Mitzuki Manor

Welcome to the Manor!

The manor is a very large estate with many rooms, a very large dining hall (or two), a three story library and many other amenities. The manor is home to the mysterious and beautiful Fiona Mitzuki as it's only permanent resident. She recently opened the manor to guests to stay for as long as they please. There is never a staff to be found but the manor and every room in it is exceptionally clean while all meals are hot and ready at there scheduled times.

Breakfast is served between 7 and 9, lunch from 11-1 and dinner precisely at 7. The dining hall door will be locked if you are late.

Anyone is welcome at the manor, you may stay as long as you wish in any room you wish. You may or may not ever see the mistress but the home and grounds are free to explore. Be weary of trap doors, stairs to closed off ceilings and doors on various floors that open to the outdoor air. The grounds in front are covered by a thick wood.

Here are some of the rooms and facilities on the property. Note that these are not the only facilities and that there is no map or directions on how to get to any of these facilities.

Welcome home!

It was about noon on a warm and sunny day and the doors to Mitzuki Manor had finally opened. Through the entrance was a grand entryway with a wide flight of stairs leading to the second floor where the guest rooms were kept. To the right of the entry way was a dining hall with a large fireplace on one end and a buffet table along the back wall, some light snakes and drink were prepared and displayed on top of it. To the left was the library. The rest of the Manor wasn't labelled. Who knows what rooms and mysteries would lye in the home.

The smell in the home was of freshly brewed tea, the scent was different to each person and changed each day.

When Reiko passed through the grand entryway and into the great Mitzuki Manor, she wasn't sure what to expect. She cast sweeping glances across the vast space, noting that perhaps she was the first to arrive. A familiar ache in her stomach reminded her that she was hungry.

Let's go look for food! Let's go!

As always, Reiko V2.0 appeared to her without warning and intruded her thoughts.

Don't be silly, that would be rude of us. I don't suppose we ought to find the lady of the manor, first and foremost?

You're the silly one. She's here. She isn't here. You won't find her that easily.

Either way, Reiko figured she had to get rid of her current burden which was her luggage. Upstairs? With tentative steps, she approached the winding stairs.

~Claudia DeFeren~

The sun gleamed across the pearlescent sheen of the cherry red sports car as it drove down the highway stretching beside the vast, endless ocean, all windows rolled down, a catchy melody playing on the radio.

Twas but weeks ago she was invited to the place by an unknown source while she was vacationing in Greece, a strange letter with the invitation slipped beneath the crack of her door at the hotel. She figured it was a love letter from one of the cute maids she took for a night of fun, but a surprise when she opened the envelope to see an invitation to stay at Mitzuki Manor.

The place was quite lovely in the brochure photo, but she had her suspicions. Who would invite her to such a place...and why?

Her time in Santorini was wonderful, but she was ready to move on. Places to go, people to meet, that sort of thing. This manor would be a wonderful place to relax before she continued on her little sightseeing tour of the world.

Her car swerved into the drive and screeched to a halt. She wasn't nsturally the best driver, but when you've lived as long as her, such matters were trivial.

She emerged from the vehicle, her high heels making an audible clack against the pavement of the drive. She was dressed rather simple in a red short sleeved button blouse and a black pencil skirt cut just above her knees. She had on dark sunglasses made by an Italian fashion mogul and a floppy sunhat with a faux pink carnation christening the white ribbon around it.

A smile, devious yet pleasant crossed her luscious ruby lips as she looked up to the magnificent mansion musing, ~"Home sweet home, for now at least."~

Miss Claudia DeFeren had arrived.

The old, rusty pickup truck rumbled down the unpaved stretch of country road that winded through the rolling hills and sprawling vast meadows, kicking up clouds of dust that stung her dry, blood shot eyes.

The black haired girl sat in the back of the truck, a pair of headphones over her ears as she watched the rural country pass her by. The old man driving the rusted hunk of steel was pretty much doing his best to hit every bump and pothole in the dirt road, nearly jarring her teeth out with how much it rocked and rattled. But hey, it was either this or walking, and by now her feet were sore and tired. She guessed Converse Hi-tops weren't the best walking shoes.

