NAME – Tiberius Winter
AGE – 35
ALIGNMENT – Neither apply, so I shall use the D&D alignment: True Neutral
APPEARANCE – Tiberius is an extremely well built man, but not unnaturally so, with a dark skin tone that would be classed as Anglo-Indian average in the real world. His arm muscles seem to be medium sized, yet much denser than they should have been. He is thin and hard at the stomach, with chest somewhat puffed out naturally. He has long legs, which make up for most of his 6'3" tall body. In terms of clothing, he always wears a blue sort of robe that covers his chest, and goes down to his thighs, and black leggings. On his feet is a braced stroke of bandages on both feet, and no shoes. He also wears a stereotypical straw hat for head-protection reasons, and to make sure no one mistakes him for TRULY Landeian. This is what he wears almost all the time.
STYLE – He uses Physical Spiritual Energy to both harden his body and limbs while fighting, to also create much more powerful attacks by creating "ki" barriers around his limbs to devastate his opponents. He can also use it to provide propulsion to his attacks, an example being a sort of rocket punch that would occur by applying propulsion Ki to the elbow before a full punch.
TECHNIQUES – Tiberius mainly uses his training in the martial arts. This martial art is actually quite mixed, and would be called a combination of muay thai, judo and jiujutsu. A better way of saying this would be that when he punches, its from the waist, and the hands are twisted to maximize bodily damage. Then you add on the damage he can cause by hardening his limbs, propelling his attacks to faster speeds, and creating Ki barriers. Same applies for kicking, takedowns, and drops.
CHARACTER BALANCING – Tiberius, being a monk hailing from the Salasi, is a capable fighter at hand to hand, but he is very limited at ranged fighting. As well as that, his detached nature may cause several people to believe he is a cruel person, thereby lowering his status with him socially.
PERSONALITY – Tiberius is a quiet and inwardly melancholy person, who has been taught to be patient, unjudgemental, and decisive. He doesn't always appear nice, but is rightly cheerful enough if you know him well. However, when it comes to people he
doesn't like, he is generally patient with them, and treats them the way they deserve to be treated, although this CAN be affected by how he truly thinks of said person, for Tiberius IS entirely human.
BACKSTORY – Tiberius Winter, the last remaining man from a line of immigrant Landeians in Salasi, was born and raised in a monastery of monks. The reason for this was the fact that it was the only place that would take him, an orphan who's parents had become victims of disease and overwork. It seemed wrong for the timid and and weak child that was Tiberius to be raised in a monastery well known for its teaching of the martial arts, but over time, as he was raised collectively by the monks who lived there, he became more like his mentors, quiet, patient, and durable. They had decided to treat him like one of their own, and brought him up like they brought up any one who decided to join them.
They taught him the ways of controlling one's mind and body, with emphasis on the mind. They put him through harsh conditions, yet kept an eye of affection on him, and they trained him from the day he turned seven. Years passed, and Tiberius matured into a young and fit man, who was entirely, but not totally, unlike the three year old child who had been left at the monastery. His adoptive family was proud of him, although they did not openly express it.
But they didn't teach him everything. They wouldn't, not until he proved he was worthy. At the age of 20, they told him to set out out, and only to return when he had "found the most valuable thing in the world".
He set out on an epic journey throughout Ari, during which time he came into contact with different people, of different cultures, and even tourists, so he became acclimatized to other people, an experience he hadn't had before. He learned many things about the world, something the tough man hadn't been able to do, due to his contained life.
But he was failing in his real mission. "This is a journey everyone has taken, but me! What is 'the most valuable thing of them all'?" he would often say to himself on the darkest, coldest and loneliest of nights. But he endured.
Ten years later, after he had completed his journey around Ari, Gavia and his ancestoral home of Landeia, he still had nothing. Nothing but several experiences and memories to cherish, but to him, they weren't what he was told for look for, were they? He returned to his home in defeat, sad and of the opinion that he would be received with disappointment, anger, and shame.
That turned out to not be the case, for he was received with the words "You took the longest journey, longer than any of us. I hope you did find what we wanted you to find." When he replied in denial, and talked in shame of his empty-handedness. His mentor just laughed, along with the rest of his friends and family, and said in an affectionate voice "Oh, you fool. It was no material object, or even enlightenment we wanted you to find! We just wanted you to learn the ways of the world, and to travel! We wanted you to have experiences!"
With that, Tiberius realized that he HAD completed his original mission, although not entirely. Then his mentors taught him his final lesson, the reason why they had sent him out in the first place. Manipulation of spiritual energy and ki, which turned out simpler than he'd imagined in the first place. But even then, he was no longer at peace by staying in one place
Tiberius spoke to his mentors for a while, and came to a conclusion. His mission was not over.
The world was still left, and he's been traveling ever since
ORIGIN – Tiberius has a mission to see the world, and he has been for almost fifteen years now. He has gone to many places, except for Teriv, and a large part of Rylos. He is currently going towards Teriv, and his ship has landed in Dun. He will definitely assist in stopping the Order, as their genocidal moves go against the idea of "Balance" in which I believes in.
OTHER – Even though he seems to be growing old, a lifetime of constant training has made sure he's not going "obsolete" any time soon.
Oh, and a picture of him in stick form, which the best I can manage to get
'Cept without the white hair.
