razor of chill against his side taking by surpise. It was so uncomfortable that he quickly abandoned cleaning and shifted ready to avoid the storm which he was about to express before Delsa had produced a wave of heat not in reaction to the wind. Why did she do so he was unsure making him ask in a concerned tone." Are you well?" His head partially tilted as regardless he gathered near the warmth.

Naturally he got closer unphased by the larger bits of heat. Now seeking to take flight again he uncurled his edged tail resting it behind him as he turned."tell me when we fly. I would prefer to avoid the collecting wind." Much like before his hands rested on the ground awaiting her weight on his back before he'd rapidly take off to cover large distances. In his mind he didn't want to part from the sky but the winter this present year was to much. On the same note traveling was partially enjoyable knowing he had someone leaving with him.

Her body corsed another wave of heat without the wind. Luckily it came right after and extended the duration of the burst. She allowed his question to drift on the wind, answering when her body had calmed down once more.
"It is nothing. I'm just cold." She lied her body corsing by itself again, as she would grow slightly embarrassed he noticed something so small about someone he shouldn't care for all that much.

Less hesitated than before she would get onto his back. More prepared for take off. Her hands latching where they were before. A stronger grip held. Her wings flapping slightly through the faint gusts of wind. Before straighting into a line, for better arrow dynamics that would allow him to fly better with her weight than before. @MrStitches

Reaver questioned the truth behind whether what she said was true as it seemed to happen once more after he asked her of it. Non the more he couldn't dwell on it for very long as he felt a stern grip of feminine hands on his shoulders. With Delsa comfortably on his back Reaver took a clawed lurch towards the end of the island. A short but vicious sprint which result in a productive take off causing snow to flush away from them as reaver leapt.

Wind rushing against them caused his muscles to cringe while he stretched the wing portions of his arm. Upward the glided for a good minute before alas they're momentum wasn't enough to deny gravity. It was subtle but the change of direction pressed against him while Delsa conflicted it with the lush warmth that his black scales gladly absorbed. The islands currently below just as the last island they departed from was cloaked in frost. Reaver shared a sharp sigh of discontent before latching onto a island with a massive rock wall on one side. Sinking the terrifying pair of claws into it he braced into another launch.

Like an arrow they shot skyward breaking the clouds as they passed making his tail function as means of altering their direction. It was sort of strange how he naturally compensated for her weight in the present jumps but it felt natural as well. It was quite conflicting now, knowing how well she trusted him by the displayed willingness to join him in flight moments inspired a touch of flustered energy. That caused him to tilt his head enabling him to look at Delsa as if ensuring she was still there.

Her eyes closed as he launched her body converging in large waves of brilliant heat. Replenished three fold by the nutrients she had gotten from the apple. The warmth warming him more than before. Her eyes opening when they had started a bit of the glide. Shutting tightly again as they plummeted, her wings staying pressed as close as they can just to ease the wind resistance. Something she hadn't done on earlier flights, using her wings to help him with the extra weight. Even with that she didn't weight much. With him having the extra energy it was no doubt why it felt more natural to lift her weight.

Breaking the clouds her head looked up looking at them bringing her eyes around the scenery. A look of wondered amusement in her eyes as she then stared. Her grip loosening only to be brought back as her wings tried to open, a unconscious design made by the primatial side. At their altitude she would do that. her case would notice him looking at her, but she looked away slyly, as not to cause him to be embarrassed at getting caught. She was enjoying her self to much. Forgetting what she was fretting over earlier. @MrStitches

It seemed strange how well their interactions smoothed out. The way the both of them carried a neutral symbiotic relation. As Reaver cut the wind with the sharp edges of his wings he turned forward with thoughts slowly ringing in his mind. The small exchange of words here and there even if it was small was much longer than he'd ever spent with any other creature. Being forced into white despite his black scales it seemed nature gifted him the appropriate companion to love outside what was once his perfect environment, like a free bound life style surrounding the girls existence. Funny enough in the back of his mind he registered that Delsa no longer had a dragon so in such he was literally her only present way to live while she was his.

