@Feisty-PantsI've got an Alolan Ninetails! I was hgoing to name them Vix, but they turned out to be male, so he was named Vince instead(seemed a likely namwe for a genderbent Vix).

Lol! I'm honored. Though Ice Type is just terrible.

Ice type has pretty good stats (not to mention some of the best moves in the game), it just needs more resistances than it has.

Okay, I have a picture I can use for an Alolan Vulpix/Ninetails. Likely to be my 2nd Pokemon CS though.

@Saltwater ThiefIf it was possible, I'd use the Buff Bug Ultrabeast as my Second Gijinka. The personality I'm giving the one I have is just so funny. I think I'm actually going to attempt drawing my favorite mons as Gijinka's once I find the time, since I already have ideas for them. Was planning on doing Character sheets for them, anyway, for no other reason than it seems fun, and I already have so many personalities in my head.

For Example, Sylveon(or Syl for short) is cocky as hell, knows he's one of the core team members and likes to let everyone know it. He's also a very, very sour loser. Like, whenever he faints and I get him back yup with a revive, I send him in so he can straight murder whoever or whatever killed him, if viable. If not, he'll settle for taking vengeance on their teammates.

Funny that you bring that up, actually. Seth's Dad is basically the summation of all my Player Characters from the actual games, and his primary mons are based on my Big 4 from Alpha Sapphire when I got really into the competitive side (I've used him a couple times before in previous Pokemon RPs, which is why I have a lot of his backstory filled out like this).

Celes (who you've already seen) is the Gardevoir, she's basically the Team Mom. Kind, caring, sweet as can be... but Arceus have mercy on anybody who hurts her family; she will not.

Auron is his Metagross, he's a Reinhardt-style combat junkie. Goes in, stands there, dares his opponent to hit him while he just sharpens his claws. Then, when they do and he (usually) lives, he smiles and then smashes them into the ground right in front of him.

Squall is his Greninja. Quiet, stoic, doesn't really talk much. Gets out, surveys his opponent, then takes them out as quickly and efficiently as possible. Does dabble in Haiku though, very much like Zer0 in Borderlands.

And last is Rydia, his Altaria. She's pretty much the glue of the team, holds everyone together by being friends with the lot and is all smiles and fluff all the time. But she's also the Anchor and she holds the team's Mega Stone, both for a VERY good reason.

I have yet to try a Nuzlocke challenge. I don't know which version of the games to do it for. It sounds like fun (Also painful).

There is one pokemon that I do remember rather fondly, if only because of the strangeness that came with it. I was either playing Heart Gold or White 2 and one of the early pokemon I caught was a female Azurill that I named Hinata because her nature was timid. Hinata was a dear but -really- wasn't a good fighter, barely able to survive attacks from other pokemon and didn't really have the strength behind her blows to be a proper glass cannon so she was traded out for other pokemon often.

Then she evolved into a Marill... a male Marill. I didn't notice the difference at first and it was only when I was looking closing at Hintat's information for some reason (I was looking at the information for all my team at the time) that I was surprised to find that she was now a he (This is something that happens sometimes in games before Generation VI due to a gender coding error when Azurill evolves. There is a 1/3 chance that a female Azurill will evolve into a male Marill. Didn't know it at the time through).

Hinata's name remained Hinata because it was still early game and I didn't know where the name changer guy was (Honestly it also felt wrong to change Hinata's name at that point). Now, Hinata as a Marill was somewhat better fighter then back when he was a Azurill because he could take a hit or two, but still wasn't anything to write home about.

Then Hinata evolved into a Azumarill. Suddenly Hinata was the freaking party tank; Just about everything that wasn't lightning or coming from a pokemon that was several levels stronger then him just bounced off and did very little and Hinata finally had some bite behind his attacks to take full advantage of it.

And through it all, I viewed Hinata as this transgendered little pokemon that started off all shy and afraid... but with love and support grew into an absolutely powerhouse after being confident enough to be who he was, even if it wasn't as the gender he was born with. I was so proud of him...

In the end Hinata ended up going into the PC because I wanted to train other pokemon and get their pokedex information but he has always been my favorite pokemon ever.

@Bright_OpsThat's an neat little tale that would make an awesome story. Like, holy hell, that works out too perfectly from a story-telling perspective.

I also realize that I barely remember my OR and Y teams, barring a few individual pokemon, but still can remember the whole of my White 2 Team, and theirmade up personality traits. I really got attached to that team.

P.S.:If you have a Space to plavce your pomemon, totally do a Nuzelocke. Any game except for ORAS(just didn't work for me when I tried it) would be good for a Nuzlocke, thoygh Sun and Moon could definitely lead to some deaths if you aren't careful. Well, more than usual in a Nuzelocke, since it's a bit more challenging than the last few games.

