@BlackFlag buddy, welcome to Roleplayer Guild. It's slow here - it's supposed to be. The point of most of what we do is taking time with our posts and having large, intricate bullshittery that everyone can gawk at for a couple of minutes before they begin on their own post, lol
I'll send over a PM at some point tomorrow when I get it straightened out. (somehow didn't think to PM something over to you earlier) I'll try not to get too far behind.
I'm afraid my posts are probably going to seem obnoxiously large compared to everyone elses as I am very used to forum RP. I also don't know that I can get out of the habit of putting everything in past tense. Sorry guys. :/
Don't worry about a thing! Feel free to PM me at any time with questions, ideas, or to get your character approved! I'll probably be the first to see it. Wishmaster's at an army thing so the plot isn't going to progress tonight anyway.
Ah, the dreaded 'intro post'. How I despise it so - setting the very mood for a character that will dictate every aspect of player interaction hence-forth. Bother and befuddle, I promise I shall introduce the mighty Abet Drakethorn of Boulderthane before tomorrow is over!
@DracheLike I said, feel free to be as intricate as you like. There's no length requirement--minimum or maximum. Also no tense requirement, present is just a personal taste of mine.
@Heap241 We are in the capital city of the People's Conglomerate, accepting a job offer from Gladios, the leader of the country. We don't know eachother yet and are meeting for the first time (Apart from Veryon and Vycker)
Hi, folks! I thought I'd poke my head around and see what this was; are you guys using the Guild as a platform for a roleplay originated off-site? I had a peek at the wiki. Are you following a storyline or winging a dungeon crawl-type adventure?
@Aristo This is a long-running roleplay that originated off-site (as a chat roleplay) and we wanted to try something new and see if forum people would like it, since it's a long-standing and highly developed setting it's extremely interesting to us to see how people interact with it and, hopefully, fun for them to interact with a living, breathing world. There's a very vague main storyline and a lot of dungeon-crawling style quests, though those are optional, and some other stuff, too.
@LasgoulDraconiaSounds neat! I admire the dedication; RPs live and die with the devotion of their core players. I'll have to take a closer look when work's over; I might be interested!
