I played D&D a long time ago on the tabletop, but would be interested if there are any groups out there teaching how to play it via a medium like this. Please let me know if I could perhaps join in and get tutored at the same time. Thanks!

I came across this post and I'm baffled as to why no one has tried to help you. My best advice is to search through the threads already up in this section of the site and take a gander at the setup etc.

Depending on your preference of DM or player, you can see how things are done, as well as elements you like/dislike yourself. You may find that there are a few people you relate to. In that, you recognise their writing/approach as similar to your own.

Observe and learn my friend, so that you may walk among us with a heightened awareness of the land upon which you stroll. If you like I shall make a quick interest check for a oneshot adventure.

Thanks so much for your post. I use to play tabletop many years ago, but never online. The concept is not new to me, just the place it is played in. I will look around and see what I can see. I would need to know how to get started, character development, etc. It seems there may be a few different formats used too? I am familiar with the D&D format best. Thanks again!