I assume you know all the rules, yes?

Edit:Favorite part about Nuzelocke is using pokemon you never would have before and finding yourself loving them (I took a Beautifly all the way to the Elite Four and kicked major ass with it in my Y game.)

I have one that I remember very well. It was my Venusaur from WAAAAAAAY back in Blue Version. Now, this was first time territory; I was like 6 or 7. And like many kids, I only ever used my Bulbasaur. Nobody else. The result was that, at the end of the game, I had a Lv 84 Venusaur... and my next highest was a Lv 44 Machoke I caught in Victory Road. So, I get to the Elite 4, start busting through. Do just fine, Venusaur can handle it, get through Lance and into the final battle with Blue.

Now, I'm still a little kid. A pretty smart kid, but I lack a lot of common sense and piecing things together. I knew what PP was; it was the cap on number of times you could use a given move. But I never ran out of PP between Pokemon Centers, so the idea that I would ever bottom out on it was inconceivable. Until it actually happened a third of the way into Blue's Team. I may have had Ethers and Elixers; I probably did, actually. But I didn't know what they did, so I didnt use them.

The result? Venusaur Struggled his way through Blue's remaining 4 Pokemon. One of which was his big, bad Charizard. All of them, with some help from healing items in between, but he did it. Didn't fall once. And it was glorious.

The other one was my brave little Zigzagoon in original Sapphire. I'm fighting Norman- aka Dad, the 5th Gym Leader. Again, I've mostly leveled the starter and not much else (wasn't until Diamond that I finally learned my lesson). Sceptile gets through the first Slaking and the Vigoroth, then gets taken out by the second, stronger Slaking. Who then proceeds to tear through the rest of my team until I'm just left with this one little Zigzagoon at level 4 that I had for dungeon escapes because I was unaware of the usefulness of Escape Ropes. I figure "What the hell, may as well try..."

Slaking took his turn off.
I used Dig.
Slaking swung- and missed.
Zigzagoon hit him.
Slaking took his turn off.
I used Dig.
Slaking swung and missed.
Zigzagoon hit him.
Slaking took his turn off.
I used Dig.

And this repeated for GOD only knows how long, until finally this little Racoon That Could grinded down a giant mon over 10x his level and won me the badge. And he then shot straight to about Level 16 or so.

Haven't gotten Moon or Sun yet so I couldn't tell you. Never played OR or AS either.

Might restart my X game through as a Nuzelocke... The basic rules are that if a pokemon faints, it's dead and you can only capture the first pokemon that you encounter in ever zone, right?

@Saltwater Thief

Is it strange that through the whole process, I could picture your Zigzagoon just screaming their head off? Just completely aware of how outclassed is and how boned it would be if it gets hit even once... Alongside muffled screaming coming from under the ground.

@Bright_OpsYeah, with side rules of nicknaming every mon you catch and no using legendaries. Additions to catch rule is that if you see a Shiny, you may catch it, and that if you run into duplicates, you get three tries in total to find a new mon.

Edit: X and Y make god Nuzlockes.waa goung to write a Fanfiction for my Y play through, and actually got some of the intro written. Unfortunately, one bad stint of dialogue killed that story. If anyones intetested to read what I came up with, I could post a link later

I wasnt much of a pokemon fan as a kid. Never had the games and the anime wasnt too interesting to me. Well I only liked Sceptile. It was recently because of a good lp, doing some nuzlockes with such a good entertaining moments that he made me interested in pokemon. The only nuzlocke I completed was for the fan game pokemon uranium. I won it, but all but Brandt (fire type with mega evolution) died. It all started in the second round of the finals. My Metal/Physic type Asimov was taken out by a fairy/ice type with sheer cold.

It made me devastated. In third round the fire trainer had a quick pokemon with contrary as its abilty and used overheat. He nearly swept me with it. I was sure I lost but then Brand came and his anger swept him. Using only one move a priority fire attack. ANd all on of the pokemon of the next trainer. And the legendary, and the final boss as well. It all was a no items battle. Brandt made me a champion with only 10 hit points left, for sake of his fallen friends. When I lost hope he didnt. Then I turned the nuzlocke off the moment the professor offered me the option. I simply could not, not get my team back.

Anyway, I plan to have a ice type as my second pokemon as well. Mostly because the evolution will be sooooo freaking funny to rp. Vix is shocked with getting curves, well I plan to top that. I was debating if I shall choose a pokemon that evolves by trading. It would give a good chance to rp why it evolves when given away to another trainer, but I decided on the shock factor rather.

@Raijinslayer Ah well I got it while it was a beta and update it before it was taken down. Now the server for wonder trading and such are handled by the fans. Basicly here reddit.com/r/pokemonuranium/comments/5..

And yes it was intense. And the story is good and the rival is amazing by the end. XD
