Oh, right, guess I should start posting OOC in here instead of the PMs! So I'll rephrase what I said. Okay so I looked at our characters. they're not the type to travel together or even be friends, but this is also great because they can develop a good friendship over time as they decide to trust each other more! I love doing roleplays like that, but I wonder how they're going to travel together. We may need to come up with something to keep them together?

Yeah I noticed that too... I have an idea that might work...

Have you thought about having Aria your Swablu be a shiny one? Io is an assistant researcher on Regional Variations, and he could make an assumption that Swablu is just that a regional variation and then they stick together, even though... they won't get along at first. I mean, Io would travel for research purposes only, I'd like to think.

I guess that could work, even though I kind of hate shiny altaria's lol I think... Well I haven't divulged into Evian's background yet, but I'm thinking, they're funding his journey (he's a prissy rich kid whatcanyado) so I think this could work: Evian is their only child, and he's in a region all the way away from home, so they arranged with Kukui for Evian to have a partner on his journey until he caught more pokemon. That's where your character comes in. That'll keep them together! And they'll become better friends over time. :3 How is that? Or we can do the shiny swablu thing, whichever you prefer. I honestly don't mind!

That's totally do able! Kukui would totally sign up Io for that and I'm sure he wouldn't say no to the professor, even if he doesn't want to do it at first!

okay so I was thinking, I think it'd be interesting if Evian's parents also paid your character handsomely (he probably needs money to fund his research and his own expenses too, right?) and in return for keeping watch over their son, asked him to make sure that Evian was keeping up to par with battling and catching dragon types. As the two guys work on their friendship (and Evian slowly but surely becomes a good person lolz), I feel like it might add an interesting drama element later on. I just love putting in little betrayals and stuff, makes for interesting scenarios. What do you think?

That'd be interesting. I'm not sure Io would be that willing to take their money for his research, but I'm pretty sure I can figure out a way to fit that in somehow! That would bring an interesting dynamic to the duo!

In the meantime, I'm thinking Evian's going to be doing everything he can to try to lose Io lolol oh this is going to be fun. I also kind of think they should be attacked by a Tapu... like right off the bat, no warning. It could have significance later on or it may not. The Tapu's are described as fickle and 'do whatever they want' pokemon anyways. It'd be fun action to throw them into too. What do you think?

Aight! I'm going to thinking up all sorts of shit for them to get into lol I also made Evian a little younger to match their ages and it makes a little more sense for him to be immature now

sorry if it was a little short! I figure during dialogue and the beginning of the rp, things may be a little shorter. Hope you're not a stickler for post length? but yeah, they should totally get ambushed by Tapu Keku xD maybe they could even throw some pyukumuku's for money lolol. they could get into a little mini tournament, they could get ambushed by some team skull crooks... what do you think?

Anything can happen! Team Skull meet up or Tapu meet up sounds more realistic though right off the bat! xD

And your length is fine! That's what mine would probably be too! Introduction ones are usually longer, that's how I see it!

I was kind of thinking... I kind of want Evian to be like a villain, but then turn good. I'm not sure how to approach that idea though... Also, sorry for the short, relatively action-less post. Couldn't think of much to go off on (it's always kind of slow in the beginning I guess haha). Maybe a skull member can ambush them right off the bat though. Like in your post or maybe even my next post!

edit: to be specific, this is what I'm thinking. I want Evian and Io to have a singular goal (for now, I guess we'll be doing more episodic stuff until we can figure out a whole-over arching plot) and while Io tries to complete that goal, Evian will have motivations to hinder him in completing it. Io would keep running into some troubles or something, unaware that my character is actually kind of sabotaging him. I think it'd make for a pretty cool thing to roleplay out and an interesting story to play, but I'm not sure how to go about approaching it.

A villian... hmmm... that would spice things up. And as for Io doing trials I'm not sure if he would be the kind of guy to do them. Maybe I can introduce a new character?

I don't mind doubling at all.

Also your post length is fine again no worries on it. I didn't give you much to work off of so yeah. Also I'll be posting tomorrow sometime hopefully.

Yeah, but to be clear, I'd like Evian to be a villain turned good. So as he goes along, he'll develop and hopefully turn into a decent person and a person that Io can become friends with, but not without a lot of bumps on the way so he'd be like a... Short term villain.

Yeah I don't think Evian would be the kind to do trials either. He's more a coordinator/ performances type of trainer. I'm also thinking of introducing another character as well! All in all I think I could play 3 characters pretty easily. Evian's going to be my weird anti-hero dude, I'll have one classic good character, and I can also play an actual villain. n_n the other villain will probably a common threat to our mutual characters. But then I also do NPCs and stuff too.
