But I feel we do need the weapon situation cleared up, after all Annelise has whacked out full tilt weaponry and is repairing it on the table casually. Feel it would be difficult for her to do that if her shizz was confiscated upon entry.

That or we can just ignore and smooth over that inconsistency and say she did it another time or something. Whatever works for me.

The weapon thing goes back to some earlier posts, where dallen had his weapons taken at the shark club. Then Frank came in and shot the dartboard. So then for sake of realism I corrected it to where they only took weapons at the poker table. If anyone messes with your gun cleaning gatto, I will beat them up.

On a side note, im picturing Brooks as ed harris lol.

Reno doesn't have anywhere near the same level of security that New Vegas does due to the Securitron's and such and the town is obviously a very volatile, dangerous place where a lot of people have enemies so I don't see willingly disarming that often being the norm. Maybe a handgun/sidearm only policy? That might be a nice compromise, I think certain illegal establishments in conflict zones in real life have that policy too, so it's not too unrealistic. At least if some brothel in Kabul I remember reading about is anything to go by... Though that was a long time ago. T'was quite possibly in a work of fiction... Still, it works.

Yeah sorry, I'll get on that now. Had quite a hectic and draining day between assignment deadlines and my guild disbanding.

I'm gonna start typing now, and hopefully I'll have something finished pretty soon. If not tonight, I'll get it up tomorrow morning.

Where I don't see New Reno as some kind of failed state with the same living conditions as Somalia, there is a very real sense of peace that the Dons and Donna keep over the people. Gangs like the Deathless probably stir things up a little, but for the sake of business, no one really seeks to step on eachother's toes, and the rule of law in New Reno is a bullet to the head from a cleaner contracted by one of the Families. It's still a tenuous peace, but it works. Everyone carries a gun, and our characters, what with their rampant violence, are the exception to the citizens of New Reno. 90% of the population's guns are small and are only for self defense, so no one wants or cares to bother them about it, I guess.

Grim's retcon to only have the guards pat you down further in the casino could be extended to places the Dons and Donna reside. The guards outside their offices or homes, probably. Mancini's doorman, in the instant that two known cleaners arrived, could've just brushed off their weapons as tools of the trade. Mancini said nothing about taking their weapons away, probably, and they were told a day in advance that Redding was coming and it seems that everyone in New Reno trusts Redding to not upset the balance of power in New Reno, for the sake of keeping business for himself good and steady. Not to mention Mancini's guards are probably only at half-strength in his apartment complex.

Speaking of which, Redding definitely did not have decapitation on his mind. Now, the two have to hope that the Donna is a merciful one. I like this bit of a wrench in the cogs in Redding's plans. It isn't out-of-character for either character and they'll have to adapt to the new sense of risk this presents.

Hmm. Well just like in the game, I was basing off what you can and cant sneak into the casinos depending on your characters sneak. Abigail for example has switch-blade/knuckleduster hidden on her since she's more proficient at it. Brooks on the other hand can't hide his weaponry for shit.

Besides, Abigail and Brooks are pretty much nobodies in New Reno, and no one in their right mind would let people they've never seen or heard of before waltz around in their casinos packed with rifles and shotguns.

Yeah, I suppose all of that makes sense.

The 'pros' around New Reno aren't questioned so much. Just the newer meat packing anything really. Possibly Annelise was with Dallen, so no-one said anything?
