On the surface, the town of Aria Bay, and Beacon University residing within, is completely normal. Your life, similarly, has been mostly normal since you started living here.
You didn't expect things to change so fast from the normal you've gotten so used to - and not more than a month after entering college, either. A paranormal entity has appeared before you, explaining that he wishes to make things "interesting" around Aria Bay, as well as the fact that you're not the only one he's appeared before. Soon after, you find abilities - superpowers - awakening you've only ever previously seen in video games or comic books. You have reason to believe that you're not the only one who has gained these powers. At the same time, you also doubt only these gifted folk know about the supernatural. All you know is, there's more to this world than you knew. Possibly more than the majority of the town knew.
And you're gonna find out what other secrets Aria Bay holds.

Okay, with that out of the way, we're here to have fun. At the same time, I want to make things clear; I don't want all player characters to have powers, nor do I want all people with powers to be player characters. (Confusing, huh?)
I'd prefer all player characters to be around the same age, and in the same college(Beacon University), but if you have another idea and have a way to make it work, be my guest.
I want to have at least 2 "Gifted" (superhuman) player characters and 1 "normal" player character. That, however, does not mean the "normal" player character has to be unable to compete in combat - they might have, say, lived on the streets for most of their life and self-trained in combat to defend from muggers, gang members, etc. Or perhaps, they have marksman or archery skills. These people would be able to handle unskilled "Gifted" characters. However, there are very few people in Aria Bay who know about the supernatural and haven't left to get out of the inevitable wave of destruction coming with it.
I'm not gonna put a cap on how many players we have for now, but I want at least 3 other people here with me. Late joiners are perfectly fine, and if you don't want to go through the "new student" stuff, it's fine to just go with having not been focused on before, but having been here the whole time - we can't expect everyone here to know everyone on the campus.
Thanks for reading this whole load of crap, and I'll hopefully see you in the RP.
