I'll be heading off to sleep soon, but I'm thinking over how much - if any - information about those 'NPCs' I'd want/need to put up if I gave them sheets. I'm mostly planning to put up sheets for the sake of making things more interesting with them, plus pictures are included and such.

I think we're pretty much just waiting for the opening IC post. I don't have too much to say right now unless someone has comments or thoughts regarding something I've brought up or considered. Still contemplating those 'NPC' characters I mentioned, but haven't settled on bringing character sheets over for them yet.

If you're having trouble working out the introduction post, I don't mind putting one together - as stated already - but since you're the one using Cosmos I'm not sure how exactly that'd work. I could have it up within an hour or so if it wasn't for the whole Cosmos issue. Actually could've had it up days ago to be honest with you.

I'll undeniably have other characters and plot elements eventually coming over, but I think - given that we've established that not all the warriors are summoned immediately in this particular cycle, meaning more can come later - that there's no other major things we need to go into yet and the IC can start. When I introduce additional elements into the plot, we'll discuss them here in the OOC, since I doubt they'll contradict anything we write in the IC prior to their appearance.

If you think there's any information I should make clear about things The Emperor has done to the cycle, let me know -- otherwise I'll reveal it as we go. Also, we possibly need three parties with the heroes for now, given how many characters we've got. Presumably the parties are Firion/Kain/Galuf, Terra/Ritz/Layle, and Cecil/Freya. That's unless you want it to just be two groups.

That's a good introduction post -- I like how Cosmos was characterized.

I'll set the motions for the start of the story then, since I'm confident I can create a decent opening for us all. Unless either of you have a problem with the settings I choose, just assume that the characters you intend to party up with mine are summoned somewhere near the respective characters. I'm going under the assumption that this cycle is like the previous ones and that most of the locations are modelled off or manifestations of places from other Final Fantasy worlds.

For the time being, I'll only be posting with the Warriors of Cosmos. Once @Raddum logs back on and decides on an introduction post for Chaos (who is - at least in a decoy sense - the 'Big Bad' of the story) or Marche/Zidane (either of which could be thought of as the reader's eyes on the villain side), I'll start introducing and taking action with my Warriors of Chaos. Until then, I'll assume the narrative is entirely focused on introducing the heroes.

You can expect my post up in the next few hours (I'm multitasking), assuming nothing major interrupts me.

Edit: Post in the IC is done, and a minor addition was made to Terra's character sheet now that I've revealed something. A few problems with my PC resulted in this taking longer than I planned, but I'm happy with it regardless.

No problem. I figured something must've been going on.

Hopefully you both enjoyed my opening post. I wasn't sure if we should introduce any of the villains until we'd introduced all of the heroes, but at the very least I figured I'd wait until your first Chaos post was done before the villains on my side made an appearance.

I'm imagining we only need to 'break up' our posts when the characters involved aren't together, so you might not need to do what I've done with the Warriors of Chaos unless they're not all near each other.

Anyway, I'll be heading out for food, but I'll check in once I'm back.

Still have no idea if we're actually meant to operate under a posting order or not, but depending on what you end up contributing I might write a follow-up post involving my villains before @Gohan does his next post -- assuming he hasn't had time to post a bit after you're done, that is.

Edit: I'm back. Also made a very minor edit to my post -- a single word in one of the sentences didn't feel 'right' to me.

I honestly wasn't sure how long I should've been making my posts, but now that I've noticed yours I feel like I shouldn't hold back.

Admittedly, I wanted to keep it simple mostly for the sake of introduction and since I got my points across well enough, but part of me kept wanting to write more. On my end, it was less being tired, and more that I've had to go the last twenty hours with a PC that's in such bad shape that I can't even use the right click feature (not due to my mouse being a problem, for the record).

I've got only one thing that needs mentioning.

The original idea @Gohan had suggested a while back was for Cosmos to do the initial post under the idea that Chaos had already summoned his warriors beforehand, prior to the role-play starting. The idea was that the contract between Mateus and Marche would also have occurred already. Bringing all of this up now creates certain holes in that timeline, but - honestly - I think the post was put together well and it'd be a shame to just remove it, so I'm contemplating ways to adapt to the situation.

Assuming we're all not bothered by the timeline being a little out of balance, I'll leave the response I plan to post unedited (this is if I manage to finish it before fatigue sends me off to sleep) -- otherwise we'll need to work out a way to solve this dilemma.

At the very least, I see no reason not to put up a response for Cecil given that it won't interrupt the other parties since it's just the two of us there. I'm imagining this is why he's the only one you made contact with. I still don't really know how posting orders work in this site, or if role-plays even have one by default here.

Edit: Feeling really tired after all, so gonna sleep before I contemplate posting. I don't want the quality to lessen.

I was a lot more fatigued yesterday than I realized. I've now noticed that Kefka pointing out Terra is here implies that Chaos summoned his warriors after Cosmos did, which contradicts the original idea that Chaos summoned his warriors first and then Mateus screwed up Cosmos' summoning to scatter all of the Cosmos warriors and prevent them from being in a single place.

Edit: I've decided to post only Cecil's part of my reply for now, since we clearly need to discuss this while Chaos dilemma a bit.

Tired worker-ant reporting in.

If I edit Chaos and Kefka's posts a bit, we could easily shift my sloppy mistake into past tense, and make it so this takes place before anything happening currently on the Cosmos side. Then we can have some introductions and establishments between the Warriors of Chaos before getting them into the present-time. This is mostly just removing any mentioning of Cosmos having taken action already; And Kefka being aware of Terra's presence. Thankfully no total overhaul is needed.

I agree that's the best course of action, especially since I enjoy Chaos' characterization. You can just mention Kefka noticing Terra after we establish the 'flash back' is over.

I don't think there's any need for me to remove Cecil's post either, which was hopefully a decent reply, but I'd either need to edit in my villains to that post or wait for one of you to reply to me. Do you have a preference? I'm imagining I could post my villains now, but I don't know if you want to respond with Freya first or not.