It didn't help matters either ttying to brave the open summer heat in a pair of black skinny jeans and her favorite Slipknot shirt...also black.

It had been a long trip, wandering all over with nowhere to go in particular. Meeting alot of cool people, seeing a bunch of cool places, not to mention getting to hear some killer music at a few festivals. Whole lot of fun. Just what she needed to get her mind off things. But now...it was time to go home to Aberdeen.

She had gotten the text from her sister Camilla the other night, around the same time she got that weird invitation to some manor out in the country. Mitzuki Manor it was called.

It was just a few words from Camilla, but enough to bother her all through the night.

From: Cammie Sis
Time: 10:39 PM

"Mom's sick! You need to come home! She misses you!"

Sick...

It wasn't the kind of sick you just slept off, took some medicine for and you'd be alright the next few days...no...

She already knew what was going on. Their mother tried to hide it, saying there was nothing wrong with her. If they tried to ask, she would always get mad and yell at them. But she wasn't stupid. She knew well enough...

Her mom was dying...and she was going home...to say goodbye.

She decided to spend some time at this manor, just to relax, get her head clear. She wasn't too happy going back to that backwoods hellhole, but...this was her only chance to make amends for the past...the reason she ran away.

"Welp, here we are, ma'am!"

The truck stopped just a few feet from the mansion. She hopped out pulling her guitar and her duffel bag out of the back. Really? She still had to walk? She gave the trucker a confused look. The trucker replied. "Sorry ma'am, but I ain't going nowhere near ol' Mitzuki Manor! That place gives me the heebie jeebies! They said it's haunted. Can't imagine why anybody in their right mind would wanna stay there. You be careful now, Miss uh..."

"Evelyn."

"Right." The trucker nodded. "Miss Evelyn. You be careful now."

Evelyn gave the trucker a curt nod. The truck drove away quickly, kicking dirt and grass all in Evelyn's face. Evelyn merely brushed it away with a sigh.

"Haunted huh? Good thing I like talking to dead people."

She looked up at the mansion. Now that she thought about it, it did give her a creepy vibe. Some old mansion out in the middle of nowhere, people being strangely invited, Ev wouldn't be surprised if she walked in on some cannibal feast or a bunch of masked weirdos having an orgy around some goat headed statue with pentagrams and inverted crosses all over the walls.

Neverthelesd, she shrugged. Better than having to pay for a hotel. All she had was her clothes, her phone, and her guitar.

A little boy of no more than 9 or 10 years old stumbled up to the massive estate. His light blond hair was a disaster, sticking out every which way and appearing to not have been washed very recently at all. His green hoodie and brown shorts were dusted with dirt, as if he'd been wandering around the woods for the last day or two... which is exactly what had happened. That, among other things.

Quando tornerò a Firenze, non sono mai riprendendo un aereo. The boy thought, staggering his way up the dirt road. He felt extremely dizzy and exhausted, probably because he hadn't had any water in about 30 hours. On top of that he was hungry, exhausted and ready to just curl up and die. He was never getting back to Florence. He'd never see his father or brothers again. Smettila. Il pessimismo è inutile. He scolded himself mentally. If he just died right here, he'd ensure his eternal separation from what remained of his family. Besides, that mansion up ahead looked highly promising....

The little blond finally made made his way up to the huge front doors of the mansion. A couple of women had already gathered on the front step, their vehicles parked in the drive. The small boy kept his distance, looking up at them and the highly impressive building from the bottom of the steps. It just so happened that he was mostly just trying not to pass out at this point.

Aaren stood by the door of the manor, poring over his collection of horror movies. He counted 21. Good. God help him if this place didn't have a TV. There would be hell to pay. He carefully placed them back in his bag and brushed some dirt off of his Grateful Dead T-shirt. He started muttering to himself. "Do I go in? Or should I stay out, and just wait for some nutjob to welcome me?" He looked around, hoping to find someone who could be of assistance. "Not even any help getting in?" He struggled to carry his bags, gingerly making sure that the bag with his console and DVD player in it wasn't going to fall. "Um, can anyone help me?"

