While the romhacks list is vast and I do not feel comfortable sharing the links out in 'public' given what often happens when Kotaku someplace big draws C&D-happy company attention, there are very good stand-alone fangames out there.

As for Halloween Hack... I didn't say it was the best hack. There are better ones. There are more interesting ones. And a lot of hacks, by default, are just bad.

I didn't even know Undertale existed until it was out for three months. I'm kind of glad, too. Because I managed to dodge all the spoilers.

Halloween Hack had the best writing! It was possibly better than Earthbound itself! sarcasm
