Desaius, too, chuckled at the little one's fear of the big bad ol' elders. Although coming from a child, it almost felt good to be feared. At a time in his prime, he'd been quite a hunter and even killed a few rival pack members. In his youth, he even boasted about how he'd gotten into a fight with a Tiger. Claimed he had killed it but in truth only seriously injured the poor cat, however it got him fairly well, too. That's where most of his current pains of today came from, besides nearly being crippled as a pup. Looking to Anum, Desaius lowered his head and raised his rear in the air in a play-bow, flashing a wolfy grin towards the youngin'. "It's okay. I'd be afraid of me too, if I was you." Desaius knew he hadn't been the friendliest, or most impressionable of wolves in the years before, but secretly hoped to turn that around. The years he'd spent bitter and angry towards the very pack that took him in weren't really ill feelings towards them, it was towards himself but he never knew how to show that emotion properly. In his old age, he'd come to much more of an understanding of what he thought of his pack in his youth. He'd spent the years mad at them for not hating him like they should have. He'd been from an enemy pack, and the Alphas being who they were, had lovingly taken the young pup in. What made his frustrations worse was when he wasn't picked to be Alpha although he was the adopted son of the Alphas, but Reaver had been picked to be their successor. Even though Desaius had since come to terms with it all, he still didn't much care for the Alpha. Desaius almost dared Reaver quite a number of times to do something about his rebellious behaviors, but instead he'd just let him go. Thinking about the whole situation in that moment caused Desaius to stop, his smile slowly fading as he half stood and looked towards Zoru, then at Lila. "Has anyone seen Reaver? Haven't seen the bugger in quite a while. Not since morning call."

@GhostWingAleu smiled Kita's way before disappearing in the trees, letting her feet take her across the lands she knew as home. She managed to make it back to the pond where she'd taken the pups for a morning drink and crossed the distance around to the side she'd seen the male from before. Her nose sunk to the ground and she inhaled his feint scent deeply into her nostrils, Aleu's tail gently waving back and forth. Following the trail, it didn't take her long to spot the white male laying down in the grass. Aleu stood a few yards away to watch him cautiously, her ears perked high on her head and her tail gently curved down in a happy, but submissive position. Her head tilted at his words, the tip of her tail moving just slightly. 'He's quite the handsome devil, I'll give him that,' she thought to herself.
Once the goat was placed safely on the ground, Kai looked around but couldn't see either Cahira nor Reaver anywhere, overhearing Desaius asking about them as well. Looking at Chincf, he sat down and gestured towards the goat with a respectful grin. "You and your queen have first dibs, it seems."

Shadow opened her mouth to start announcing the feast that would commence in moments, but as always, Chincf beat her to the punch. She let out a deep sigh mixed with a slight laugh, turning away from the goat to walk to the den's entrance, hopping up on the top of it where she'd been before the hunting party got together this morning. Taking her place looking out over the whole clearing, Shadow decided to close her eyes for a few and rest before she went out hunting again, alone with Opal. Shadow was always ready to hunt, but after going so long without too decent a meal and how much energy she'd put into the hunt that just came to an end.. she deserved a 5 minute rest period. It wasn't her turn to eat, anyway. Having overheard Desaius and Kai, it dawned on her that Cahira and Reaver hadn't been around since morning call. Shadow shrugged off the thought and had it in her mind that it meant more for the rest of the pack, and a faster wait time till she herself got to chow down on a decent meal.