James calmly approached the manner, making a motion for a bird that was sitting on his shoulder to fly away as he did so, though he stopped as he noticed the guy that was struggling with his bags. He couldn't help but frown slightly as he realized that some of those heavier bags probably contained certain modern things like electronics, but he still walked over to him. Might as well be nice to someone else that's staying here. "You look like you could use assistance with those," he said.

Madam Mitzuki came down the hall on the second floor and slowly walked down the stairs. Her masterfully sewn Kimono graced each step as you descended almost giving it the appearance that she was floating.

"Welcome to the manor, my friends!" She said with a warm smile. She walked up to each of her new tenants and handed them a card with directions to their room and an old silver key. To each person you handed a card to she gazed into their eyes for a moment, almost to say she knew them deeply and understood them. "If you would please, help yourselves to any of the food and beverages available in the dining hall." She pointed to the door to everyone's right. "Your bags will be brought to your room if you leave them here. I should like to warn you, electronics often do not work in this home. Please roam the grounds, this is your home too now, no room is off limits."

She stood before them all, "breakfast is served between 7 and 9, lunch from 11-1 and dinner precisely at 7. The dining hall door will be locked if you are late."

She gave a small smile, turned and left the room.

Aaren smiled. "Thanks, but that issue has been resolved, I suppose." He looked around. Alright, find the one who looks like a challenge. He spotted a girl who vaguely reminded him of a corpse. He walked over and smiled. "Electronics thing sucks, huh? I'll be trying my best to be able to watch my horror movies though. My name's Jack. Maybe you could come to watch some with me? When I get it to work, that is. So, what do you say?" He said, a hint of hopefulness in his voice.

Claudia & Evelyn

The woman stood for a moment quietly observing the other arrivals while leaning against the hood of her red sports car. So many interesting people, and there was even a small boy among them. How quaint, she thought. The poor thing, looked like he hadn't eaten in days, or had a bath for that matter.

She glanced over next at the two fine young men helping one another with their luggage, quite expensive luggage, as it was nothing but a bunch of high end electronics, games and movies it seemed. Ah, people and their obsessions with technology these days. The woman considered herself lucky not to be sucked into such an idiotic culture. Besides, she had better ideas for entertainment.

Such an adorable cutie her languid eyes beheld beneath her shades. A peculiar girl with hair white as fresh fallen snow, a pixie-like persona she perceived of the youth. How precious. Claudia couldn't wait to get her hands on that one. Why the lustful thoughts were making her face redder than the dreadful summer heat.

And lastly...there was her.

Don't get her wrong. Claudia thought all women deserved love, but this...creature however, she turned her nose up at. First, she already detested of that awful, horrendous music blaring loud and obnoxiously from her headphones, if you could call it that. And second, just what in Hecate's name was she wearing?! She just had no taste in fashion at all.

Claudia stared at the strange girl from beyond her shades, a condescending gaze of her blue eyes narrowing.

The girl must've caught on she was being watched, because she whirled around shooting Claudia a nasty look.

If looks could kill, Claudia would have been murdered over seven times seventy.

~"Hmph!"~ She turned her nose up at the girl and strolled on into the mansion following the others. She happened to notice out of the corner of her eye the girl...giving her quite the rude finger gesture.

Huffing, she waited, arms crossed, toes impatiently tapping.

Finally the Lady of the manor descended the stairs gracefully after a moment or so. Lo and behold, Claudia nearly fainted upon sering her, swooning on the inside with a pleasant smile curling her lips. She was, without a doubt, the most beautiful woman Claudia had ever beheld. Her face, it was burning hot, even as the lovely maiden handed her her room key with a lingering stare. Claudia guessed she liked what she saw.

~"Thank you, my dear. Your home is quite lovely."~

When the dark haired girl got her room key, she merely shrugged shoving it in her pocket. Claudia glared at her. How rude!

She was disappointed to see Miss Mitzuki leave, but...she did love watching her lovely hips swaying as she walked away. She'd have to get to know their lovely caretaker later on.

As soon as Mitzuki left, Claudia cleared her throat, hoping to gain everyone's attention, ~"Well now, since we'll all be staying here, I believe introductions are in order. I'll go first."~

"Who the fuck asked you?" The dark haired girl muttered.

