While his brother is sturdy and broad shouldered, Caleb is thin and clumsy, bumbling around school like his sense of balance is permanently broken. He's got shaggy, dark blonde hair, and intense, blue eyes that he keeps permanently diverted from people's faces. He dresses as reserved as he can, straying away from the bright colors that his brother prefers, and drifting more towards blacks, grays, olives and beige. He has a pretty wicked scar near his belly button from when his brother accidentally hooked him on a camping trip with their father.

|| PERSONALITY ||Caleb is a wallflower, that much is obvious to anyone who knows him. He's incredibly intelligent, smart, and caring, a loyal friend through and through. However, as smart as he is, he's just as shy around just about everyone, totally and completely hopeless when interacting with strangers. He's the kid who stumbles over his words during a presentation, the one who prefers to keep his head down instead of cracking jokes in class. He's also incredibly sensitive, as his friends know, and the way he pushes his feelings down, he'll take small offenses and let them build, until suddenly he blows up, and you don't understand why he refuses to speak to you. Despite his awkwardness and his perhaps, over the top sensitivity, both these things make him a whiz behind the camera, and his creative mind has made him quite the aspiring photographer/filmmaker/author.

The McKinnon house is located in the nicer part of Delbrook, surrounded by many homes that all look very similar. The walkway to the front door is lined with hydrangeas, Lucy McKinnon's favorite flower, and the lawn is kept clean. In fact, James McKinnon can't stand an overgrown lawn, and Jacob or Caleb often have to mow it for chores. The house has five bedrooms, so each boy get's their own, while a guest room is reserved for visiting relatives and another is used as a game room. The game room is for when the boys have friends over, and is far enough away from their parent's room that they won't be awoken by late night shenanigans.

A Knowledge Known No Other Way
Caleb has always been the second twin. Sure, he may have been born first, but when people introduce them, they're "Jacob and Caleb," not "Caleb and Jacob." From their toddler years, it was like this. Caleb never took to sports like his brother, and it was clear that he wasn't going to. Their little league team was a bit of a disaster thanks to Caleb constantly throwing a fit every time he had to play. The younger Caleb took more to academic pursuits. He adored reading, and writing, and his teacher's always praised him as a great student.
As the twins grew, their differences became more pronounced, although they're still incredibly close. But while Jacob is a star soccer player, Caleb is an artist. While Jacob is the most popular boy in their class and has had three girlfriends already (although Caleb doesn't really count the first two) Caleb hasn't even had his first kiss.