After a good solid day of flight it seemed like a similar routine until an alright sized herbivore sat grazing unconscious of the creature silently coming down from above. Without a word to his passenger Reaver launched downward into a dive as if an arrow sent from the heavens only to shift his weight connecting with the native rhino but alas the rhino had little to do but die. Violently the edge of Reaver's tail swung across the creature's gut while he followed with the long stone piercing claws across it's hide. Red, crimson fresher than a frost covered rose painted the ice and snow but was soon left behind as the purple gleam which Reaver held in his eyes spoke openly about his intent with the new food source.

As typical with a surface cave Reaver fixed one claw around the ankle of the beast before dragging the carcass into the darkness of the cave with Delsa either still on his back or beside him. Either way when they were inside and Reaver felt as if he was out of harm's way he took to the flesh with the frightening mass of razor sharp teeth aligned perfectly apon his face. As a casual assumption he motioned to welcome Delsa to eat as well in case she thought he was the sort of race where killer ate first. It obviously wasn't the case when he glanced over checking what the female was doing while his hands were cloaked red with his face dripping the contents of lush red life soon becoming cold apon his chin.

As he flew down her head would hide into his back. Her first instance was to scream at his actions. But she stayed as quiet as she could. Be still could kill her anytime he wanted. She could trust him not to drop her but who said she wasn't near. She was less apprehensive but kept her head down until they landed doing her stumble of his back dashing a bit away into the caves egde. She had never killed something. But she was not inexperienced at why he did. Pressing matters at hand before she could go back in the past though. The creature, which she had never seen before was already dead. She ate scavended meals before. And this one was fresh.

As he motioned for her to come close to the feast. Presumably to join it. Which she did slowly start creeping towards the carcass he was enjoying himself with.

Feebaly her hands went to an incision on his side Reaver had yet to touch. Trying her best to open the skin without damaging it to much. Somewhat she had opened the cut enough to pull the meat from the creature. Nibbling on it as she sat knees to her chest in attempt to seem smaller. She shouldn't be so trusting of the now blood covered dragon like. Even if this was really the one time she had met someone who didn't hate her from the start. If he wasn't aware of the troubles her kind gets for what they are. She wasn't going to bring them up. She would watch him eat more than eat herself. She still was conent with the Apple or two she had eariler. Being scavanger did that to her over time. She remembered blurrily a time when she did scavenge. But even then she couldn't make out what or where she was. No could she remmeber a male of her species which just brought a Rosy tint to her face and a small wave of color to her body allowing her to see clearer and tear off another peice of meat. Blood staining her hands a bit coming from her mouth dripping a bit down her own chin. She was hungrier than she would have admitted. But a meal of meat this big she had never had before.

When the bones of his meal laid bare as annihilated Reaver moved away. The trail of still draining falling just as the waterfall from the side of the island inspired his discomfort knowing well he was a mess. Of course he shared a glance at the still eating. Naturally he sought to bathe bringing an exceptional or so it seemed idea. The male individual looked partially upward before reconsidering his action. Several taps on the stone above tied to curious glances around he acted on his idea.

A second later as his claw pierced the cave ceiling near the cave opening water gushed through the claw holes make certain he knew it was a mistake. Instantly from his jaws sprouted a horrifying scream which one would imagine being in the nightmares of young. Against his skin the literally freeze cold liquid stole warmth absurdly quick causing him to flail backwards to block his face. It took abit of withering around and screeching but Reaver escaped the sprout which just about paralyzed him by lowering his blood temperature dramatically. The next thought was truly fixed on Delsa, she was warm.

Reaver found himself crawling towards the female subconsciously seeking to close distance. Soaked and in shock his breath poured out in large heaves with his claws very gently pulling on the female's side. It was a strange sort of hug in which he pressed himself with her incidentally stopping whatever she was doing. The warmth she produced more than welcoming as Reaver stated something obvious and kind of hard not to notice." I'm cold. The water is cold..." the small tone of his voice revealing his dependence on the heat the girl made.

As he went on to explore his idea she was finishing up her own portion of the meal. Trying her best to wipe her hands on the unstained skin ofbthe beast. Her face on her hands and so on.

