NAME – Gentaro Kisaragi
AGE – 19
ALIGNMENT – Hero
APPEARANCE – (Does this mean no pictures? Because you were kind of confusing here)
STYLE – Cosmic Energy is his weapon of choice
TECHNIQUES – Using Cosmic Energy, he creates energy constructs on his limbs. He doesn't have a list of things he makes per say, just whatever he feels would fit the situation. Because he uses Cosmic Energy to supplement his attacks, he is very physically fit for someone his age
CHARACTER BALANCING – He has little to no ranged capabilities
PERSONALITY – Brimming with energy, Gentaro has a love of life and other people. Determined to make as many friends as he can, he's a very outgoing person. Gentaro is always trying to see the best in other people, but is not blind to the overwhelming darkness in some people's hearts. While he's quick to forgive his friends, he is by no means a pushover. He has limits, and if you push them, he will hurt you. Gentaro is the kind of guy who would go to the ends of the earth for a friend, because he believes that said friend would do the same for him. The bond between people is precious to him, and he wont forgive anyone who disrespects it
BACKSTORY – As a young boy, Gentaro always loved to make new friends. While getting closer to a bookworm-ish girl in his village, Gentaro came across a book on the basics of Cosmic Energy. Interested, he decided to give it a try. He was surprised to find that using Cosmic Energy came shockingly natural to him. So he kept experimenting with it, and began using it in his everyday life. When he was 11, he got very ill. While he slept, he had a dream that a strange being came to him. It told him that Cosmic Energy was the power of friendship, and it was because of his great capacity for it that he could wield Cosmic Energy so easily. Whether this was real or just a fever dream is up for debate, but Gentaro believed it.

When he was 18, someone came in the middle of the night and kidnapped his sister. He woke up to the sounds of her muffled screaming and gave chase. However, the kidnapper was able to escape him. The next day, he packed up to go and look for her. After half a year of searching, he finally found some good news; someone had seen his sister safe and sound. While most people would simply return home and await her return, Gentaro knew that his sister's sense of direction was so horribly bad that she'd never find her way home by herself. So he once more resumed his search, energized by the knowledge that his sister was safe, but lost

