1. "Acceleration"
Ryan has access to Acceleration, Acceleration allows Ryan to freeze, slow or if he would choose to do so, accelerate time. He's not sure why he can trigger this ability or how it works, but after having suddenly frozen time (and toying around a bit), he figured out how to utilize it at least. Moving in 'frozen time' causes intense strain on the body, experienced as heat building up inside. Exiting 'frozen time' overheated might cause him to go unconscious or even die. the speed of the heat build-up increases the further time is slowed and Ryan will not cool down in 'frozen time'. He can enter 'accelerated time' to increase the speed of cooling down, but moving through accelerated time causes him to appear and move as if in slow motion.

2. "Power-Acceleration"
Further powers up Acceleration making it possible to cause shock waves when attacking, increasing both pain and knockback.

3. "Blink"
Blink is a mastery of Acceleration. It's the process of repeatedly entering and exiting hypermode, which can give attacks some devastating results. Repeatedly Accelerating causes heat to build up even faster and has a habit of causing splitting headaches.

Skills:
Critical hits - Ryan brutally exploits his knowledge of human anatomy from his major -biology- when fighting. Surprisingly he has also occasionally used this knowledge to help his gang-mates recover after fights. (Improv chiropractor)

Sword fighting - Being practiced at kenjutsu, Ryan makes for a dangerous opponent when wielding a sword or anything as simple as a round metal bar the could be used like one.

Brawling - Since Ryan leads a gang occasional fistfights were...unavoidable. By now Ryan has punched enough people to number triple gang (though this also includes some of his own "daft" gang-mates.

Medic! - Ryan can patch up cuts and wounds using his knowledge of how the body recovers, but since his only actual knowledge of first aid is limited to what he's seen others perform he's not too impressive at it.

Intimidation - Ryan has a little gang and is well known around Aria bay, his name carries weight and some people are genuinely afraid of him.

College studies:
Major: Biology Ryan hasn't paid too much attention during classes, but he's always liked biology and despite his delinquent behavior he has a perfect attendance record (for biology). He excels in the subject of the human anatomy and is brutal in the exploiting of this knowledge when getting into fights with other delinquents.

Minor: Sports (Kenjutsu) Ryan is a sporty fellow, he is always up for some brawling, but with a sword in his hands his fighting suddenly becomes a lot less unpolished. He did a Kenjutsu scholarship and made it to the nationals, but he never actually managed to win any big tournaments.

Appearance: Ryan has messy dirty-blond hair that reaches down to his chin. He has a stern-looking face with green eyes, usually with bags under them. He is fairly buff, but not overly buff and stand at 6'2" tall. Ryan wears his gang's signature jacket, black with a spiked pad on the left shoulder and the gang insignia on the back. Under it he wears one of a variety of gory T-shirts and dark-red jeans. He carries around a wooden training sword and of course a (leather) bag.

Backstory: Ryan has been out causing trouble since his early childhood, seeming to somehow attract it. his relationship with his parents is fairly cold and has been this way ever since he would keep coming back home with bruises and classmates' angry parents. He rents a building he calls 'The Hideout' in the less crowded part of the city using money the gang scrapes together (doing actual legitimate jobs). He lives in this building with the majority of the gang, led by him and his 2 childhood friends.

He's got no sob story and detests people who keep complaining about their life, though he occasionally does it himself too. With his 2 childhood friends he forms a solid team that has led the way to dominance in the delinquent world, fighting foes armed with knives and wrenches more often than not. While he is a thug and definitely not a stranger to violence, he still works to ensure his gang-mates at least attend school so they are able to return to the more 'respectable' part of society would they want to, "instead of becoming complete losers".

Name: Kirby Morrow

Dance- Kirby has a true talent for dance, seeming to have an intuitive sense for rhythm and personal kinesthetic. From Tap to Tango, Ballroom to Hip-hop, Kirby is proficient in a wide variety of dancing arts. He is constantly training himself for his next show, and when he's dancing Kirby carries with him confidence usually unseen in his oddball personality.

Capoeira- Colloquially known as 'dance-fighting', Kirby picked up the martial art during his high-school years and has been training in the style ever since. He finds the activity enjoyable, as it both keeps him fit for more traditional dancing and serves as an outlet for any stress or aggression, but doubts he'd ever be in a situation to actually use the defensive art outside of sparring.

Humor- Kirby is a bit 'off', and he'll the be the first one to point it out. Comedy is his defense-mechanism, and when he's in an unusual circumstance or a stressful situation one can bet that Kirby will crack an ill-timed joke or a bit of self-deprecating humor.