Claudia shot her a glare and resumed, blushing slightly, ~"Anywho... I am Miss Claudia Lucille Amelie DeFeren. Tis a very long name, yes, so please by all means, call me Claudia. It's a pleasure to meet all of you, sweeties."~ She gave her warmest of smiles to all.

"Claudia Lucille...what? Damn, feel sorry for whoever had to write that birth certificate!" Once again the little goblin interrupted her snickering.

Claudia stared at her venomously, muttering, ~"And who might you be, my little cupcake?"~

"Evelyn....cupcake." Evelyn retorted with equal, if not more sarcasm than the woman.

Claudia sighed shaking her head. A mental note to steer clear of this one.

Evelyn went back to listening to her music, but slipped her phones off again when some guy came up to her, asking if she wanted to watch horror movies. She grinned, her red eyes glowing eager, "Got any good Asian horror?" She replied. Been a while since she watched Ringu or Juon.

The youngest of the group only entered the mansion once the others had. It wasn't like him to be this shy; usually he was a loud and argumentative boy with a lot of odd and strongly-held opinions....

The woman who answered the door spoke only in English. Great. He'd wound up in an English speaking country yet again. He only understood about three-quarters of what she was saying. She invited them inside, then she sasid something about what the food schedule was, something about bags (the kid had none), and something about the limits of the rooms. He was about to ask for some clarification, but the woman just turned around and left.

The little boy growled in frustration, stumbling up the front steps as if he were having trouble keeping his balance. He walked through the doors and only seconds later the whole foyer started to spin with nauseating dizziness. No. No, no no. He thought in a panic, holding his head in his hands as if that would help the spinning sensation and the incessant ringing in his ears. He was going to pass out if he didn't stop himself from doing so, but there wasn't much to be done about it. The ten year old struggled to stay on his feet, holding onto the banister of the stairs to keep himself balanced.

Aaren's grin became even wider. "Wouldn't be a fanatic without it." He said, his obsidian ear piercing glinting in the sun. His red hair was cropped short everywhere but the bangs. His canines were practically filed to a point. "So, Evelyn, shall we go in?" He said, his eyes hovering over her, then almost immediately flicked back to her eyes. He leaned in close. "I think that woman's a whore, by the way. I can practically smell it."

@everyone (LOL)

Good thing she hadn't started on those stairs when the Lady of the Manor arrived (all so suddenly, she might add), in a flourish of graceful steps that rippled the surface of her kimono.

At her appearance, Reiko's ethereal friend was strangely silent.

What's the matter?

There was no response. Reiko V2.0 merely stared at the Lady of the Manor with a cocked head, lips pursed, finger propped beneath her chin. When Madam Mitsuki started handing out the cards, there was a whoosh and a sizzle - Reiko V2.0 disappeared.

Well, that was odd. But no matter, she was long used to her ghostly companion's temperamental behaviour. Reiko V2.0 came and went as she liked, and she had a feeling that Madam Mitsuki would be no different. With a polite smile that reached all the way to her eyes, concealing the feverish excitement and cheeky thoughts that bubbled just below the surface, Reiko received her card and made a brief curtsy to their host, before turning her attention to the guests.

What a. . . glorious collection of people. Some interactions had went underway, but not all of them pleasant, she observed.

Ooooh, they are speciaaaal. All of them, I think, Reiko V2.0 whispered suddenly in her ear.

She swatted at her apparition with an annoyed hand, as though it was a pesky, persistent fly. Oops, she hoped no one saw that.

I don't appreciate you startling me like that.

More importantly, I think kiddo there could use some help. Reiko V2.0 giggled, stuck her tongue out cheekily and dissipated.

"Woah there." Reiko grabbed the boy by the arm and hauled him up before his head could make an unceremonious greeting with the floor.

To everyone else present, Reiko offered them a coy smile. "Shall we all move to the dining hall? I suppose Miss Claudia and myself would like to get acquainted with everyone." She winked at her. "Besides, free food is best food, and this kid here could use some."

The next thing the boy registered was that he was being held upright by someone. Even looking up at the person, he couldn't tell which one of them it was. The room was blurred and spinning in nauseating loops. He couldn't actually see anything of the room or the people in it. Apparently this was what happened to a person when they went almost two full days without water or food.

