I really want one, but I'm locked in internal conflict. Which do I want more: to project human emotions onto a captive animal in order to escape the bitter grasp of my own isolation and fabricate an artificial sense of belonging? Or do I want to keep my leather furniture free of claw marks? Decisions, decisions.

@tyler I have three cats so I may be bias, but I say the claw marks are worth it. My cats go after my carpet more than my furniture. And the stacks of papers.