NAME – Marlowe Anders Bladeson (Vallis)
AGE – 19
ALIGNMENT – Hero
APPEARANCE – Marlowe has shaggy dark brown hair, and it is obviously unkempt and not well maintained; in fact, Marlowe's hair is so dark, most believe it to be black. A good description of the color would be a "chocolate brown". Marlowe's eyes are slightly sunken in and for the most part, he keeps deep, purplish rings under his eyes, a mark of a complete lack of sleep. His nose is small, tipped slightly downward, and his nostrils do not flare much. His lips are thin, and a thin mustache and goatee surround his lip and cover his chin. Instead of being a proper goatee, it create more of a van dyke look; since his mustache and goatee do not connect.
His physical shape is slim; his arms are not extremely muscular. His chest and gut are relatively flat, though they lack tone. The main distinguishing feature of his torso are his bevy of scars covering his chest and back; signs of what seems to be a very radical surgery. For this reason, Marlowe keeps bare torso hidden from anyone he meets, for this is a sense of shame and disgust at his own person.
His legs are average length, and like his arms, slightly hairy. The hair on his chest grows in slight patches, since the surgery has caused scar tissue where hair still has not grown.
As far as clothing choices, Marlowe tends to trend away from armor, staying with a simple tunic shirt, slacks, jacket and cloak covering his torso. His usual colors are either a soft burgundy jacket and white tunic, or a simple white shirt. His slacks trend from a dark brown to a light khaki. For footwear, he keeps a pair of dark brown leather boots. He also wears a leather belt, and usually keeps a leather bandolier where he keeps his greatsword scabbard.
STYLE – Mainly a weapon fighter, but has some aura skills as well, as taught by Viera.
Zweinhander: Marlowe is slowly learning how to wield his huge blade, Hard Edge. As of now, his skill is amateur at best. However, he is able to channel energy through the blade
One Handed Blades: Marlowe has used a saber for the majority of his life. While most of his skill with the sword is self-taught; Marlowe spent much of his time with Otis and Kath learning proper sword techniques.
Hand-to-Hand: Marlowe focuses on boxing and grabs in his fighting style, and has no proper martial arts training, beyond the aura arts that Viera has taught him. Because of that, his fighting style is brash, strong, but constantly open to dodges and counterattacks.
TECHNIQUES – Marlowe's fighting style depends on his weapons. With the Hard Edge, Marlowe is capable of causing massive damage with his swords, and is able to channel spiritual energy through his hand or blades. As of now, his skills are extremely novice, and Marlowe is constantly learning how to hone his abilities.
GM APPROVED ABILITY: Regeneration:
Due to a horrific procedure done to Marlowe years ago, Marlowe, for all intents and purposes, cannot die. This does not mean his body is invincible; the opposite is true. He has stamina, pain thresholds, he feels pain and he can be physically and emotionally scarred. Marlowe is also the only person who can survive a Kirhas attack from an Orderling. It does knock him out completely though.
CHARACTER BALANCING – Marlowe's main weaknesses are focused less on his body and more on his psyche. Marlowe is easily pre-dispositioned to traumatic stress disorders, and struggles with loss, due to losing his family over his life. Marlowe's greatest physical weakness lies in that his body has no natural armor. His skin is easily cut, pierced, shot or maimed, and he still feels pain like a regular man. He can be knocked out by sheer pain, and his own regeneration causes him immense pain as well. His body also rejects painkillers and medicine, forcing him to suffer through sickness and pain.
PERSONALITY – Marlowe comes across as friendly, open, honest, kind, overly idealistic, foolish and brash. The perfect storm to cause problems with a group that has no qualms with murdering innocent people. In fact, it's Marlowe's personality that gets him in the most problem. His "charge and save everyone" approach, which never works, is how 90% of his fights begin, and they tend to end with him missing teeth, pints of blood and sometimes a few parts of his body.
Marlowe also eats roughly 200% more than an average person, but that is less of an "idiotic hero trait" and due to the rapid metabolic rate his body undergoes due to his "body's enhancements". If given the chance, Marlowe would consume up to six meals a day. And he loves it. (He's never met food he didn't like)
BACKSTORY – Marlowe Anders Bladeson was born poor, to a fisherman and a woman who ran away from her conman father. His childhood was fairly uneventful, until his father was lost at sea, his mother became sick and passed away, and custody transferred to his only living relation: his grandfather. Marlowe spent his childhood and teenage years as a cabin boy for his grandfather's airship, which doubled as a gambling house and dance hall. For most of his youth, he was surrounded by vice and greed, and his grandfather did not help him learn morality. Still, he dreamed of being a scholar instead of a gambler, and focused on his studies, trying to enter a prestigious magic academy.
Oddly enough, he was scouted by members of the academy, and was asked to be an laboratory assistant, on the grounds that he may receive preferred admission after assisting the scholars. Instead of assisting the experiment, he became the experiment. His body was cut open and used as an experiment for runic magic transmuted onto the human body. He survived the experiment, but the scars from the surgery never healed, yet other fresh wounds on his body healed in seconds. Seeing him as their first true success, the academy attempted to use Marlowe as a vessel for their God. After that, it's all a blur, as Marlowe's memories then shift to him washing ashore on Dun. Worse off, no one in the area knows of his own home. Or any cities he knows. Or any of his gods.
ORIGIN – Marlowe washed ashore near Dun and traveled around before meeting Kath, Otis and others; and it is there he met and fought the Order. Since then, he has been embroiled in combat with them, and has spent a whole year traveling the country of Derim to get stronger. His physical...abnormalities make him an interesting subject of the Order, at the very least. Or, he's a horrible thorn in their side.
OTHER – Before everyone thinks that Marlowe is OP, allow me to say this: my job is to make your characters look GOOD. That also means my ass is going to get the brunt of all the awful stuff, and I'll be setting up awesome stuff for you guys. Plus, Marlowe sucks as a fighter.