His scream sparked an instant flight , or freeze response from her. Freezing her up as her wing flapped slightly and painfully in the worst directions it could. As he sputtered away from the water she crept towards. For a drink or just to was off, luckily for her her body warmed up more as soon as the water hit her smooth skin. As he finished flailing about she would forget to watch him. Surprised as he hugged her. The frozenness of his body sending hers into overdrive to warm her skin back to the normal tempurature. The E light from this more noticeable than before. Fresh food rejuvenating the reaction @MrStitches

Tightly clutching the girl Reaver found warmth. The brightness of the previously unrivalled by Delsa actually eating left him to suffer less from the cold agony. His claws currently resting against her skin just light enough to the point where her skin wasn't cut moved towards her upper back as his lungs sputtered causing rough loud coughs which he unintentionally spat about just over her shoulder. Wheezing some moments afterwards Reaver then realized how quickly he darted to the female feeling some pretty large amounts of embarrassment.

still holding her ever so closely he spoke quietly as if seeking warmth was a mistake."Sorry Delsa... The water didn't come out as expected." His body language on the other hand said he didn't want to leave the embrace. Of course no one really would either if they were also cold and someone else was so snuggly warm. As the moment passed and he heated up he let his hug slink down around her waist while his chin rested on her shoulder in an affectionate manner. Why was it so comfortable he was yet to know but in short unless she made it clear she didn't want him there he was going to stay until they slept or left the cave.

Her wing would flap mode as he sat where be did. It's irritation from the position it was forced into as not to be squished was more than uncomfortable for her. Yet as known she wouldn't want to upset the beast who hung onto her so dearly. Her voice was soft as well." I noticed." Matching his tone almost, as the spike of pain from her wing twitching amounting more volume.
As he repositioned himself she would shift as well. So he was more towards her front less on her back where her wing settled in the position it wanted.

Her expression tried to remain cheery but the stage in repair her wings were at was causing her to twitch in pain now an then. Her gaze moves from him her mind going over memories of a different but similar time when she was hung up by her wings. A tear had formed on her right wing and took a long time to heal. The sky would be lit in a colorful display of the approaching night and a yawn would excape her lips.

With a dark crystal blue hue of light dancing apon the edge of the cave Reaver felt compelled to rest. Although nocturnal nights had become clearly much to cold to endure and Delsa whom he currently held onto already strived to keep him warm. She simply let him hold onto her without question which he appreciated greatly despite only displaying so with his head resting snuggle apon her shoulder. At this point he could see her wings make continued attempts to heal which partially disheartened the male as he hoped she wouldn't simply leave him to freeze if they healed before managing to depart from the sky islands. On similar notes he also felt attached to the girl in some extent because of the recent companionship that Reaver honestly felt he'd miss the miniscule social interactions.

All that thinking mental wearing him down lead for him to slowly become limp as he slept still resting apon Delsa's warm skin bathing in the radiance of heat. His brilliant green eyes sealed away by black scaled eye lids followed his tail being left coiled behind her. If wasn't obvious he was sleeping the small whistle of his sharp teeth were sure to make it clear as he shifted moving his face to accommodate the crook of her neck. If he was still awake he would have lurked back in embarrassment but in the temporary bliss Delsa was able to witness how comfortable Reaver found her company with the unconscious affectionate nestle.

She simply sat and watched the sky for what seemed like an enturity as he slumbered off. Her hands resting where his own arms lay around her waist. The nuzzle asinst her neck making her body course in heat. Subduing her twitching as she wondered if sleep was even possible for her in this postion.

Slowly she would lean towards him. Hoping that would both lean over so she could be more comfortable. The fact he was so close to her a unprotected vital area keepib her wary off disturbing him.
Her wing flaaping the best it could as to drag her away to safety.

With her body's worse reactions she felt calmer than she would ever think she could being close to him. Her wings wouldn't heal fully for a while to come. Hoping still they excaped from this icy tundra before it healed. Thinking if not he may fly off without her at some point when he doesn't need the small heat she produced.

It was in all reality their regions were close but not his intention. Slumber blanketing his conscious her flapping lead for their fall. More so laying rather than leaning he remained locked with her. The heat she made having preheated the ground the male shivered once without waking. Throughout the night he remained like such until dawn came.

Ice ever present at the edge of their cave. White morning light spilling inward caused the vibrant green eyes to snap open. Nestled into the soft form of the female it seemed her warmth was addicting. His tail gently wrapping her ankle while his nose in her the vicinity of her throat it would have been obvious hostility was dwindling. Alas removing his tail and face from her Reaver rose quickly.

