Hey there. Hi. *Waves awkwardly*. So recently all my Rp's died a horrible and tragic death and now I guess I need some new partners in order to satiate that ever persistent RP addiction this site appears to have given me. So, I thought I would throw my hat in the ring and see if any of you fine people would like to RP with little ol' moi.
So, I thought I would start with a little about me.
- My name's Luke. I'm a nineteen (twenty in April) year old student from Scotland (I have no idea what time zone that puts me in) but I'm a little nocturnal, so the times I'm online are more than a little erratic. Things are getting a little more hectic in terms of my workload, but if I ever can't reply due to studying, I promise I will tell you in advanced. Also, I'm not really that great of a student, so the chances of that happening are slim.
- I'm a straight dude and therefore I'm more comfortable playing male characters, but I've always wanted to try pushing my limits and trying to RP female characters. I guess I'm happy RPing whatever. I'm also okay with picking up multiple main characters if it would be better for the story.
- I only like playing original characters, canon characters seem too limiting and I find it particularly dull.
- When I used this site back in the day, I would stick to the Free forum, but I've certainly progressed from one-liners. I would probably say I RP on a low-to-mid casual level? I'll try to match whatever my partner writes.
- When it comes to a 1x1 Rp, I always find them to be more interesting if there is a romantic element. Call me your typical 'hopeless romantic' but I like love stories. So, if it is okay with you, I would prefer there to be a romantic element in the RP. However, I don't want this to dominate the story, it should just be there as a side thing.
- I really want a partner who is able to help continue the plots. I get ideas, but I never think them through and I end up getting lost. I really would prefer someone who is able to push me when I get a little lost.
-I can be known to swear like a marine... So if you're easily offended by simple swear-y words, I may not be the best partner for you. that being said, I have limits on how rude I can be. Simple things like racism/sexism are out, unless it is in some way beneficial to character or plot development. I would rather not offend anyone.
If I missed anything, feel free to ask me. I don't mind talking about myself and if there is anything you would like to know before RPing with me, regardless of how weird it may be, I will answer truthfully.
Anyway, so onto the interesting stuff. In terms of plots, I don't... actually... have all that many. Sorry 'bout that. I guess I would just give an outline of fandoms and stuff that I like:
- Pokemon
I am a huge pokemon fan and there is nothing I like more than a pokemon Rp. I prefer to RP as newbie trainers, but if you have a burning desire to play as pokemon, then I'm good with that too. I've been wanting to try a Kalos region RP, ever since X & Y came out, so if you want to do that, I would be more than happy to.
- Sword Art Online
SAO is by far my favourite anime and ever since I watched it, I've wanted to RP it. The premise of the show is an MMORPG that you can't log out of until someone beats the final boss. If you die in game, you die in real life. You don't need to have watched the show (although I recommend it regardless) to RP it, so don't let that put you off. If you think it sounds good, you would make my day if you'd let me RP it.
Those two are the RPs that I would really like to do. There are other fandoms/ideas that I'm happy to RP, but those two are my big-uns. I like them. They make me happeh. Here's the rest of the list:
-The World Ends With You.
-Kingdom Hearts
-Harry Potter
-Supernatural (Although I haven't caught up with the latest season, so careful of spoilers!)
- Generic music stuff, bands etc.
-Modern day Superheroes
- General coming-of-age, crappy indie-film style, Highschool RP's.
