This roleplay was inspired by The Rise of Domrius, one of my favorite roleplays of all time. It will be almost identical, with a few changes (most notably my own characters and setting).

The premise is simple. A great general has risen in the west, and his name is Scipius. He marches his legions to Charon Pass, which serves as the only possible route through the Charon Mountains. It will take some time before the eastern nations can muster the full strength of their armies, so they have sent small detachments to Charon Pass in an attempt to stall Scipius' legions. Ultimately, Scipius will prove victorious, but the Allies must hold out for as long as possible to ensure the east can mobilize an effective response to Scipius.

Everyone will create a character and will be in charge of up to 500 soldiers. Your character and their background, as well as the composition of their army, will be decided by you. However, you should keep in mind this takes place in an ancient setting, so you should take inspiration from Ancient Greece, the Persian Empire, Ancient Egypt, Celtic and Germanic tribes, etc. Scipius and his legions are analogous to the Roman Republic, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't shy away from having a Roman-themed character and army; I will accept any Antiquity-themed character and army. Magic is not allowed.

The RP is divided into two main phases. The first is the Camp Phase, wherein you and your allies will convene at the strategy tent and listen to your scouts' information. Next, you can discuss potential strategies and tactics. Finally, you will elect a Grand Commander, who officially decides how to fight the battle.

The second phase is the Battle Phase, where the Allied army will deploy against Scipius' legions according to the Grand Commander's orders. The Allied commanders must fight off Scipius' army to the best of their ability. After each battle, the Allies will suffer casualties, and receive fatigue and morale penalties (which affect future casualties and fighting efficiency).

You will need to give a good description of your soldiers. What kind of armor they wear, their weapons, their training, their purpose, etc.