A faint sound of cracking could be heard. Ice quietly shattering stone as it contracted. From the once groggy position Reaver shot upward reaching for Delsa. His tail finding her waist and curling up to under her chest it was in those moments their choosen resting place shattered. Above a Fenrir( a large wolf like beast) had ripped the island landing. A coat of silver and eyes of fire the size comparison was rather dramatic.
The pair of them were but the size of pups to it. No sooner the beast had its fangs bared and the surroundings became a hellish onslaught of chill. Reaver with his claw pressed deep into the stone they were once resting one wasn't one with the situation.

Do sooner than his movements had awoken her from such a light doze she was in and out of all the night due to the constant pain of healing wings as she was yanked up from her position, eyes wiring as they lay apon the beast above them.

Massive in size with teeth show. Ready to strike. Her heat had almost finished before a wave of it hit her lighting up along her arms as legs. The Waves didn't stop as they came in droves red orange and yellow had flourecently shimmered along her.

Her defense was not the poison she carried but her display of what she carried. Very few prey have a poison so it was very unlikely for a predictor to have an resistance to the poison. She hoped whatever creature this was would at least be startled by the display enough to grant them time to excape. Her hands clutching his tail to keep herself steady.

More she stayed staring at the beast , the more eh stared the more afraid she was of the creature. The scareder she got for her safety that faster waves flashed stronger.

@Song Book(sorry, I forgot to tag you. -_-)
The beast seemed less than afraid but more offended. The scale like fur raised like dangers indicated the light which illuminated the surrounds had inspired more hostility. There as Reaver sat waiting, his instincts engaged the Fenrir howled... a roar like wail shattering ice in a catastrophic manner. Around them their current island was more ice than rock and now was specks. The wall Reaver and Delsa were on had become a dramatic wasteland of rubble. Hopelessly they seemed to plummet. The creature staring at them from above while they descended.

Falling from light into darkness they descended into what was thought to be an abyss. An endless void contrasting the sky. Snow and specks of earth followed them downward. During Reaver's attempt to balance it was visible his body was slightly sleeked with ice. Delsa's heat did help but as they were now plunged into pure darkness and still falling it was clear they wouldn't be flying back up. Amongst their fall the tail around Delsa's waist moved her to the male's claws. The black surface of their edges gently gliding around he saw but shimmers of light and liquid beneath them...

Ever so tenderly as to seem comforting he was making himself into a bullet like shape to enter the liquid. The reason behind this? So the pair didn't die. The scythe like tail moving to spin them was left spiralling behind. The moment of truth came when the water tension was passed through safely. Of course having took the blunt of the small portion of damage Reaver was spent. The effort placed into that previous action and getting his own wings partially injured they were stuck temporarily on foot for the following day.

After their dive Reaver slipped from the girl. Drifting downward in the liquid slowly the light made by strange luminescent mushrooms barely revealed the male in the water along with her light. His body limp but alive one of this story's authors hoped Delsa could swim...

Rushes od pure adrenalin hit her system easily as they plumented downwards. Not much but a high pitched squeek heard from her as her eye widened at the ammasing liquid they were heading straight towards.

It remained she held tight onto him shutting her eyes as the rush of cold water drenched the two and her body, allot mostly only by the cold allowed her to open one glossy we at a time. Stuck very slowly drifting down she would flai around.

Her best guesson how to swim. It had been such a long time since she ever needed to. He had almost disipeared into the somewhat shallow water that allowed life to grow and devolp.

Her very strange method of swimming had somehow brought her close enough to grab onto him which by what she could see she heaved up towards the lighter water. Pure adrenalin propelling her up.

Warmth slowly draining from her body as water slowed her functions. Striving to reach he surface as her air was running thin a satisfying pop bringing her head above water for a refreshing breath. In clearer light she did her best to keep ahold of him drifting towards what she assumed was a shore land if not just a rock strutting against the water to rest against.

Her hair plastering down in dead bark locks as they hit the rock and she collapsed into the shallow water that surrounded it. Adrenalin long wore off. Laboured breathing as she shivered, her body refusing to produce any more extra heat than needed to keep her unfrosen. She wanted to rest, sleep, gather energy she had spent. @MrStitches
