My name is Maverick and I'm new here, so I guess this is all I've really got to go to right now. Uh, there's not much to say about me? I like roleplaying, dogs, and video games. Television doesn't interest me that much, but most of my favourite shows are on Netflix anyway. I'm not really seen as being all that nice because I'm either a) too practical or b) too sarcastic, so take that as you will.
When it comes to roleplaying, I'm more into the casual side of it, but my posts do tend to get a bit lengthy if I have a lot to say. I tend to like adventure, romance, modern, supernatural, slice-of-life, and sci-fi roleplays more than anything else, but I also like some fantasy stuff if it's put together right. I don't really do well with groups, but I'm somewhat open to them; I prefer one-on-one roleplays more often than not. Short-term roleplays are my favourites as my attention span can't really keep up with the longer ones, but if they're really catchy, then I can definitely tolerate long-term roleplays for a little bit. I like posts to be detailed, but not full of prose unless it's absolutely necessary; long posts are okay, but like I said, my attention span is awful and I don't really like writing them all that much. I absolutely can, however, if it's a requirement, but I don't usually enjoy my time when it's spent writing a thirty paragraph post that's just me describing how my character is sitting in a chair. Lengthy replies are good, but only in certain situations; same for short replies. It's all context varying for me.
Uhhh, I think that about covers it. The only really interesting thing (to me) that I have to say now is that my username is from one of my favourite games, and even then it's not really that interesting; the game is cool, but also frustratingly difficult for me, so there's that... Props to you if you're able to recognise the context. And, yeah, I know septentrion is an actual word, but the username itself, to me, is a lot better if you know the context.
That's really all I have to say. This is how I'm going to end off this post. With absolutely nothing. Because I have no idea how to end off anything, really. Whoops.