NAME – Kelsny L. Echen
AGE – 20
ALIGNMENT – Hero
APPEARANCE – 5'4”(about 162 cm), 124 lbs(about 56.25 kg). Extremely wiry and small frame. Slightly larger than normal eyes, full lips, mousy nose and somewhat pronounced. ears. Small eyebrows sit just above her green colored eyes, complemented by high cheekbones. Chocolate hair falls just below her shoulders, with bangs sweeping in front of her eyes. She is neither curvacious nor well endowed, having a build similar to a preteen boy. However she has somewhat shapely, long legs.
Normally wears modernesque clothing characterized by loose fitting shirts, sweatshirts, pants, and thick soled shoes. A fan of dark and drab colored clothes, particularly anything gray or dark green.
STLYE – Weapon fighter with tertiary psionic abilities
TECHNIQUES – Speed and stealth. Uses a nineteen inch(48 cm) blade for the majority of fights, and tries not to rely on her psionic powers often. She prefers to take enemies by surprise and keep fights as short as possible. Also very adept at hand to hand combat, knowing a handful of pressure points, holds, and joint locks.
CHARACTER BALANCING – She's a glass cannon, and her powers are underdeveloped because she fears using them. The longer a fight goes on, the more of a disadvantage she's at. She's not very good at taking hits and will sooner flee than fight a lost battle. Not very good at handling ranged battles either.
PERSONALITY – Extremely bitter and angry at the world. She hates foreigners but has come to accept the fact the she will be dealing with them the rest of her life. She is very reserved and introverted, often shutting out the world and bottling up her emotions. Intelligent, stubborn, and somewhat pragmatic. She is easily angered by what she doesn't understand immediately, one of the reasons she doesn't use her powers. She really enjoys chocolate, but is hard pressed to find any.
BACKSTORY – Kelsny was born and raised in Idio just after the war. She has only known the oppression of Lendeian people and learned to hate her foreign government. But like all of her kind she was forced to sit there and take. She never outwardly expressed her aggression, allowing the rage to build gradually. She spent most of her time trying to acquire books to read and around the age of thirteen, she came to realize she had psionic powers. Her theory is that the massive amount of studying and learning triggered her latent abilities, but she has never talked to anyone about it. At the age of sixteen her parents claimed Idio was not the place for her to reach adulthood, amid all the horrible conditions, and hatched a dangerous plan. Using some shady underworld connections, she was smuggled onto the mainland and has been living there since.
ORIGIN – Kelsny never stayed in anyone place very long and traveled often. Until she arrived in the northeastern lands. She came during the beginning conflict and was at first indifferent about it. But as the conflict dragged on and on, she came to realize the ramifications of the situation. If the order won in Dun, she figured they wouldn't stop until they had the world. The foreigners who oppressed her people suddenly seemed like the lesser of two evils, but she still didn't have to like them. The idea popped into her that if she, a Lendeian, were to help fight back the order, then perhaps relations between Lendeians and the rest of the world.
OTHER – She always wanted to learn other magic, but she has no idea where to start or even if she can. Her most ambitious dream is to learn how to manipulate spiritual energies, but she never told anyone because even she believes it's impossible.

WIP – I’m Still Workin’ On It

NAME – Aaron Rayne
AGE – 24
ALIGNMENT – Anti-hero
APPEARANCE – A young face with smooth white skin, surrounds two yellow-green eyes, narrowed with suspicion, under brows and a head of gold. He is neither tall nor short, and he is muscled but not to any remarkable degree. He has the body of an aristocrat’s son, trained to look the part of a lord. To complete his impression, he wears cloth of royal blue, covered loosely by something white that can flow. Gold, the metal of kings, and white gloves so as not to dirty his hands, completes the young noble look.
STYLE – Storm guardian that carries two silver rapiers.
TECHNIQUES – Aaron can shoot sparks from his fingertips, but lightning bolts powerful enough to cause major damage? That’s a little above his head right now. Instead, he uses his twin rapiers to focus his magic. Using both blades at once, Aaron runs electricity through the metal, which arcs between the blades if held close enough. Then he repeatedly strikes at his opponent, running the electricity through their weapon to paralyze their hand and arm to give him an opening to strike. Once he jets both blades into you at the same time, you’re done for. Electricity cooks anything between the two tips, to deadly effect in the case of most internal organs. He also does what some call his “don’t touch me” technique, which is when he electrocutes anyone who’s touching him to make them stop touching him.
CHARACTER BALANCING – He has no response to ranged attacks at this time. Arrows man, them arrows. He is incredibly cocky, which can be easy to exploit if used correctly. His storm magic takes a few seconds to charge up.
PERSONALITY – Yeah sure, he has one of those… I think. No, not really. Aaron is a self-righteous bastard who hardly ever gives the consequences of his actions a second thought, or a first thought for that matter. And if he does think about it, that wouldn’t change his mind for a single second. Aaron haves frivolity and outbursts of emotion, but it’s hard to tell with his perfect poker face. He’s also very methodical and analytical, watching and observing before deciding on an action. Conversely, he is supremely confident in his ability to handle anything that he need to; doubt is for the weak and powerless. Aaron hardly cares about anything beyond what he wants to do next.
BACKSTORY – Aaron grew up in one of the noble houses in the Kataloni Empire. He was a young noble with nothing to do, so he did the young maiden of the neighboring house. That went over… unwell. He was kicked out, or at least he thinks that’s what was decided. Well whatever, he’d already left by then. No reason to stay if he wasn’t getting the royal treatment anymore.
ORIGIN – Aaron likes his elemental magic. Aaron puts almost no value in human life. Aaron is extremely bored. So what does Aaron do? He decides to hunts members of The Order. Nah, this couldn’t possibly end badly.