Fanculo... Thought the little blonde, a word that translated as similar to the English "F bomb". He was still conscious, but felt like he'd black out at any moment. If he had anything in his stomach he probably would have thrown up by now just because of the dizziness. He did his best to steady himself, wanting to tell whoever was holding him up that they could leave, but his throat felt bone dry.

Despite feeling terrible, the boy was mostly preoccupied by trying to figure out what had been handed to him. There was no way he could read the card in his condition, so he just felt around the small metal object, eventually deciding it was most likely a key... probably to his own room. He was surprised that they'd all been invited to stay. Whoever the woman was, her generosity was almost suspicious.

Claudia

Claudia waited for someone else to introduce themselves, hopefully not to be disrupted by that irritable goblin Evelyn, cute name yes. With an expectant smile she merely continued to observe.

Right from the start she had noticed the poor blonde boy was stumbling about as though he were dizzy or ill. He could pass out at any moment, in fact, he was about to as Claudia hopped over to grab him. Thankfully another had noticed the youngling about to make close acquaintance with the floor, and just her luck, it was that adorable Asian girl she was lusting over earlier.

~"Oh my, you poor dear!"~ Claudia cooed kneeling down, resting a hand on his blonde mop in a rather sweet and motherly way. ~"You don't look so good. Are you okay?"~ She tenderly felt of his forehead. No fever. Obviously he was malnourished. Claudia patted the boy's head with a friendly smile then turned to the girl. Ah, such a cute face.

~"Good thing you caught him in time, darling. How very noble of you. I don't suppose you know me already, but I'd love to know your name, sweetie."~ Her smile was a slight sultry as she took off her sunglasses, revealing her dazzling crystal blue eyes.

"Shall we all move to the dining hall? I suppose Miss Claudia and myself would like to get acquainted with everyone." She winked at her. Claudia giggled blushing. "Besides, free food is best food, and this kid here could use some."

~"Right he could, my dear. Shall we?"~ Claudia led the way with a grin. A swanky place like this, the food was bound to be exquisite. Ah but a lovely afternoon meal to Claudia was but the appetizer to the main course, a taste Claudia desired most as she smiled to the snow white beauty.

Evelyn

Unbeknownst to her, the goblin was watching the whole scene through bored, lazy looking eyes, eyes that basically asked the question, What the fuck?

"Yuppers. Day one and she's already trying to get in someone's pants. Hate to see that cunt go through Silent Hill." Evelyn grumbled in agreement with Aaren's offside statement. She bent down to unzip her duffel bag. It was mostly her clothes, band shirts from bands like Slipknot (obviously), some Metallica and other metal bands, a Rob Zombie tank top she slept in, and a black hoodie with a Sigil of Baphomet on the front and In Sorte Diaboli printed on the back. Underneath the pile of clothes she fished out a cigarette and a lighter, clenching it between her lips.

"I'm Ev by the way." Evelyn said lighting up and taking a drag of her cigarette. "Just in case you didn't get that earlier." She smiled wryly to him, but upon noticing his teeth, razor sharp she was a bit flushed. "Ooh~ nice teeth! You gonna bite me with those?" She gave the guy a suggestive look, only to chuckle zipping her bag back up.

"Just fuckin' with ya, man! Let's go!" She smiled snatching up her duffel bag and guitar case. Hopefully this place had a room with some good acoustics so she could shred all day. Well...that and hang out with Aaren, since he was a cool guy off the bat. She digged that obsidian piercing too.

James couldn't help but let out a small sigh as he pocketed his key, following the others into the dining hall. The Claudia woman seemed familiar, as if he'd heard her description somewhere but couldn't quite remember. She was likely one of those few people who the animals and plants actually told him about as a warning or some other reason. Then he blinked. Oh yeah. Now he remembered. He glanced at her as he walked, speaking quietly. "Scarlet harlot..." he said. Well, that was what certain animals referred to her as anyways.

Aaren grinned and whispered so that only she could hear. "Maybe." When she said she was kidding, Aaren almost facepalmed. Oh, shit. She's gonna think I'm weird! Instead, he wiped panic from his face and acted like he was kidding, even though it was obvious he wasn't. He followed her, leaving his bags that had his games, but snatching up his clothes and movie case with the DVD player. "I hope this place has some good mashed potatoes," He said, "And some gravy wouldn't hurt."

