Hello, old friend! I'm back from the abyss ... and I finally feel ready to do a type of RP such as this one. If you've not started with anyone else, I'd love to take on two of these characters. I am drawn to the baking friend ... so unless you want that one, I'd claim him/her in a heartbeat. :D I also know enough about computers or space to feel comfortable doing either of those ...

If you're still open for this, do you have a preference for playing one male and one female or both of the same gender? I'm okay playing male although I'm female, so I'm up for anything.

Hey there, seems I'm not the only one trying to rise from the ashes! I wouldn't mind giving this a go with you and you're welcome to snag the one who bakes and the one who's good with computers. I'm fine with space and music! I think we could both snag one female and one male each, it might be easier to have that kind of variety in the mix. I think my male might be the one investing in music, likely the piano or violin with my female being interested in space and getting up there. What are your thoughts on the matter? And thank you for the format compliment, I tried to capture the possible roles without getting too ahead of myself. :)

Nope, I've returned from adulting stress, and now things are all good - so time to get back to writing. Glad I won't be doing so alone~

Hmm ... it's hard to choose if I want my guy or girl to be the baker ... if it's a guy, then he'd be kind of down to earth and more of the kind-hearted type. If we're talking stereotypes for anime/dramas, then your guy seems like he'd be the 'cold' one from what he likes ... let me know if I'm wrong though!! Otherwise, I'd be glad to make my guy the techy computer guy. There's two types with those - the jerk/I'm-so-smart one, and the goofy one. I'd just hate for us to be playing the same sort of personality for our characters - how do you see your guy's personality?

Which leads to my girl ... if she's the baker then she's the innocent, soft-spoken, kind-hearted type. If she's into computers, she's more tomboyish. Either way, neither are the 'queen bee/popularity queen' type. I don't play those well enough, but I could try if you think it'd be interesting. It'd be a fun challenge. :D

I was actually thinking my male would be more sensitive, able to feel the music he plays. He would be a serious student and a bit of a straight shooter but he would still be able to connect with music and reach his emotions through that avenue. Mine would probably be the laid back, cool sort so if you'd like to have your guy more playful, extroverted that would be a good mix, maybe someone who does feel somewhat superior with his tech skills but in turn is happy to lend a hand to those who need it?

For a moment I considered throwing in a sporty type who could be the popular girl but then I figured it would really limit when the friends hang out if one has a game and I'd hate for the gang to revolve around that sort of schedule. If your girl is more soft spoken and sweet, I think mine would be the outgoing tomboy sort? Unless you wanted your girl to take computers and your guy to be the more quiet one? I don't think any of our characters would fall into a popular category but it's safe to say they could be well liked in their niche at school?

Oh, the adult stress never goes away - I won't let you go on believing that. Haha. You just learn to cope or adjust. It's not so bad though. Just another stage of life.

That's actually exactly how I was thinking my techy guy would be. I'm excited! My sweet hearted innocent girl and goofy guy. I agree that they would have a strange schedule if one of them was in sports - but what if they were all on a committee or in a club together? That could explain how they originally met. For club, I was thinking drama because that club takes all types, and never is really full of the preppier kids. What do you think?

I was assuming they probably met in elementary school, putting them around 7-8 when they met? I think we could have there be a dramatic club which they met in after school? Or are you thinking they would meet in high school and have been friends for more like 2-3 years instead? I'm already hunting a few possible images for my characters, I think anime would be the medium to go by, that okay?

Ooh, okay - yeah, that all sounds good to me - so whichever you decide. Anime is fine since it definitely fits this sort of story. I'll start looking while my family is footballing and my attendance is required. :P

Sorry, I'm on my phone - I didn't see that part about retirement. I'm not sure that will exist when we are old. It'll be more like in The Giver. (I am totally a cynic). Haha.

What about your guy and my guy knew each other since elementary school? And as you said, they could all converge at high school in drama? That would work for me.

Sounds like a plan. Perhaps if we are going in the swing of romance, maybe my guy will feel like he likes my girl - but he's been scared to ruin their friendship, but turns out he has more of a brotherly affection that gets brought out when something's sparks between your guy and my girl?

Awesome! So our guys knew each other, and met the girls in high school. Maybe they'd been to an all boys school in middle school, which is normal for middle school in that culture. Did you like the idea that they got selected to attend some sort of elite school on a scholarship? I have a picture for my guy - totally stolen from a game a played. I'm still looking for my girl. So~ In middle school, there was an all girls school for our girls and an all boys school for the boys - then they go to a public high school where they meet up at? I just want to be sure I have it right. ^^

Turning with the Season sounds good to me! I like that it means we could highlight skips through the seasons as needed, maybe a nice theme for each or something. Maybe I'm thinking too much haha.

I wasn't thinking the girls would also already know each other but it would be a bit more simple if the the girls were well acquainted as the guys were. So that's cool with me!
