Jenso blinked as Nexus tapped his head. He smirked at him. "You're right...If the enemy is too strong, all I have to do is get stronger, right?" Jenso said casually, with confidence in his eyes. "I do feel that I've gotten a lot stronger since I began this journey...I just have to keep going!" Jenso stated. "I can do it! I'll beat the order no matter what! For everyone, and for myself!"

"Wrong!" Nexus shouted, "No! You're already strong! You already have strength! You keep trying to push yourself in a direction that ends with your demise, every time! You're just pushing! Pushing! Pushing!! That isn't peaceful, that's suicidal!" Nexus ranted, waving his arms about.

"HOLY SHIT!!" Jenso shrieked, staggering back a bit. He didn't expect that someone who seemed so calm like Nexus, would raise his voice like that. "Wow uh...sorry.." Jenso muttered. "You mean that I need to have faith in what I can already do? But...both Prisma and Rajaka nearly killed me, and Yzeira did! That just means I'm lacking in strength, right?!" Jenso said to Nexus. "I don't mean to argue with you, but...it just seems un logical to be confident without the strength to back it up."

"Strength isn't everything. Even if you could get as strong as Rajaka, for example, you wouldn't be able to do much against somebody who has an absolutely infinite energy supply, the ability to regenerate in seconds, and immeasurable strength. You'll never be stronger than Rajaka, ever. That much is a fact. But that does not mean you cannot achieve peace. You're thinking too much about strength, and not enough about your mind, the way you think, and how you perceive things. you are still a child!"

Jenso sighed as Nexus spoke. "Maybe I do have to have more faith in my strength...after all, I've been relying on it for so long to survive." Jenso spoke as he calmed down, thinking back about all the times he was in trouble but managed to survive through willpower and strength. "You're right. Losing isn't the end, right?" Jenso said with a smirk, referring to the specific line that Lark taught him. He'd gotten over the fact that he'd been beaten now. "I'll do my best to train my mind, Nexus..I have enough strength right now." Jenso said.

Nexus sighed and shrugged. "Hopefully you'll have an eternity to learn. I'm sure it will be an entertaining ride for the oncoming months. I would advise you teach yourself in stride. Rushing will net you nothing, remember that."

Jenso nodded respectfully to Nexus. "I understand." Jenso said in a calm tone. "You are my teacher after all, and I'll listen. I won't rush and take my time." Jenso said.

Nexus shrugged and walked off into the transparent fields, making his way towards the hilly landscape where he initially sat. "I'm going to meditate. Let me know if you need anything."

Months passed in Nexus' dream dimension, but nothing about the atmosphere changed. Jenso never got hungry, or thirsty, and the air was pure. Truly, it paralleled heaven. Jenso had made progress, or at least, Nexus had hoped so. He didn't spend much time talking to Jenso, save for a bit of advice here and there. The blue oaf spent most of his time meditating on his favorite patch of hills.

Jenso was out in the transparent fields, training his abilities. "Flame whip!!" Jenso shouted, launching a whip at a nearby rock from the palm of his right hand. Of course, the whip was actually made of Ki rather then flames within the void, but it didn't matter too much to Jenso. The end of the whip wrapped around it's target. He yanked the whip once, and the whip began to pull the rock towards him at great speed. Jenso rose his left, free hand and smashed it into pieces right when it was in front of him.

After doing so, he threw the whip at another rock as it's end wrapped around it yet again. He yanked the whip twice, and this time the whip pulled Jenso towards the rock instead. Jenso spun around and used his feet as support to land on the rock to avoid crashing into it. After doing so, he wrapped the entire whip around the rock. He released the whip, and it suddenly began to squeeze tighter and tighter around the rock, eventually crushing it onto pieces as the whip faded away.

'Alright, I've mastered how to use this technique now..' Jenso thought. He stomped his feet once, and a burst of flames erupted from below his feet, launching him into the air. He landed on one of the hills. 'I'm not sure if this is what Nexus wanted me to do, but...I sure managed to master my techniques now. It's certainly been a good experience..'

Nexus opened one of his eyes to glare at Jenso, but sighed and shook his head. "Having fun there?" He asked quietly.

Jenso turned to Nexus and smiled. "Well, I've been taking my time to train my techniques and I've never had much time to do so...I've learned not to rush things like you advised me too!" Jenso said. He hopped from hill to hill, landing in front of his teacher. "I'm not sure if I'm doing well or not...but I feel a lot more confident in myself now. I feel like I can beat anyone!"

"You're still caught up on that. Jenso, you're dead. There are no fights to be had here in the afterlife, as it were," Nexus insisted, lowering his shoulders. "What are you training your abilities for?"

Jenso frowned. "Well, I've been meditating and thinking about everything that happened...and then I got bored and trained every now and then. I'm not rushing myself, don't worry.." Jenso stated, sitting down in front of Nexus. "So, how've you been?" He asked in a calm tone. He hoped he would be able to learn the peace power as soon as possible and get revived by Nexus.

"Stressed," Nexus blurted, "It's almost like you've made no progress whatsoever. I'm starting to think I may not be able to teach you anything."

Jenso clenched his fists in anger as Nexus spoke. "I have better shit to do then sit here and meditate! I've been stuck here for 3 months, and all I've done is mess around, train and try to be 'at peace', while my friends can be killed by the Order anywhere, anytime! If you're just here to mess around with me and piss me off before I fade away into the void, job well done." Jenso spat at Nexus. It was possible that the man would respond in an agressive way, but Jenso was ready. He wanted to protect his friends, and this whole training thing was getting in his way.

"You don't get it, do you," Nexus grunted, standing up and towering over Jenso, "Your friends are dead. Your world has overtaken by darkness. You are dead, and you are never going back. I'm here trying to help you deal with that, to achieve a power that will allow you to deal with that. It is for you, not for anyone else."

Jenso's eyes widened in shock as Nexus spoke. He began to shake from the cheer impact that Nexus's words gave him. He collapsed on his knees, looking at the ground. "No...it can't be.." Jenso muttered, with a blank stare on his face. "I was too late...I failed them all..." Jenso muttered, clenching his fists. "DAMN IT!!!" Jenso cried out, repeatedly slamming his right fist into the transparent ground before him. "DAMN IT, DAMN IT!!!.." He shouted, continueing to slam his fist into the ground repeatedly until it was bleeding. Jenso didn't care, though. He slowly stood back up and glared at Nexus while some blood dripped off his fist. "If that's the case...then I don't have any reason to fight anymore. It's all over.."

"It really shouldn't be a surprise to you," Nexus grumbled, returning to his position of meditation.

Jenso stood up and glared at Nexus. He wanted to dash at the man and punch at him, but did it even matter anymore? He was dead, and now his friends were, too. He no longer had the will to keep fighting. He walked away from Nexus, and sat down within the glazebo on the mountain. What was he supposed to do now?