A few things about fire elementals:

The rarity of the fire elemental is something I do note and I'd be curious how you explain Aaron here having the blood of Sentar running through his veins. =)

Fire elementals aren't naturally uncontrollably blistering with heat, so they don't burn others by simply touching them unless using their powers unless you are so untrained you can't control your body temperature at all?

So... who, what, when where is Sentar (besides being the world's worst fireman)? I'm assuming that Aaron would tie back to the Sentari Empire in some way, but I'm not sure what happened to that exactly. Is that the same as Sapari, and where/what is Sapari for that matter?

Edit: And no, he's not trained in any way, shape, or form. He burns things on accident with his hands all the time, which is a problem, oddly enough, that he doesn't have with any other part of is body.

Sentar was the first fire elemental granted anywhere from four-thousand and onward years ago.

The Sentari Empire collapsed when the last heirs of the bloodline disappeared/died.

The Sapari is the Desert that connects the four continents (ari, gavia, rylos, and teriv). The Sapari was also the former site of the Sentari Empire and is all now a smoldering ruin of desert and mountains which few people inhabit outside of the southern tropics south of the desert (where Melshir is located).

. In the time since this event the descendants of Sentar (notably the Sentarous, Sentarin, and Sentarih lines) have widdled and practically disappeared—making the guardian of the phoenix few in number and influence.

I do a lot of stuff with the Sentarous, anyway. But time to talk about the Kataloni.

The Kataloni Culture is sort of like feudal japan; it's very traditional and there's a lot of checks and balances. Every noble house has the blood of Kataloni in their veins whilst the peasants do not. Lightning is a sign of nobility. However, developing a reason for a young kataloni heir to travel this far out is an interesting challenge all the same. But that can be said about any of the elementals (called guardians, not mages for future reference) as a lot of them are sacred, noble, or important to their peoples.

I don't have a hierarchy for every culture defined to this gigantic tree, no. Honestly, all that really should stick when making nobility is cultural cohesiveness (if you make a kataloni they will have japanese naming structure, if you make an adsgarian they will have german/norse conventions, etc.)

Well, here goes! I wasn't sure about countries and areas within the world, so sorry if I've made any mistakes. In addition, if there are any other errors with the bio, then please let me know!

NAME – Eden Kasratu
AGE – 18
ALIGNMENT – Anti-Hero
APPEARANCE –

Hair - Eden has short, well-kept blonde hair - though it is faint and near colourless.

Clothing- Eden wears distinct religious robes, though their markings do not match that of any main religious movement. The robes are pure white in colour, and are tight enough to allow free movement during battle.

Build- Eden is slender to the point of being weedy, his small build appearing to indicate a general lack of strength. He has no noticeably developed muscles, nor any scars of battle.

STYLE – Eternity Force; Harmony

TECHNIQUES –

'Purification': Eden forces high concentration Harmonic energy through his surroundings to flush out hidden darkness and chaos energy. This is a last-ditch ability however, as it leaves him exhausted.

'Shining Rapier': A simple long-range energy attack used for standard combat. Energy spears are formed from Harmonic energy and fired at foes.

Strategy: Eden fancies himself as a strategist, destined to lead a future army. For this reason, he constantly forms strategies for difficult situations, observing in fascination, the way in which such plans eventually play out. Due to his reputation as a backstabber however, there are very few people willing to listen to his ideas - even when they could lead to certain victory.

