The little figures slowed their movement, the wind becoming as mild as a gentle summertime breeze. The entire swarm lazily floated along their, twisting around the tent as the boy stuck his head slightly out. Then as one the little figures ascended, then spun down in a swirling dive toward the snow at Shiro's feet. They quickly spun around it, the warmth of the breeze melting it, before a sudden gust flung the water all over him.
The boy made a choking sound as the sprites snaked their way back over to the tent in what somehow managed to come off as a huff. "You wanna start a fight?" The boy said breathlessly. A tiny collection of whispers seemed to carry around on the wind and the boy shook his head and tried to argue.
