I am planning on doing an in depth story about lots of sims and posting it on my simblr, and I need some interesting characters.

I'm just asking for suggestions for characters. I'd just need a character description, and their personality. Just a common summary of them. A really interesting background (their home life, family, any problems??)

I don't want any character that's boring, that's all.

The setting for this story would be modern times, in a city that's meshed with English and Japanese culture, kind of like how big hero 6 is, but way more subtle.

tldr; I'm gonna post an indepth story with really interesting characters, all made on the sims, and I need suggestions for really good characters.

It's going to be based around highschoolers (which the story will follow into their adult years), so I'd like young teens. Even their siblings or parents or family is welcome, to make them more in depth.

Here's a little character sheet to be more specific?

Name: (Doesn't matter, as I'd come up with them myself)

Age: (I'd prefer teenagers, as the story bases around them. But parents or siblings would be a nice add on, especially for bacsktory)

Gender: (Any gender, tbh. Male, female, trans, etc. Makes them interested, and may add to the story and conflict idk??)

Sexual orientation:(Same explanation for gender)

Personality: (A short list of quirks, hobbies, traits. Things that make them unique, and likable. Maybe any sports they play, or clubs they do, cliques they hang out with and how they are to others)

Backstory: (Nothing too in depth, just a small paragraph to explain why they're at the school, any struggles they have had. Any future struggles that may come up? I will be writing their stories so anything will help.)

Appearance isn't important, as I'd make them the way I'd see fit, but if you really love this character and imagine something specific for them, go ahead and state it.

If I use your character, I will definitely give credit. I'd list your username on here, or your tumblr, as that's where this will be going.

This does not have to be perfect, it's just brainstorming to help me come up with characters.

Well shoot I might just drop one or two char's here.

And thank you for the interest, I can't wait to see what people come up with for characters. :)) They don't have to be super complex or anything, but I just want realistic people.

I decided to ask other people for help because coming up with many characters is difficult for me.

So please, go ahead and make characters. :D I may or may not use them, but if I do use them, or take inspiration from them I'll definitely credit.

I'm a little unclear about exactly what you're doing but i'll try one.

Name: Happy goth dude (Placeholder name, you make up the real one)

Age: Doesn't really matter if he's a teen or the father of a teen

Gender: Happy goth DUDE!

Sexual orientation: Pretends to be Bi, but will probably freaks out if a guy tries to kiss him.

Personality: He's a goth... with a smile! He enjoys punk music, piercings, and is into everything a goth would be into. Unlike the perceived notion of goths however, he's surprisingly open and cheery. Even people who are normally put off by goths are disarmed by his bubbly personality. He's pretty good with a guitar and can do acrobatics. For some reason things tend to break when he touches them. It's not that he's clumsy, just unlucky. as an example, the head on the watering fountain will likely rust and fall off the moment he's done drinking from it. Because of this, he has a bad rep with a lot of people who refuse to associate with him.

Backstory: Probably on a quest for acceptance, as non-goths are put off by his gothness and other goths think he gives goths a bad name. After he assimilates into the group, the day will come where he'll have to beat the lord of goths by outplaying him in a punk rock concert.

Why not, I feel like trying my hand at a girl.

Name: Necro girl (again, name them whatever you like)

Age: has to be a teen

Gender: Necro GIRL

Sexual orientation: Likes people who are afraid or yell a lot. As long as they show a lot of raw emotion, downstairs plumbing doesn't matter.

Personality: A bratty, pretty kid that earned the title "necro girl" because she's constantly "killing" other students by pointing at them before "adding them to her undead army." Despite her annoying brattyness, she's actually amassed a following of zombies that will do her bidding, from helping her cheat on tests to bringing her new prey to "kill and convert." (in case it wasn't obvious, she's not killing them, just playing a stupid game) She has a pretty good nice girl act going on. She likes bible studies and church fundraisers. Few people outside the school suspect her of being the tyrantical NECRO GIRL!!!!!!

(honestly, most people find her reign cute and hard to take seriously)

Backstory: She came to the school to get away from the goody two-shoes at the church, despite the fact that she kinda likes those people. As the story progresses, it's revealed that Necro girl actually had a tragic death in the family that lead her to to practice her necromancy, which is just a coping mechanism to deal with the shock of their death. Didn't expect something that dark, did you?

@BrokenPromise First thing, lemme explain what I'm doing exactly. :P On tumblr, there are Sims specific blogs called "simblrs" and I wanted to get into the community so I thought I'd do a little story thing. Most of these stories are a bit like comics??? In a way?? The blogger would post screencaps with captions and just make the story progress.

And that's what I plan to do. But I want this to be complex with many characters that aren't boring, and it's a bit difficult for me to come up with so many, so I asked for some help on here. If I would use anyone's ideas or get inspiration from it, I would credit them. For example, on my simblr, I'd list your username on here, or if you had a tumblr, I'd list your tumblr username, or any way you'd like of me crediting you.

Ahh, that makes a lot more sense now. I didn't think sims 4 was so advanced that you could create such "complex" characters.

Credit me however you like, if at all. It really isn't nessisary. They're just ideas. You're the one that has to finish flushing them out and make them real.

I'm glad you like the characters presented thus far. I'll present more, but at a later date. I'd rather someone else get the opportunity to join the fun. But I do have some questions...

-You seem to have the idea based around a school. Is it special? You did ask for a reason as to why they'd be at THE school.

-How many characters are you looking for total? (teens specifically)

-Do you have any personal characters, or are they all going to be user submitted?

The school itself isn't really special. I just had the initial idea to make a story about a high school girl and her life, which will progress into her adult years. The reason their at the school isn't important. They could have lived in the town their whole life.

I already feel like I have a lot of characters. I have eight high schoolers thought of, plus their families. The families aren't too big a part to the story but it's makes the characters fleshed out. I mean, how often do you see a side characters parents??

I currently have eight original characters, plus families, so I may add two more characters? Maybe introduce more in the future, if I want to take the challenge. So I'd probably close this soon as I'd probably get characters fleshed together.

I know it seems I've signed up for a daunting task but my main focus for this project is,,,

You don't really get an in depth look nto a side characters life, and my main goal for this is to make everyone interesting, so the audience won't be yearning for more about this character or that character.

And actually, Sims 4 is very limited into making "complex" characters. In the sims 3, you had a large array of traits to pick from and was able to apply a few to your sim, but sims 4 has very little options. But with my story telling, I hope to make them interesting.