The Dining Hall

As everyone entered the dining hall the long buffet table was filled with food. There were 15 different types of cheese, displays of apples of many verities, honey chicken, honey yoghurt and honey bread, mashed potatoes with 5 different choices of gravy and a large plate of tomato and avocado sandwiches with gouda and light mayo on wheat bread cut into perfect squares. At the far end of the table were pastries and cookies while at the near end were sparkling juices, water, milk and iced tea.

Everything was set as if it had just arrived, food was steaming and fresh but, there was no staff to be seen. The stack of plates at the end of the table had a small card on top saying Please leave your dishes on the table when you're finished. Next to it were napkins and tableware all seemed new and polished, all were of the highest quality.

~Claudia

~"Beg your pardon?"~ Claudia spoke rather lowly with a displeased look as she turned to meet the young man who insulted her. The nerve of him. ~"If you would, my dear boy, please do hold that idle tongue of yours."~ Her voice was calm, serene, as was the cheeky smirk she issued to him, but her words were laden with an underlying hostility.

Claudia was many things, but a harlot? Indeed not. So what if she collected lovers like immature schoolboys collected baseball cards or what have you? That was her own business. As far as her beliefs, love was meant to be shared, not cloistered. If that labeled her a harlot, then so be it, but she would not tolerate anyone calling her such in public lieu of all.

Evelyn

"Eh, as long as it ain't beef gravy." Evelyn shrugged. She stretched and yawned upon entering the dining hall. There could not have been a sight more pleasing to the eyes than the cornucopia of delicious foods laid out before them. Such bright, eye catching colors, such delectable smells.

Everything you could think of was right there, from mouthwatering smoked meats and cheeses of every variety to fresh fruits and crisp veggies, not to mention a scrumptious assortment of sweets and confectionaries.

It was all to pleasing to the eyes and the stomach, and yet....Evelyn didn't have much of an appetite.

This was...weird. There were no servers, no staff. Also, where the hell was the weird chick who owned the place? She shuffled over to the table picking a sandwich from the elegant silver platter. She sniffed of it, her eyebrow raising.

"Tomato and....avocado? What the fuck?" Evelyn whispered to herself. There was a pit in her stomach, a nauseous feeling. She scooted over to Aaren, a puzzled and concerned look in her eyes.

"Dude...do you think we're in our own version of The Shining?

Reiko beamed at a deliciously-tall honey fountain with eyes that screamed: SO. MUCH. WANT. To hell with a proper lunch, if desserts were available - of course it should be consumed first. With an enthusiastic gait, she circled around the grand buffet table and began loading her plate with the sugary foodstuffs.

When she was done, she eyed her plate with a thoughtful gaze. Hmmm, seems like there was enough on her plate to give her diabetes for a lifetime. Well, no matter. Life was too short to waste on thoughts about death. However, she did notice that the last chocolate eclair she had loaded onto the plate was dancing precariously above two others of its kind. Her eyes scanned the dining hall, and she spotted the voluptuous, curved figure of Claudia.

She waved to catch her attention.

"Katsumura Reiko," she smiled, before tossing her the eclair on the top of her pile. Welp, she hoped Miss Claudia had good enough of a reflex to catch it - otherwise, perhaps her blossomed chest could catch the eclair for her.

Chattering noises arose, a few feet away from her. One sounded particularly cynical. Reiko could guess whose voice it belonged to.

Ain't she a ray of sunshine? Reiko V2.0 looked pointedly at the dark-haired, depressing-looking girl who called herself Evelyn.

Reiko's fingers twitched. The Evelyn girl had established herself very early on as a hot-headed, prickly thing, and Reiko wondered what would happen if she tossed an eclair into her direction. Would there be an ensuing firestorm, or a torrent of hell's demons come raining down on her? Either way, if Reiko were to introduce herself to the girl, she guessed that unorthodox methods might be necessary - and exciting.

"Hey Evelyn," Reiko called. "Here, have an eclair."

With a deft flick of her wrist, she sent an eclair flying into the girl's direction.

Reiko hoped that she was good at catch, or there would be no blossomed chest to catch that eclair for her.
