Name: Willow Crock or Willow West; Willow West is usually how her mom refers to her, though "Crock" is her legal name.
Alias: She can go under both KF and Impulse, though usually the latter.
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Abilities/Skills: Due to early training from her mother, Willow possesses skills at archery, and with most weapons in general, though she doesn't often use this talent and is far from mastering it. Her archery is the better of these things, though she hasn't touched a bow in years, and would only do so in emergencies, preferring her "given abilities" over her taught ones. Though she can be rather slow sometimes, she really does possess a good memory, and range of information, which she easily comprehends, even if not always at a fast pace. She can be also easily taught certain ways, should the person teaching her have the patience to explain it.
Powers: Willow has always been exceptionally fast on her feet, though not amazingly so. She's fast, there's no denying, but she can't bring herself to speeds like her male relatives. She was at first faster than her cousin, Nathan, but their speeds are no longer even close to being equal. She seems to have little ability to tap into the speed force at all, at least at the present time.
Weaknesses:
A large lack in self confidence makes her unable to really run as fast as she has the ability to. She does not consider herself as great (or with the potential to be as great) as Bart, Barry or Wally, and especially Nathan. It can also make her unable to do certain tasks, if she believes she's "too slow" to accomplish said tasks in a set period of time.
Willow acts quite often on impulse, rather than thinking things through completely, because her thoughts are often unorganized.
She does hero work, though it is usually a minimal amount and often undercover, which also makes her more familiar with working solo or with a duo, so she has little experience with teamwork, added atop her impulsive nature.
Though she can heal from injuries and viruses quicker than most, she also can die from most human means, like wounds, etc.
Her metabolism is higher than normal, making her need to eat frequently or else she won't be able to run, like other speedsters.
Equipment: Like Nathan, she has compartments in her gloves for food. That is about all.
Personality: Willow had always behaved like the late Wally West, a trait which proved to annoy Artemis on many occasions. Following the general family name, she's as girl and boy crazy as her father, uncles and cousin, a flirt when she's bold enough to be. She's hyperactive with a short attention span, and is unable to sit idly for too long. Though she possesses traits very similar to her family members, she's influenced much by her mother as well. She tends to be quieter, and more reserved on occasion, even if she's often impulsive. Her impulsiveness is possibly one of her worst traits. She will do things without thinking. Whether it's speaking, eating or jumping into a battle unprepared, it scares Artemis to death that it'll get her killed one day, and probably will. She tends to be sarcastic, as well, though much sweeter than some might expect, and ready to help and to offer comforting words if she needs to. Her family and friends are more important than anything, to the point where she'd sacrifice everything for them, even her own life, if it had to come to it. The gap in her life with no father has left her sensitive on the subject. When people talk of Wally, she is silent. As a matter of fact, she doesn't speak about him at all, and has never had a father figure besides Bart or Barry, but mostly Barry, as Bart was always busy with his own son most of her life. It still cannot fill the gap she feels. Even though her relatives often display a large amount of confidence, she herself can't do so. She can see plain and clear that she is not as fast as others, making her feel like she isn't worthy of the name, and for some reason, just doesn't feel welcome among the speedsters, when really, it is this lack of confidence that's the only reason she really can't meet speeds as fast as them.
History: It's true that Wally died far before Willow was born, many, many years before. But Wally, strangely enough, had planned ahead in case it was going to happen, and Artemis had ever wanted a child or never got over him. So, once Artemis had settled down some, and decided she was tired of being alone and needed at least some piece of Wally back in her life, she'd gone to the doctor for Wally's "Plan B" and conceived Willow. Before then, Bart had had his own son, which fueled the desire more, so Willow was a blessing to Artemis. But Green Arrow had retired not long after Willow's birth, meaning she often had to be left in Barry's care, and in Artemis' free time, was usually put into training at about age six, a time Artemis saw fit, since she started much earlier. She had first been trained as Artemis had; with hand-to-hand combat, weapons and of course, a bow. Willow took to it easy, it ran in her blood, but she never had much interest in it, and Artemis knew from her birth, what she really wanted to do was run. She wanted to be like her uncles, she'd always looked up to them, admired them, and wanted to be like them, but she didn't seem to be able to tap into that super speed, no matter how much she ran around normally. It saddened Artemis, but eventually, at about the age of nine, she finally hit that boost, and if only briefly, was able to run like her relatives were. A year and a half later, Bart had taken to training her a bit, alongside Nathan, hoping they'd learn at the same pace, and though early on she was not a secret, Artemis decided she had to be. For safety reasons, because even then, Willow was impulsive, and irresponsible, and she knew if exposed to other young heroes like Artemis was, she would be getting herself into trouble. Willow had taken this the wrong way. She felt her mother had no trust in her abilities, of that she wasn't worth the red and yellow like her father was. Though unintentionally, it significantly hurt her pride, but made her a bit more serious during training sessions. Artemis knew, though she could hide her from the public and most of the league, she couldn't hide her from her cousin, Batman, or Robin, and so she had been sent out occasionally on missions with both Robin and Nathan, and sometimes even covert missions on her own. As she grew, Willow became slightly cold towards Artemis, and Artemis more distant, as she took on more hero work and more hero work until she was hardly ever home at all, except small parts of the time, which continued to leave her mostly in Barry's care, or home alone, when she wanted to be alone.
Appearance:
Drawn by me. She's about 5'4 1/2, 140 pounds and a bit on the chubbier side, actually, though not much. Her costume looks much like Wally's, only the red is the dominant color, and its cut off at the stomach like Artemis' costume, which she also pulled inspiration from as far as the fit goes. She always wears a shirt with a symbol of some hero on it as casual clothing, but mostly the one and only Flash, naturally.
Other: Nathan's cousin, also, comes in after Nathan gets sucked into the speed force and remains in the team when he comes out.
