Old Harbor: Long past since its age of glory as the size of ships have gotten so big that the old bridges block the way, now only small ships use the pier, the buildings slowly being reconverted as industrial storage or factories.

The Industrial Park: At first turned toward the great lake to sent out its shipments across the world, now turned inward toward the train tracks. Business is doing alright despite the unions protesting for every reason possible.

The Slum: The view greeting people at the main road entering the city is a rather grim one as these lands that have yet to see takers have been host to the destitutes of the city living in shacks while they work on bettering their lives.

Is this the kind of division you're looking for on the map? I can make a quick work if this satisfies you but I won't name all the streets as that would be far too ridiculously long.

@Wernher I believe that GM said it waas going to be a fictional city that we choose the setup of.

@Wernher that's just about perfect, although it would be useful if you could name at least some of the major roads and railway lines.

As for the Seventh-Day Adventists, my grandmother is one and I remember many stories from childhood about the Prophets of Israel (particularly the Book of Daniel), as well as practices more akin to the beliefs of early Jewish Christians (namely the Sabbath day being Saturday). I presume you're correct in suggesting that there are aspects of their denomination that are more in line with Old Testament writings.

I will crank out a CS and carve up some territory in the next few hours for review by the GM. Thinking of a Jewish outfit coincidentally.

To add to this: if this city of yours is as much like Chicago as is supposedly being claimed then it's proper to note that for Chicago the biggest historical demographics have been the Polish, and the Germans. The Germans too maintained a strong presence in Chicago up through the end and the after math of the First World War when claiming German heritage was unpopular; but Germans such as the Volga Germans were a powerful presence in Chicago despite. And Chicago through the beginning of the 20th century had the highest population of ethnic Poles outside of Warsaw, Poland. Other populations include the Scandinavians.

@Dinh AaronMk And my guys are going to have been a small Irish family that was a part of one of the larger Irish mafia who disagreed with the ones in control of their group so they got away and hitailed it to this fictional city.

@Wernher My only thing is that my preference would be to have my group have a headquarters at least somewhat close to the police station. I I can't really think of anything I could add to the making of the locations and such.

Alright, I have time to work on the map BUT! 3 days of inactivity is making me suspicious... why don't those who have expressed interest tell me each one thing they'd like to see in the city, to see if this is still alive or not?
