Well, to answer your first question: I'm Grey Doll, but I think the name Dolly is kinda cute. There's literally no reason for me choosing that name, apart from the fact that I have Grey eyes and i was sitting next to the creepiest doll ever at the time.
Okay, so why an Interest Check? Well, in all honesty, I've been stalking this site for a long time now so I pretty much feel part of it already. And I'm not really here to make friends, I'm here to write and that's that.
Oh, and Vivacious gives me life for anyone actually asking the last question. But, if you must know, Adore Delano and Trixie Mattel are my spirit animals.
Let us talk a bit about me then like I don't already do that enough
I am a 20 year old female from the beautiful city of Edinburgh and I see myself as being a high-casual to low-advanced roleplayer. I think that's how I fit into the system here, anyway. I'm gonna put this in bold because it's important: me being female does not contribute to the gender of characters that I play whatsoever. I am open to playing male, female, or other characters including aliens or any weird shit. That does not mean, however, that I will say yes to everything. I do have preferences, like most normal people, so please keep that in mind.
A lot of people tend to describe me as being pretty intimidating. I like to say, or write, what is on my mind without a 'filter'. I will tell you if something is bothering me, or if I do not agree with you. It's not all bad, though. You don't have to spend your time worrying about me being pissed, because if I haven't said so, then 9 times out of 10 I'm not.
As a forewarning, I am not the most dedicated person on the planet - if something is boring me, then I will most likely drop it. If I like you, then I'll suggest we try something else or start afresh, but don't be surprised if I lose interest and decide to drop it if things get slow. Of course, I'm not the kinda gal that'll ditch my partner without a word - I'll let you know if I want to stop. I'm also not on the site 24/7. Is like to say that I'll post or at least communicate or whatever once a day, but that's being optimistic. Three times a week is my minimum, and I ask you not to pester me to post. I'll let you know when I'll be a little slow, but I ask that you're patient anyway.

Okay, so now here's the stuff I'm into
Settings
Medieval - when I think of this, a Game of Thrones-esque world typically comes to mind. However, I am also a fan of Camelot and other British medieval settings. I'd definitely be most interested in exploring the Royal courts, perhaps some forbidden love and, of course, dark themes like execution and betrayal.
Victorian Era - primarily something similiar to the Tudors (one of my favourite shows), or perhaps Reign. I'd prefer for this setting to be on the realistic side of things; pretty much keeping fantasy to a minimum. Again, Royal courtship etc intrigues me most, but I'd also be interested in hearing about what ideas you have about this world.
Jazz Age - something I've always wanted to write about ever since my English exam was on the Great Gatsby, I've fallen in love with the music, the style, and the ridiculous superficiality of 1920's America. I'd be your best friend forever if you'd be interested in it being within the Great Gatsby world (i.e. West and East Eggs, and the Valley of Ashes), but of course anything to do with flapper girls and the alcohol prohibition I'm more than happy to roleplay.
Life in the 60's - the 60's were, to say the least, a decade of change for America. Equality and civil rights were pushing segregation further and further into the past, and people's moral views were being changed for the better. I'd quite like to do something inspired by Hairspray, with a similiar setting and themes, but perhaps a different plot. I'm totally open to discussing this if you're interested. Hit me up.
Today - this is where my interests broaden to pretty much anything. If you have any ideas, whether they're fandom ones or a whole new universe you've created, let me know! I'll almost definitely be up for it. If you want a more detailed list of what I'm into, then just ask - I have a mile-long list of fandoms, plots and characters that I can't be bothered writing about right now.
↳ Medieval (with a twist of fantasy, perhaps?)
↳ Victorian Era (thorough knowledge is preferred)
↳ 1920's America - Jazz Age (something Great Gatsby-esque?)
↳ 1960's American high school
↳ Modern-day (throw in some fantasy, too?)