College studies:
Major- Dance
His passion and pastime, Kirby is an astute study in the subject of dance. He not only commits himself to the physical art of expression by way of hours of classes and training, but also dedicating time to understanding the history and creativity inherent to the medium.

Minor- Education
Really his backup plan if dancing for Disney doesn't work out, Kirby approaches his Education studies with middling enthusiasm. He has fair talent at teaching, but by no means a savant of any sorts.

Appearance: Bearing an angular face, large ears, pale blue eyes, and curly orange-red hair, Kirby doesn't exactly blend in with the crowd. He stands at a moderate height at a limber 5'10, his body bearing the grace and athletic build that comes with dancing for the majority of his life. He dresses himself smartly, usually wearing some combination of collard shirt, jacket, jeans, and sneakers. He does, however, have a decent assortment of costumes and tights that he can be spotted wearing if someone catches him on a performance day.



Backstory: Kirby wasn't born lucky, but he ended up there. Put up for adoption soon after his birth, Kirby never had a chance to get to know his biological mother before he was quickly taken in by the Morrows. Thomas and Erik Morrow raised Kirby as best they could, teaching him to pursue whatever passion he wanted to, expectations be damned. And Kirby was happy with the way his life was turning out. His adopted parents showed nothing but love for their son, he was growing up to be an excellent dancer and had found a passion for the activity, and he had made some fast friends which never failed to bring a smile to his face. The world was simple in those blissful days of childhood, and Kirby was grateful for the life he had been gifted.

Unfortunately, high school had to happen. People suddenly thought it was strange that Kirby had two dads instead of just one. That he was a guy who enjoyed ballet and ballroom. Or perhaps everyone had always considered it weird, and were only just getting vocal about it. Regardless, Kirby became a target of many taunts and more than a few bullies. His friends, once an endless well of support, started distancing themselves from him in an attempt to avoid a similar treatment. What had started as name=calling ended up getting more physical, and there were more than a few days that Kirby tried to hide his bruising from his parents; passing it off as injuries from dance or from training. The day he came home with a black-eye, however, was the day that Kirby's parents had decided enough was enough and saw through their son's hasty lies. Though Kirby was unwilling to give up the names of the kids who did this to him, he did accept his parent's insistence on putting him through self-defense classes so that if their son ever found his way into this situation again, he would at least be able to fight back. Enlisting him in Capoeira, Kirby initially trained hard in an attempt to stave off his parent's attempts to get involved. As time wore onward, however, Kirby learned to genuinely enjoy his lessons; his natural talent at dance lending itself very well to the martial art. He made new friends at his defense classes, the bullying seemed to taper off for a time, and Kirby again found resolve enough to be happy with his life.

It wouldn't be until the start of Sophomore year that Kirby would actually use Capoeira. Around the first week of classes, the same bullies who had tormented him through his freshmen year thought it would be a clever idea to reenact the events of last year's beatings. The largest of the lot started shoving Kirby into lockers, hounding him like he did when Kirby was still a freshman, and in response Kirby, as politely as he could, knocked the bully flat on his ass. A teacher was quickly summoned, and both students received weeks long detentions for starting a fight within the first week of school, but Kirby was pretty much left alone by his tormentors through the rest of his high school career.

The rest of high school proceeded in a fairly normal fashion for Kirby. He continued his studies in both dance and Capoeira, winning awards for the former and continuing to rise through belt levels in the latter. The bullies would tease him occasionally, but always from a distance and never within striking range. He repaired a few friendships that he lost freshman year, managed to keep his grades to mostly A's and B's, dated a girl for six months before it ended in heartbreak, stole whiskey from his parent's liquor cabinet with his friends to drown his sorrows in, had a dance-off with a professor at senior prom that is still talked about at his high school, and managed to get his GPA up enough to gain admission into Beacon University.

As a starry-eyed freshman at Beacon University, Kirby can't wait to see what surprises the future hold for him. Couldn't be any worse than high school, right?

Martial Artist - Although Mylene may not look it, she's actually an extremely skilled martial artist, trained in Wing Chun and Aikido. Some tend to mistake her for a Power-user due to her fighting ability, however this isn't the case. Because of her participation in MMA competitions, she's still learning different styles.

Photography - Because of Mylene's skills in combat, she's able to react to fast moving objects. Thus she is able to capture amazing images that most people would miss.

Cooking - Mylene is a pretty good home cook, and she tends to cook her own meals rather than buy them from stores or cafeterias. Her reasoning being, "I can put what I like in my meal, whenever."

College studies:
Major: Photography is Mylene's chosen course of study. She's always enjoy capturing images of various things, however her favourite subject to capture is high-speed movement as she feels that capturing these moments only come once in a lifetime. Attends a lot of martial arts tournaments as an amateur photographer to add to her portfolio.

