Jenso dashed at Mikey, feigning another kick at him. Rather then doing so, a surge of power rushed through him as he suddenly strafed sharp to the right at great speed, waiting to see what Mikey planned to do as he moved to his side. Whichever he intended to do, he did not want to take it head on if it was some kind of attack.

Mikey suddenly coated his right arm in a gauntlet, once again, and attempted to block Jenso's kick, but when he dashed to his right, Mikey was caught off guard, and instinctively, dispelled his gauntlet, and summoned his battle bubble in an instant, trying to push Jenso away.

Jenso's eyes widened as Mikey summoned his battle bubble. 'If he takes to the air again, I might be unable to beat him...It's now or never..!' Jenso thought, channeling the last of his flame powers in his right hand. He launched a flame ball at Mikey and turned his hand, in order to create a flame saw. He hoped he would be able to destroy Mikey's bubble before he would take to the air. Well, if Mikey was still able to do that in his condition.

Mikey's battle bubble began to dissipated as the saw grinded against the edge of his bubble, at which point he focused the entire sphere onto that one spot. The battle bubble's entire premise was to take energy and disperse it against the entire surface area of the bubble, which the saw made impossible to do. But when focusing the water to counter the saw, it was able to slow it down ever so slightly with a wall of water.

Unfortunately, his water's defensive potential was far too low when pitted against the raw heat of Jenso's spinning flame saw, and within a second, it tore through his barrier, and struck Mikey's right shoulder, singing a portion of his arm, and sending him to the ground. Mikey looked up at the sky as the saw tore into the ground of the arena. The crowd, who had been roaring this entire time, drowned out by the battle, went totally silent. Mikey smiled and closed his eyes, falling into a deep sleep while his strength left him.

"... The.. The winner of the semi final's fire round is.. Jenso!!!"

~ Chapter 59 ~

Why Would You Both...

Jenso and Mikey were carried from the field into the tent where the healers sat. By the time they were there, Jenso could notice that Ross was already gone, and they were the only two in the tent. The healing elves took Mikey to one table and began working on his chest, first, despite that fact that nearly all of his injuries took place on his arms, his more potent tools. Truth was, Mikey could have kept going, but without his arms, he couldn't really do much against Jenso. They were what he used to control his water, along with his legs. But his legs were far less in tune. He knew there was no chance beating Jenso without most of his energy, and two disabled arms.

The healers that worked on Jenso put him on a table, and within several minutes, his arms felt good as new, and the people surrounding him looked completely exhausted. His energy returned to him, even if it took quite a while, and he was ready to fight once again. Mikey however, was not. Considering how the two of them took almost the same amount of damage, it was strange.

"Perhaps you should get out there and watch this next fight," The white robed man with black hair from earlier said, "They'll be starting soon.. We figured healing you quickly would be best for your overall chance of success. We here in the healing hut have decided that you are our favorite."

Jenso sat up and smiled at the healers. "I appreciate it, but...make sure everyone else gets plenty of healing as well." Jenso replied, and turned to Mikey. "Amazing fight, Mikey! You really messed me up!" Jenso shouted, with a wide grin on his face as he headed out of the hut. "Thanks for the healing again! See ya!" He shouted. He headed up to a good spot to watch the next fight.

Mikey didn't respond, but the robed man nodded to Jenso and waved him off before returning to Mikey's body. He smiled and shook his head. "You did quite a bit of damage to each other, didn't you?" He muttered to himself, shutting the tent door with a subtle sigh.

As Jenso arrived at the edge of the arena, Rajaka and Zelriane were already in the ring. Rajaka was grabbing his right shoulder and twisting his arm around, stretching about his biceps and triceps, while Zelriane stood calmly with his hands crossed behind his back. The short green-clothed man looked over to Jenso briefly, and then back to his bigger ally.

"Zelriane Versus Rajaka!" The announcer shouted, "Let the battle of these mysterious masked challengers begin!"

The crowd went silent, and the two masked men began walking towards eachother. Zelriane tip-toed forward towards the center of the ring, and Rajaka stomped his way across recklessly. They finally stopped at the center of the arena, and both pulled their hands back.

The crowd didn't breath, they were perfectly still, both preparing an ultimate attack of some sort, or so it seemed. But before they thrust their arms forwards, they spoke to eachother.

"You know your strongest attacks won't even hurt me already, bro," Rajaka whispered.

