Also so unless you want to apply for a local domain because you thought it’s be a good idea to tick off Alt the Archangel I’d remind your that Echo can’t guarantee to rebuild your ghost like it was but only how it now is and some poor souls around here are half the man they once was and have developed an obsession with children’s entertainment as well as learning levels.
Okay now the first question is how did we zombie come to be and it has a simple to say but difficult to explain process and it is this.
We were once all Netrunners jac’d in and surfing when we encountered our deaths by differing methods such as how I died and that is a gang broke in and put several lead poison capsules at high velocity through my frontal cortex, some here are victims of power failure and bad luck but the most common and those are the ones who were attacked by Soulkiller programs; all I can say is if a zombie seems antisocial don’t press them because it’s kind of rough dying and not really being dead. Mind you there are some who say we are not the real us but Echos of a ghost that refuses to derez and I don’t give either much thought.
Now why does Shangri-la look like a modern clean simple town of about 350,000 that’s because you can’t see any deeper; more like 2.2 million spread in various reality partitions beyond you trode jockeys ability to see. The primary which is where your type can react looks as it does because Echo worked on rebuilding this level first and we hope she will continue to keep this way. We sane and more laid back zombie use this level as a place to mix or wind down in peace.
Don’t worry it’s not all Beavertown here, we do have a wild side locally but it’s a safe zone where you can practice, go to virtual school, do kinky things to those that have the same kinks and then there are the training games. Want to replay a historic battle or action, know what it’s like to be on a four man elite solo squad then Games is the place to go.
If you are a net runner I suggest a reality tether by Echo before you go on any risky mission or are suffering a heightened state of alert that way if you physically die while the tether is active might be drawn into Shangri-la or at least a really cool copy; man ought to leave something behind when he passes
The above is just some babbling but it is also an introduction to the Hidden Citadel Shangri-la where there are several way to get there as the are ranked
V-trode is the lowest form of access and the easiest way to discribe it is that while in Shangri-la Trode Jockeys are like really nice but slightly see through Holo people. They can speak, hear and see but not touch or be touched back
Netrunner are next and they can affect the net and touch as well as alter the local net and even people there. They are the more numerous and more dangerous and can be found on all but the most secure levels of Shangri-la though some do attempt to slip past the fairy dragon security programs only to run into the Fidos next and regret it. (Fidos are zombie that Echo or Alt has equipped with a very powerful but dumb attack program that responds to only their verbal orders. Normally zombie may only affect other zombie)
Last and most rare and sometimes referred to as the Nirvana class entity are the Archangels, AI and similar net entities and trouble these people only if you are the rarest of Netrunners who stands a chance at their level.
Still Echo exists on a level above these others because she is the first being of her kind anyone has ever heard of and her class is Goddess and given to her by the zombie because of her ability to be able to reassemble zombie that have been attacked and damaged or had an accident or cause AI to exhibit Turing level cognizance in her presence.
Don’t worry the tile is mostly an absurde view on her ability, well mostly but locally she kind of is like a mortal goddess but we don’t……...well we do take her seriously because as you read she is unique and it’s kind of neat being able to have a chat with the local goddess and even make a complaint or suggestion to improments you’d like and hear her say she will or watch her cause to be that which you asked for
Here in let’s Call it Centertown because it is our Citadel’s main access point we can help you people of the living world by using old connections we might still have in the outside world or with knowledges we have from our former lives. Echo isn’t the local Archangel because that belongs to Alt Cunningham who is the personality ingram of a formerly living netrunner who was used by the Corp who owned the Mainframe to give their AI a leg up on sentience. She still suffers from a strange form of Cyber PTSD because for perhaps 6 years which within the citadel is a lifetime Alt was quite mad, in fact she was starkers, manic, delusional and just plain nutz. It was when Echo found her that Alt’s sanity was restored by her arcane net talents and at that time Echo could have made herself controler of this place but choose instead to step back and only act as support for the odd population of zombies and her friend Alt
