That's my fault, I apologize for my poor performance as a GM guys. I've really underestimated this first semester of graduate school and work. I don't mean to use it as a crutch of an excuse, but I'm suddenly pulling 13 hour days on the regular.

A couple big projects snuck up on me at once and I really would like to extend my a legitimate apology for not communicating that. Being in a writing program, I found myself writing so much I was kind of spent on words.

However, this isn't my way of trying to end the RP. No-fucking-sir-ee. I've gotten through the worst of it

Big projects are particularly annoying in their sneaking skills... :/

But once again guys--I want to apologize for that because especially as a GM, that's not good form. And if I've promised such a complete story, I damn sure intend to deliver on it.

....or at least not just disappear.

Anyway, chipping away at the post now. I'm going to move us along and since I haven't heard from Tyler, I'm putting his character out of commission but still in the game.

I'm going to post my post in 2 parts, just so I can get something up and give y'all some content. But, I plan to have a follow up post up tomorrow evening as well. (IF all goes well with this GRE studying nonsense)

Also, if you're posting in two parts, would you rather I wait on posting Andrew or just whenever? You might manage to get your second half up before me either way, but on the offchance I start writing and don't stop...

Depending on how many labs reports I can slug out in the next day, I may post tomorrow evening or sometime between Sunday and Monday.

For both of you: no rush on posting before I get past 2 up. I just wanted to give you guys something small to go off of if you were eager to chug out a post lol

Sorry about not being in touch. I've been recovering from surgery and honestly was under the impression this was on hiatus for some reason. I hammered out a post for a different RP yesterday and I really wasn't happy with the result, so it's probably for the best that Maxine remains incapacitated for a little while. I'm thankful you didn't eject her entirely because when I'm a little better I still want to be part of this. The slow pace works for me.

TYLER! *pounce tackles* Figuratively, of course, recovering from surgery does not sound like you want literal pounces to happen. >.> We're all here now! Eeeeeee.

UPDATE: @Nemaisare and @Lord Wraith, in case either of you were worried, I'm still working on that post, it's just become....a bit longer than expected. I was four pages in when I realized I might need to scale back and edit. Like I may or may not have mentioned, I've been writing a smidge bit more. So, now when I write, I just throw everything on the page--and
then I'm trying to resist the urge to play with form more
--but then I keep finding myself slipping,
separating the posts into scenes that jump in and out of time.

But don't worry, I'm cleaning her up! I'm also creating a mock/real syllabus to present in my class tomorrow, so I won't lie, my attention will be split. But, if I've got two things to jump between, I'm actually more likely to do them both instead of just procrastinating, so yaaay multi-tasking.

Oh my Lord no, you are more than fine honey! And it technically was under an uncommunicated hiatus brought about by my own faults. But yes, I wanted to say that about Maxine: I wanted to set her up for an internal arc of her own. I toyed around with including Miles mentioning "However, my mot--I mean--my master, told me particularly attuned souls can enter a plane beyond normal slumber after a while. 'But it will only be by invitation,' she would always add." and give a shrug "Not really sure what that part was about." he'd turn off muttering "Did I leave that tome in the swamp...?"

And that'd be to set up the scene for Maxine to have her arc, I've even got a character or two lined floating in my headspace. All up to you boo, whenever you feel ready to come back in.

Well, I don't think Andrew's state of being changed over the course of that lovely post, but I'm now grinning like a maniac. Most excellently awesome!

Actually, was Glitch known to the public when the Mavericks were running about? Cuz if she was, Andrew may have also gone Eeeeeeee! at the end there.

Hello Darlings!

I'm so sorry for dropping that like a Beyonce ablum: no follow up and no lead-in. I totally meant to and almost as soon as I finished that post, my bed started looking real comfortable.

That's really not even all of it--there was an entire segment and a mini flashback for Jackal and Archimedes. But then I realized it was overly necessary and yada yada yada yada yada y'all were just wondering why it wasn't posted when it was supposed to be. I know, I know, I'm hating on my inability to be good like Wraith with dat post frequency.

Okay, so what I also meant to say with this post: I'll do a touch of a follow up to close everything off and give you something solid to go off of.

I wanted to ask, how am I doing with setting? I'm not the best at anchoring visuals and scenes, and I know I sometimes use odd descriptions. I just want to make sure it's coming across for you all.

As for Glitch: honestly, I'm not sure if this conflicts with @Lord Wraith's telling but I don't recall Glitch being a public figure in this iteration. But I'd imagine a fan could find out about her existence easily with how things leak on the internet.

I just got back from a writer's conference and I got so many tips on novel plotting that I'm high key planning on using for the RP and some great ideas for characterization and I think I'm going to include some flash pieces in there as well (telling a bit of history or condensing vital information and scenes into two or three paragraphs)

And yes, Jackal! I'm still playing with making this the Jackal.

Ha! I don't mind the wait provided there's quality content, and I figure here, I definitely did not mind it. :P

I think you're doing well with setting and visuals and giving us other folks details to work with. Or, well, I came off that read with ideas for what to write next, so, you're certainly not leaving us hanging out to dry. :)

But new ideas and tips and plans for the plot and writing and whoo! Sounds like we're in for fun times, eh?
