Heyo everybody, I'm chiru and this is my general 1x1 search thread. It'll be updated when I get new ideas and the like! I don't generally like to take on a whole bunch of RPs since otherwise I get kinda overwhelmed, so when I've got as many as I can handle the status will change to closed! If it's closed but you still really want to RP, shoot me a message anyway if you're prepared to wait a little while ^^ 

Alrighty so let's get the boring stuff out of the way first! 


I'm a girl and I prefer to RP with other girls. Not to say I won't RP with dudes but I tend to feel better doing 1x1 stuff with girls, y'know? Full disclosure, I'm a lesbian but I promise I won't be weird or anything so don't be freaked out.
I'm 18+! Whether or not lewd stuff is part of the equation doesn't bother me but if it's something you want, then just know that I'm of age.
Up for any sort of pairing except for MxF with me playing the female character. FxF or MxM? Fine in my book! And if you want me to play the dude to your lady, I can do that to! So yeah, basically as long as you don't want me to play a girl to your guy, we're good. Platonic stuff is also cool. I like romance to be the icing on the cake, so to speak, rather than the cake itself, you get me?
Generally casual to high casual writing style to low advanced writing style. I'm saying this because while I can write advanced, I have trouble churning out 5+ paragraphs consistently and I don't want to let down people (aka gods among men) who don't have trouble with that. Honestly, I'm super lenient with how much you write, it's not something that bothers me. I'm the sort of person who can write a lot when there's a lot to write about, but in a conversation or a tense, fast-paced scene, I write less. If that's you too, then hit me up my dood.
My rate of replying is somewhat iffy. Again, full disclosure. Sometimes I can churn out multiple replies in a day, other times it'll take me several days. I'll always try and keep you in the loop regardless. So on your end, there's no worries if you take a while, it doesn't bother me in the slightest!
I'm cool with anything. 100% chilled out my man. No limits. Except furries (pls no.) Dark themes and violence are great because pshh nothin personnell kid and all that. Want some lewd? Sure thing! Don't want any lewd? It's all good, pure one! I can generally adapt to my partner pretty well in terms of violence/language/maturity level.
I like using anime faceclaims, but not always. Just bringing this up because I'm a filthy weeb and I know some people here hate anime (probably for the best.) But like I said above I'm good with anything so if you want realistic stuff then just lemme know. Plus sometimes RPs work better with realistic so yeah let's just talk it out.
Please don't make your character a pussy. I know a lot of people are into the whole very dominant character with a very submissive character thing (and not necessarily just in a sexual sense.) That's fine but I've played with a few weepy wet blanket type characters in my time RPing and when I have to do absolutely everything it gets a little dull. That isn't to say of course that your character can't be on the submissive side or shy or something, those types are totally cool and cute, just make sure that they can't be defined solely as 'the victim' is all I'm saying, you get me? Plus I reeeally like it when both characters are sort of morally ambiguous and can switch between roles.
I like plotting a lot. As in, I like to establish major plot points quite early on, and in many cases the ending. Even if things don't end up going to plan, that's fine, but I like to have an idea where we're going or I get kinda bored. I also like having RPs with an ending. Closure is nice.
I also like shitposting a lot! Seriously, I love talking and joking about our characters and memeing with anime girls and the like. So we can chat in PM and if you want my discord then just let me know because friends are good.

Alrighty now here comes the fun part. Genres and pairings! Super vague stuff so we'll have to work together to get a legit story out of it.

Genre and vague settings I like, can obviously be combined:

Horror: Whether the story's about a straight up murder spree, something victorian gothic or southern gothic, spooky disease or mental hospital ala Outlast, or some creepy town where nothing seems quite right, I'm all about it.
Thriller: I like my RPs exciting and fast-paced. I especially love crime thriller. Might be cool to do something in a prison, I've been craving that.
Supernatural: Anything with supernatural entities.
Fantasy: High fantasy or low fantasy or urban fantasy, take your pick.
Pirates. arr
Western: Nice n' wild.
Victorian era: Man I just love RPs in this era.
Noir, cyberpunk, mafia, post-apocalyptic: Putting these in the same one because they all have a similar gritty feel I like and also I don't want this to be too long.

Fandoms I like. I don't often RP fandoms, but here are some ones I'd be willing to RP within, or do something based off it. I generally don't like to play canon characters and I prefer that you don't play one either, though it's up to you. Will update as I feel interested.

Outlast. Okay I'm just super hyped for Outlast 2 and I love Outlast. Played it for a shitton of hours and have done multiple insanity runs. The vibe of Outlast is just great, and I would love to maybe do something either taking place in the universe or just something based off the concept. I also think trying something based off the premise of Outlast 2 (creepy cult village) would be cool.
Elder Scrolls. Right now I have the most knowledge on Oblivion and Skyrim since I haven't played Morrowind in years. I find this to be a generally good universe to RP in because it's so broad.
Fallout. Still haven't got around to finishing Fallout 4 (too weirded out by a talking protagonist) but I've played the other games (though I have pretty much forgotten 1 and 2) and it's a fun universe as well.


Pairings! We can brainstorm together. If there's one bolded in the pairings, that's the one I'd prefer to play but honestly I'm fine with whatever.
