I've participated in writing in role-play forums, though not one as diverse and complex as this in terms of subject matter and form.

I draw as a hobby, but I have a passion for writing so I'd like to advance in the career. Any advice you give me would be great.

Any books or anime you'd recommend? I generally like fantasy, historical fiction and nonfiction, sci-fi, and steampunk/cyberpunk, but I also enjoy a little bit of everything if it's interesting enough.

Where's the best place to start here?

um...hm...casual - free if you prefer doing short term-ish RPs, or advanced if you can think of multiple essays per response XD

i do like hero academia anime or fantasy anime in general (can never forget konosuba XD)

and have fun! just look for a forum idea that seems like tons of fun and enjoyment

@Kunai My suggestion for getting better is finding good roleplayers and sticking with them. Read a lot of other roleplays. Find things in the writing that you like and take them, adapt them, see if it works for you.

The best place to start is arguably casual roleplay. But to be sure about it, we'd need to know how you typically write.
