Chelle
Information:Name: Chelle Arsenault
Alias(es): Keyholder, Idiot, Xu'Chelle, The Purple Abyss
Age: Late 20s, now ageless
Appearance:Chelle's figure stands at about five-feet, seven-inches off of the ground; a seemingly average height for a being her age, around her late twenties or so. Her physique could be described as a plethora of adjectives such as fit, slim, in-shape, attractive, and even heavenly; her form contains many of the keys that other humans could only dream of having. However fortunately, she keeps her physique under a tight lock as her clothing barely shows any of her flesh, save for her hands. Her clothing persists of a long-sleeved blouse stained by purple, pink, and burgundy, and a long skirt of similar colors; purple with white frills. The blouse is rather form fitting, as it does a stupendous job of showing off her features, be it to the dismay of others or to their enjoyment. The blouse is also accompanied by a dark-pink frill that underlies the base of the blouse, and ends in a large bow that falls to her left side. Her blouse is also accompanied by a garment that sits atop of it, that roughly reflects the blouse itself and appears to cover the top of her chest up to her neck, and it also ends with dark-pink frill that traces the underneath of the cloth. It also ends with a small, hot-pink bow that falls from the cloth's collar just to her bosom. The long-skirt appears to be a bit large compared to her form-fitting top half, and it has white's purity tracing along it in the form of frills as well; it makes her appear as if she's from nobility. The garments could be described as something akin to Victorian wear. Her clothing also serves as a means of dissuasion against her rather attractive form.
Aside from her clothing, one could also clearly see her defining facial features, including her long hair. Her facial features match that of her age, a very soft face that also just adds to the list of things that define her beauty, or at least her character. Her fiery optics often released a glowing hue that would threaten to pierce into the souls of anyone caught within her gaze; also dissuading them from making contact with her. Behind her optics lie an intense hatred and desire that no mere mortal could ever comprehend. Her normally stoic facial expression would also add to this reasoning. Her slightly blonde and silver hair are surprisingly in decent form, her bangs are swept to the sides of her head so some of her forehead can be viewed. She also possessed long locks of hair that goes past her ears and rests cleanly on her bosom, while the rest of her hair is kept in place by a bow atop of her head, followed by a long pony-tail that flows past her back; the bow also matches her purple and pink theme, including the frills. Finally, what can be seen of her flesh, could be described as somewhat pale, yet it lacks noticeable imperfections.
Personality:Prior to the events that lead to the creation of this killing machine, Chelle's personality was actually quite the typical for a young woman that was held away in an isolated kingdom for all of her life; for starters, she was very submissive to her superiors, such as her father. She is also submissive to the ideas that she was subjugated into since birth; a woman has different responsibilities compared to a man. She had to upkeep her image as a perfect follower to her kingdoms rules. As such, she found that taking the path with lease resistance would often lead her to her goals, as she wasn't taught to defend herself... much. She often takes great pride in herself, somewhat contradicting her submissiveness, but likely due to her heritage. Compared to others within the same kingdom, she comes off as socially awkward but down to earth. She also enjoys learning about this heritage of hers as well, as well as learning about the fate of other worlds and such. She enjoys this so much that at times, she leaves her room to just stare at the stars at night, often dreaming of being a bigger part of it as compared to her then-situation. However, she does display some rebel within her as she often escaped their kingdom just to go see a male that easily swooned her, also displaying her naivety; something that could be because of her lack of social experience due to being a "key". Her naivety also leads to her downfall because of how smothered she was by her family, she wasn't able to learn about the enemies that she could face. However, she also displays a strong sense of justice and friendship, displayed when she battled against a Xu'Lu possessed Claus, even thought she was clearly untrained against the veteran Xu'Lu, in order to save him from being possessed.
After Xu'Lu became the host of Chelle's body, the body's personality highly matched that of Xu'Lu's; viscous and battle hungry. Now as Xu'Chelle, in short, her personality often includes being generally power hungry, as now her goal... if you could call Xu'Chelle a her now, is ultimately the amalgamation between herself and Akasha, so no one can best her. Another trait that she gained from Xu'Lu, was its extreme intelligence; due to Xu'Lu's form actually being the conglomeration of souls and ideas, its intelligence could be unmatched by most. Xu'Chelle displays the same intelligence level by easily finding the hidden gates to Akasha as well as learned how to open it, however that did take nearly a decade to perform, albeit nearly doing it by herself. She also uses this intelligence to sharpen her battle skills in order to keep them in fighting form. Prideful about this, she/it often belittles other beings, viewing them as pawns, and even expendable energy. Continuing with its pride, it also often displays its enjoyment in having the body and battle potential of Chelle, claiming that Chelle's body adjusted to Xu'Lu's will even moreso than Chelle herself. However, even though Xu'Chelle is highly boastful of herself, she does maintain respect for those that do have high amounts of power and even the same idea, seen when an alliance was formed not only to help break into Akasha but also to steal the body of Chelle. Xu'Chelle's personality also took some traits from the body's original persona; Xu'Chelle often maintains some type of grace, preferring to keep the appearance of nobility, seen by her attire. Xu'Chelle's real persona leaks out through her battle style. Due to being extremely battle hardened, Xu'Chelle is often ruthless in battle and usually attempts to over power her opponents by using bursts of extreme speed while being close quarters, and can easily take advantage of an opponent's moment of weakness. Over all, Xu'Chelle's personality could easily be described as dark and calm, as she rarely ever loses her cool.
Background:Chelle, of the Phantom Abyss originates from the background of many different ideas and histories that culminate into the "ultimate being." Xu'Chelle, for short, only exists because of the fate that placed into Chelle. Chelle was originally a descendant of an ancient civilization, a civilization that was one with life and death. In ancient times, these humans could enter and exit Akasha at will, due to the King of Akasha willing that life and death be together as well... as opposed to the current stigma that death would be a painful transition into eternal darkness. While the humans were happy to mingle with lost ones, or even deceased beings... the deities of that realm, however, figured that if humans were going to cross into their dimension and taint the sanctity of Akasha, they had better belong there; in short, the deities began a mass slaughtering of the mortals. Eventually, the mortals had to escape and create a gate that could protect them from the corruption of the deities while making sure that no other mortal could cross into that realm. Also, due their exposure in Akasha, these mortals developed their very own special powers that would come to grow as the generations continued on. This civilization came to be known as The City of the Sun, and for generations... each generation would be tasked with making sure that those gates would never come open.
In present time, the civilization is now an underground ruin that was replaced by a kingdom, including its own castle. Like the others, Chelle is tasked with making sure that the secret of the gate never gets out. Yet she is a special being, hand picked by the King of Akasha itself. Unknowingly to Chelle, she was picked to actually be the one to open the gate once again so Akasha and the world of life could connect once again. The upper elders within the Kingdom was aware of her special status, and disappointed that even with the gates closed, Akasha could still reach. This caused Chelle's upbringing to be quite dull and secretive, as she was largely forbidden from partaking in many activities that others took for granted, including leaving the kingdom or the pocket dimension where the kingdom existed.
Xu'Chelle's roots obviously comes from Xu'Lu as well.
Abilities:As the merger between Chelle, the key of Akasha, and Xu'Lu, the battle hardened philosopher's stone, Xu'Chelle has a plethora of abilities that would allow her to get the edge easily in battle.