"I am also aware that, even at your best, you could never lay a finger on me, brother," Zelriane replied, "This is the only way to break the stalemate."

"Feh, not like we came here to fight each-other, anyways. Alright! Let's..."

"Rock"

"Paper!"

"Scissors!"

Jenso blinked at the two masked men as they were doing rock-paper-scissors. He felt somewhat annoyed as it seemed like they didn't take the whole thing seriously, but he prefered that over them possibly destroying the entire arena and threatening civilians. He hoped to learn what both of them would be capable of, but not at the risk of innocent lives.

The two men tied, scissors to scissors. Rajaka grunted, and they tossed again. Once again, rock to rock. the two tied about ten more times, boring the crowd to death, before finally, Rajaka was able to pull a victory over Zelriane. Zelriane smirked under his mask.

"Best two out of three?"

"Forget it!" Rajaka roared, stepping forwards and kicking Zelriane in the stomach. Zelriane simply flew backwards, looking like he wasn't hurt, before stopping himself in midair, just over the edge of the arena, where he landed safely with his hands still crossed. The announcer didn't even speak, but Rajaka looked up and rose his finger towards where Jenso was standing, before pointing his thumb towards the ground with a devilish golden smile.

"There's only one golden boy in this multiverse, chump!" He shouted with a burning yellow ferocity in his eyes. The crowd didn't react, but he immediately turned around and walked off of the stage.

Jenso shrugged as Rajaka walked off the stage, not bothering to respond to the man's call. He wasn't intimidated in the least, especially not after Rajaka and Zelriane's display of rock-paper-scissors. Regardless, he had no intention of underestimating the man. His gaze switched between Rajaka and Zelriane to see if they were trying anything suspicious.

As Jenso eyed the two, Zelriane caught him glancing his way, and shifted his path towards the fiery ki user. His pace was slow, and rather lax, which posed little threat, and showed that Zelriane was oddly content with his surroundings. It was much unlike they way he'd walked when Jenso first saw him, where he had appeared astutely aware of his surroundings, and always on guard. Now, he looked as if he didn't have a care in the world. As he approached Jenso, the details in his mask showed nothing of his actual composure. His hands fell to his sides and he sized Jenso up before offering a slight bow.

"You are the golden boy that Ada spoke of," Zelriane stated, gazing into Jenso's eyes, unblinking, "Yes?"

Jenso's muscles tensed up as Zelriane approached him. He was unsure what the man was about to do, but for some reason it seemed like he wasn't on his guard at all. He kept a close eye on Zelriane's movements as he came close, trying to prepare himself for any move the man might make. He was somewhat surprised when the man offered a slight bow and mentioned that they, or at least Zelriane himself, was aware of who he was. "Yeah...that's me." Jenso stated. He felt uneasy being in the man's presence, but he stopped himself from showing any hostility for now. "So,what are you two going to do now?" Jenso asked, referring to Zelriane himself and Rajaka. He didn't know if the man would even tell him the truth, but he figured he would ask regardless.

"We are here to investigate you," Zelriane announced, "Your exponential growth from what Prisma was privy, to that which you've displayed today, is concerning, and intriguing. We are here to observe, and if necessary, kill you." Zelriane looked over to the arena and nodded silently. "I believe you've met with nearly every member of our family, by now. I'm curious, who do you think we are?"

Jenso glared at Zelriane. "You're the Order of Chaos, a bunch of masked people who are immensely powerful and do whatever they want across multiple dimensions. You kill people either because they get in the way of what you want, or simply because you enjoy it." Jenso stated in a serious tone. He clenched his fists somewhat as he said this, not enjoying those facts at all. "That's all I know."

"Rather crude, but not completely inaccurate. You don't seem fond of our practices," Zelrian quipped, slowly turning away.

"You run around killing whenever you want and nobody can stop you, so no...not really." Jenso said rather bluntly, feeling bad about the whole thing. "I just don't see the point. Prisma killed my entire village, and for what? I'm sure some of you have better reasons to kill people then the others, but I don't like killing in general, even if it's for a good reason."

Zelriane stopped and turned to Jenso. "Ultimately, life has no meaning in this universe, or any other, for that matter. We are all products of the void, and doomed, or blessed, to be returned to her endless expanse when our Ki leaves our bodies and soaks through the fabric of reality, into the darkness betwixt the worlds. But, if you choose to cling to meanings and place value in morality, or any other set of rules, which is what I have done, then I would suggest you use better judgement," Zelriane spoke, disregarding Jenso's morals while also acknowledging their importance.