CHARACTER BALANCING – Eden is not a talented combatant; he is a strategist and figurehead rather than a real soldier. In close combat, Eden's will be defeated easily - thus he is forced to rely on others for support in battle, covering them with his abilities.

PERSONALITY – At first glance, Eden appears to epitomise the positive impact of harmony, a kindly soul who greets everyone with open arms and a warm smile. This is all a facade however, a front for Eden's true nature as a cruel manipulator - an individual who takes express pleasure in twisting those around him, betraying all trust with that unwavering smile fixed in place. In truth, Eden seeks only one thing from life; the total eradication of all chaos, disorder and unrest. Whilst this might seem like a wholesome goal to a casual observer, its true evil gradually becomes apparent as the symptoms of his power are revealed. Eden will take any road to secure his father's dream, take any lengths to eradicate chaos even when such lengths involve deep moral transgressions. In short, Eden is no better than the very thing that he seeks to eradicate from the world, proof positive that harmony can be just as destructive as chaos when used blindly.

BACKSTORY – The son of Dalance Kasratu, Eden was raised away from his father in a wealthy yet isolated household within Ari. He was bought up by his mother, cut off from all humanity aside from the servants of the house and his own unconventional family. It would be fair to say that Eden was an unloved child, left alone to explore the grandiose manor - gleaning what he could from the illustrious books of the house library. It was during this phase that Eden developed his cruel calculating personality, gradually learning to mask such whims behind a mask of sickly kindness in oder to manipulate others to the best of his ability. This uneventful existence continued until he was fifteen, when Eden was finally taken to meet his dying father within a guarded structure deep beneath a neighbouring field.

It was there that Eden learnt of his destiny, as the heir to the Kasratu bloodline, a destiny that would prove to shape him into a figure much like his own fractured father. It was revealed to him that Dalance was the leader of a secret organisation titled the 'Free Psych Army', a group of likeminded fanatics who deemed it fit to eradicate all traces of chaos from the world, even at the cost of its people. Over the course of Dalance's life, under the spiritual guidance of an ancient harmonic artefact, the group had laid the foundations of a plan to cease the very planet's orbit. Through this method, his father's insane notations announced, half the world would be scorched to nought whilst the other half would freeze and die. Life would be removed from the world, thus any scope for the creation of chaos would also perish. It was to be Dalance's ultimate solution - a task that would accomplish the artefact's plea for a world without chaos.

The group had researched methods to achieve their goal over a lengthy partnership, settling on a method involving the use of numerous artefacts from across the planet, coupled with god-like gravitational alteration. The foundations had been set, plans drawn, leaving the actual instigation to Eden himself.

Alongside this colossal, insane responsibility, Eden's father also bequeathed to him the artefact that had ruled his life - a harmonic pendant. Eden took the pendant begrudgingly, alongside his father's collective studies on the matter of mass extinction - though he found little logic in the mad scribblings that his father had amassed.

It would seem that the Free Psych Army's legacy would end there, as would Dalance's cruel plots, however this was not the case. As time passed, Eden found himself becoming more and more intrigued by the writings, the pendant's influence finally starting to affect him - he had worn it out of guilt. Under its power, Eden saw the logic within his father's plans, the necessity for the eradication of chaos.

Finally, as the pendant's influence overwhelmed him completely, Eden decided to act out his father's plans - to establish a new order of the Free Psych Army and create an undying state of world harmony - across a silent, dead planet.

But first, he would have to make himself known as a leader - prove himself to be a powerful individual capable of changing the world...

ORIGIN- In order to prove his power, Eden decided to 'purify' the ranks of the Order, by eradicating them. Through this, he sought to both develop a legacy and find suitable members for his new order.

OTHER - In all honesty, Eden's doomsday plans are little more than insanity - it is doubtful that he could ever truly manage to come close to halting the turning of the planet, much less achieve it.

I notice you picked Ari as your region of origin, anything specifically why? I can go into detail of the countries there if you would like, but given that Ari (specifically the Rabari nation) is fairly liberal and accepting a lot of cultures have known to call it home. It also doesn't hurt that it's the home of the best universities in the world, as well as a martial arts hub-- so it is sort of a high quality melting pot of sorts.

Though with your last name (which is derived of asian descent?) that does thin out some heritage choices (kataloni, salasi, ludosi, hanshi, longzhi, sunako, tanuka) that I could help you with if you so desired.