Minor: Dance is something that Mylene had always wanted to try. She enjoys the idea of freeformed expression through movement, but she's also quite interested in forms like Capoeira. Dancing martial arts? Now that sounds really interesting.

Mylene stands at around 5'7" with an athletic physique (and a b-cup). She has long dark purple-dyed hair, her natural hair colour being black. She usually ties it in a low ponytail or leaves it untied. Mylene likes to wear coloured contacts that make her eyes look purple, to match her hair. Her natural eye colour is actually a hazel brown. Her skin is quite fair with a few freckles on her face. She often wears a grey beanie, a black t-shirt (Depending on the weather, she'll also wear a washed out blue hoodie and a green scarf), a pair of plain jeans and a pair of converse shoes.

She almost always has a DSLR camera hanging from her neck.

Backstory:
As the daughter of two well known martial artists, Mylene was born to be a martial artist as well. Her father was a Wing Chun Shifu and her mother was an Aikido sensei. Fortunately they didn't argue about whose martial art was better, rather they decided to teach their daughter both styles simultaneously. During her childhood, she spent most of her time in the dojo practising among her peers, however many of the other students didn't enjoy sparring with her, because she would often use both Aikido and Wing Chun during the match, giving her an advantage in terms of flexibility. Not to mention the fact that she was becoming somewhat of a prodigy in martial arts.

Despite her high aptitude for the combat arts, Mylene struggled to make friends at school and in the dojo. Her parents reputation and her skills created an 'untouchable' atmosphere around her, which caused many to hesitate when she approached them. During her highschool days, many people started picking fights with her due to her background, hoping they could brag about beating Mylene in a fight. Thus Mylene's win streak became the topic of gossip, which didn't help her 'friend situation'. However there was one person who approached her who wasn't afraid of Mylene. Someone who was willing to get to know the person behind the crazy martial arts. That person became her best friend, but also her only friend.

What was discovered by her newfound bestfriend, was that Mylene was a kind and caring person. Someone with a personality that would fool most into thinking that she wasn't actually a martial artist at all.

Mylene was able to get into Beacon University via a scholarship after being urged to enter numerous MMA competitions during her highschool days, despite how unorthodox her styles are.

Name: Georgie Willis

Age: 18

Skills: Georgie has a good sense of how machines and various devices work, and while she often doesn't have friends due to her odd ways, she remains cheerful and lively, and can at least keep people from hating her. And while she's awful at quick decision making, she can form some pretty darn good ideas if you let her sit and mumble to herself for a few hours. Georgie's also a big optimist- she can only see the good outcomes in something, perhaps a trait that contributes to her naïvety.

College studies:
Engineering (Major): Georgie has an intense fascination for how different parts useless on their own can come together to make something functional and useful. She doesn't seem to know what exactly she wants to do in this field, but she knows she wants to build things, or improve on previous inventions. Sadly, her inventions aren't exactly... good, or useful at all, and she has some of the lowest grades in her class, perhaps due to her lack of focus and lazy tendencies.
Math (Minor): Not much to say here. Georgie has always performed highly in her math classes and is good with formulas. She enjoys her math classes, mostly because their easy As.

Appearance: Her hair is carrot colored and bushy, cropped short around her head and almost completely covering her small brown eyes. Georgie is of average height and build for the most part. She's often covered in various bruises and scratches, due to her clumsiness causing accidents. Her clothes are off-putting and it's clear she puts no effort into picking her outfits- she wears baggy clothes in faded colors, and usually ties a green bandana around her neck. Her skin is tinged pink often, since she sunburns very easily.

Backstory: Georgie had a mostly happy childhood in a big family, with her parents, four rowdy brothers, and several dogs. It was incredibly hard to keep a secret in her family with it being so huge, and as a result her family is a lot more close than most, especially during her teenage years, where most teenagers start to resent their parents. She might have had a rough time at school, but the love from her family more than made up for it. Her mother would let Georgie cook with her, even though she never did anything helpful, her dad let her mess around with broken tools, and her brothers seemed to care for her despite always teasing her.

Still, school was lonely. Ever since her days in primary school, Georgie's had a habit of chasing off potential friends. She's odd, a bit gross, and often annoying, and her punishment for that was having almost nobody to play with. Georgie was still pretty happy- in middle and high school, she started to enjoy video games, and eventually dominated the leaderboards and servers in many of the games she played.

College, though, was going to be something totally different from high school and middle school. Beacon University would be her new home from now on, and she intended to make the most of that.

Friends: Mr. Welzenbarg (NPC)Her computer sciences professor, whom she often chats with after class. An older man in his forties who always has the look of a man found clothed only in human hair on the side of the road- confused, and a little frightened. Short, and mouse-like in appearance.