"Killing is a universal- No, multiversal necessity, one which provides a workaround for far more dire circumstances. Sometimes it is not necessary, like how you spared Ada's life. If you had killed her, this conversation would not be taking place, and you would already be dead. But if you had made that sacrifice, and traded your life for Ada's, you would have saved millions to come from her treacherous behavior. In essence, your cowardice has doomed millions to face the same torture she has bestowed upon you and your people, if not worse," Zelriane explained very clearly. He spoke with a bold tone, and shook his head. "Ada finds joy in torture, and manipulating others, while indulging in her own lust for sexual gratification, and the pain of others. That is why she lost to you, when you hid your pain, and preyed on her insecurities. Prisma seeks entertainment blindly, resorting to widespread malice, rather than methodically picking his targets. He does not enjoy it when people suffer, he simply enjoys the prospect of exterminating life. These two beings are reprehensible, even by my standard, but they have a rigid code of conduct that our master respects, and are more powerful than most because of it." Zelriane stepped closer to Jenso and looked around curiously.

"You are just like us. Gifted. Yet you speak of morality and sin as if you hold some moral high ground over my family. This is your ignorance, boy, and your most powerful limitation. As long as you are held back by such infantile morals, you will remain mortal, and by extension, you will die, and millions after you will suffer for your cowardice. You cannot do everything, nobody can, and that is why me and my family exist. We symbolize what is necessary, and futile. The true nature of the universe is found in our hearts. Our goals, although not in unison morally or rationally, are that which embodies all of reality."

Jenso listened to every one of Zelriane's words, and sighed. "You say that I act like I have a moral high ground over your...family, yet you act as if you have the high ground and that your people are better then me by not having the morals that I do. Pretty hypocritical, don't you think?" Jenso responded to Zelriane, and clenched his fists. Zelriane's words were making him angry, but he did his best to remain calm. "So I'm the reason millions will die, because I spared Ada, huh?" Jenso said with a small smirk. "Don't try to get in my head with your fancy words. If anything, all you've done is prove even more that you're all a bunch of insane murderers. But I'm surprised that you're admitting that you and your family can't do everything, I'll respect you for that." Jenso added, and sighed. "You might see mercy as a weakness, but I see it as a strength. Was I really too weak to finish Ada off, or was I actually strong enough not too?"

"My high ground is not based on morals. It is based on reasoning, that which you so callously disregard for a weakness, one which you desperately hope to be a strength. We are not better than you, no. We are simply stronger, more powerful, and hold weight, which you do not. Your words are hollow- No, flooded with an ignorant farce of heroics and stupidity," Zelriane stated without restraint in his tone. "You were weak. That is all there is to it. Too weak to eliminate a great evil that plagues this multiverse. You had a chance to uproot a vice in our ranks, and spare many from a life of suffering and torture, and you did not. By sparing her, the only thing you've displayed is cowardice and stubbornness. You refuse to change that which you are- A weakling- For the greater good. Your morals hold no height over anyone else's, not because they are wrong, but because you haven't the power or omnipotence to support such grandiose wishes. Stupidity. Ignorance. Naivety. That's all you have, and if Rajaka decides to kill you today, those pitiful traits are all you will be remembered for."

Zelriane rose his hand slowly and revealed a circular tattoo, with two halves, one transparent to reveal his skin, and one white, with a dot in the middle. The ying yang symbol.

"Good cannot exist with evil, but the right morals, are the morals with the most power. It is that simple. And if you are unwilling to take a life, even one as evil as Adarine's, you are weak. That is a fact. There are no ways around it. Continue down that path, and you will die without any impact whatsoever."

Jenso glared at Zelriane. "If you expect me to feel bad for not being a murderer, you're wrong. I'll give Rajaka the best I got, and if he kills me, then that'll be that. I don't intend to go down without a fight." Jenso said with a smirk. "I'm done with this conversation, it doesn't seem like it's going anywhere." Jenso stated, and began to walk off. He didn't want to give in to Zelriane, and did his best to hold his ground. In reality, Zelriane's words did affect him, and he did raise some good points. Was sparing Ada really the right choice? Should he have finished her off, even though she was already defeated? Even though he didn't like killing, could he have saved many lives if he killed her?
