Looks like I'll have to try harder than normal for my opening post. XD

It will have to wait until tomorrow. I'm guessing my character could sense something was wrong so goes to investigate.

Xavier Bloodbayne The Man. The Myth. The Legend.

Member Seen 2 yrs ago

Lmao yeah sorry! It all just kept coming to me.

Even still I left out a little detail. From the moment he falls in the lake to when he wakes up would be a few days time. So it would allow plenty of things to go wrong and attract more attention.

He has murdered 3 people already so you can go off of that to. You just have creative freedom to make whatever you want out of the information given.

Looks like I couldn't get a post ready, as it's too late tonight, so I'll try again next night.

So if he can possess that guy, could he posses a baby as well? Walking around, torturing people, and conquering armies and all that jazz while making baby noises.

I suppose in theory he could. I don't know about the baby noises... maybe a few times here and there to toy with people but mainly just high pitched bad ass speak from an infant lol.

Unless a baby brain is too undeveloped for an adult to properly possess. Like I know they have trouble seeing and stuff so he might be plagued by the same issues unless possessing significantly alters the brain.

Well when Xavier takes over the body he takes control of the persons mind as well. So everything about Xaviers goes along with him. Maybe there would be a learning curve. After all its not like he's done something like that after all so it would be very new to him.

Hope you are okay with adding some more town guards around. I plan on them not doing anything for the fight. Xavier can lead Mryda away from the area where they can't catch up.

I don't mind at all! I wouldn't expect there to be only 3 guards in town lol. Besides I plan to throw alot of things into the mix while Xavier powers up. Just to keep it interesting!

On some things, like Xavier throwing the sword and his shoulder getting dislocated, I do a die roll out of 100 to decided what will happed. Above 50 is a good thing and below is baddies lol I got a 64 on the blade throw so the tip hit instead of the hilt. I got a 43 on the charge so it didn't go down on the 1st hit.

You don't have to do this at all, it's just kind of a handicap system I'll be trying to use for right now until he has more power! And it's kind of interesting to have to write a fail lol

When a sword strike hits so well that it comes out the butt, that seems like a natural 20 on a 20 sided dice right there. XD Maybe if you get a 95 to 100 you should get a critical hit that kills her right there.

I can see the handicap system used when there's a good excuse why they could hit or miss, but generally my character wouldn't be failing all that much as she's not pushing her limits at all in the fight. An olympic weightlifter wouldn't have to roll a dice to lift a 20 pound weight, after all.

Yeah well I also wanted to do something a little flashy, so 60 good enough for me! Lower than 50 would have snapped his neck with the hilt so it still would have worked out lol I will get better at using it as time goes on and I can add the outcomes of each roll somewhere in the post.

Like I said I don't expect you to use it at all, but you can at the same time if you want too. Similar to what you said, I'm only doing it because Xavier is so weak right now. It will be less and less necessary as the posts gon byou.

Ooohhhh, two different writing styles ontop of a good fight. This should be very interesting! I won't rush you, I know you'll get to posting when it's ready! I just don't proofread or second guess what I'm writing.

It's one and done for me lol

I have to reread what I write at least one and then second guess after I post, so yeah.

To each their own. I'm sure I could stand to proof read more often but most of the time I type at work so I just have to be quick. I feel like it does effect my post quality because I feel pressured to wrap it up quick and get back to work.

Let met know of any problems!

And just for the record I assume your character is faster than Xavier right now, or can be at any rate. So it would be fine if she were to come out ahead of him in the alley or something like that to start another fight with him.