Enemies: Despite many people obviously disliking her, Georgie just doesn't have a bone to pick with most people. She's trusting enough to give people the benefit of the doubt if they act cruel to her.

SENSE BORROWING-
The ability to perceive through another beings' senses. The user of this magic can experience the world through the senses of others – meaning the user can taste, smell, see and hear whatever their ‘victim’ is. However - the user can only watch as their victim does things, as they no control over what the victim sees or does.
When this magic is in use, the user’s body becomes helpless and limp. The user has no control over their own senses, and has no awareness of what may be happening around them whilst they’re using the spell.

TELEKINESIS –
The ability to move objects around with your mind. Aelyn is only able to use this ability for a certain amount of time (10 minutes maximum), before she receives side effects of migraines and/or dizziness.

NEUTRALIZATION-
The user of this magic is incapable of feeling any sort of (physical) pain, which allows them to function and focus in situations where an average person would be put out of action. This ability cannot be controlled by Aelyn herself. Instead, this ability performs itself automatically when she’s in extreme amounts of pain, and lasts for 15 minutes before wearing off.
Keep in mind that the user of this magic can only tolerate the pain, not cancel it out or ‘heal’ the source of the pain.

Skills:
Music – Throughout her high-school years, Aelyn took multiple classes in piano, and practiced thoroughly whenever she had time. Because of her extensive work in piano, Aelyn is able to sight read (read sheets of music) very well.
Climbing –Aelyn has a strong upper body which gives her the ability to climb with ease. This is (most likely) from Pilates and gymnastics classes she attended in the past.
Lie or Truth? – Aelyn is a decent actor, which helps her greatly to make-up believe lies on the spot. She hasn’t found the need to use this sly skill during her high-school years, but it could come in handy now… who knows?

Appearance:
Aelyn is described most often as ‘doll-like’ among others, due to her large, hazel eyes and small, pink, blossom shaped lips. She bears a slim heart shaped face with high cheekbones and a slim jaw, along with a small, pointy nose. Her skin is a pale, creamy colour – very similar to the skin tone you’d see on a porcelain doll – and a small, dark mole sits just beside her right eye.
She stands at a short height of 5’2, and weighs around 120 pounds. Her wavy, fawn-brown hair sits down her back neatly, reaching just above her waist, and her bangs sit just over her eyebrows. Aelyn is very aware of her appearance, and makes sure she always looks smart and presentable in whatever she may be wearing.

Backstory:
As a child, Aelyn always lived in the shadow of her twin brother Seth.
During elementary school & middle school, Seth was highly intelligent and popular, and her parents clearly respected and cherished him much more than her. She was always being told by her parents to ‘behave like Seth does’ or ‘become smart like Seth is’, which made her feel useless and inept. Aelyn has always got along extremely well with her twin, however, she found herself always feeling envious of him and his success. Aelyn desperately wanted to be known for more than being ‘Seth’s twin sister’.
In highschool things changed dramatically. She was determined to finally be known for her own achievements – not for her brother’s – so she began to participate in a variety of different clubs and activities. One activity in particular that captured her interest was music. Aelyn decided to learn piano, and eventually developed a love for the percussion instrument. She also began to focus much more on her grades and classes, though it eventually to the point where she began to lose many close friends due to her antisocial behaviour. Her parents were undoubtedly impressed with their daughter’s sudden success in multiple fields, meaning the amount of praise she received was innumerable.
Aelyn soon began to compete in many musical competitions, and took exams for her piano playing. She became quite well known around her school for her speedy and immaculate playing skills, yet she still had trouble making new friends due to – once again – her antisocial-ness. Aelyn didn’t care all that much at the time, as she was too consumed by her studies and schoolwork to notice.
During this time Seth’s life began to change dramatically as well, however, not in a way that her parents approved of. Seth developed a large interest in art, and begun to practice his painting and drawing skills extensively. Her parents immediately disapproved of his new talent, saying that ‘art would get him nowhere in the future’. Despite their negative comments, Seth continued to practice in art, and announced that in college he would do Fine Arts as his major. This angered her parents greatly, and caused a large feud between her twin and them. Aelyn was too considering to do something art-related and take Music as her major in college, but decided against it in fear of displeasing her parents as Seth had done. She instead decided to choose a different major which her parents approved of and she had an interest in – Anthropology. Both Seth and Aelyn were able to attend Beacon University, and although they don’t speak to each other as much as they’d like to, they still make sure to stay in contact.
Aelyn hopes she can ‘live a little’ in her college years, and meet a wide variety of people, as she didn’t get the opportunity to do so in the past.
