Jenso stared at the few orbs that were floating before him, but sensed several other orbs beside and behind him. 'Dang, if I couldn't sense them, this attack could have killed me right off the bat..' Jenso thought, as a surge of power rushed through him. He dashed forwards at top speeds, trying to maneuver past the few incoming stretching spikes that he could see before him while moving away from the center where the spikes would clash with eachothers. He launched a flame ball at Yzeira's head with his left hand. 'Just a little more..'

Yzeira took another step forward and swatted Jenso's fireball away with a thin aura covering his right hand, dissipating it instantly. His magic ate away at the arcane energy that held the flames together, and consumed the attack in its entirety. Behind Jenso, the spikes vanished as they collided with a sharp noise, but Yzeira slid his left foot forwards, progressing even further, while also launching a thin vertical wave of energy towards Jenso across the ground, aimed to sliced right through his left thigh.

Jenso's eyes narrowed at Yzeira as he came closer. He dashed to the left to avoid Yzeira's wave of energy, and moved towards his right side. 'This is it, I can't mess this up now..' Jenso thought, launching another flame ball at Yzeira's right knee from the right. He focused on the fireball and made a quick circular spinning motion with his left hand. The flame ball suddenly increased in power and strength. It changed into a circular-shaped flame saw, which was spinning horizontally as it moved.

Yzeira's eyes flickered and he pulled his right arm back, clenching his fingers tightly enough to dent his skin. He flattened his left hand, extending a sharp aura beyond his fingertips and shifting his body further forwards. Before the fireball even changed, he directly aimed his knife-like energy towards where it would be a few seconds later. As the fireballs changed in shape, the angle from which Yzeira struck, hit the flat edge of the fan, and instantly dispersed the technique in a small puff of thin smoke. He stepped forward again and dropped his right hand towards the ground, palm open. A seed of energy dropped into the cracked tiling below him and he turned his back towards Jenso, raising his energy-sharpened left hand up to chest level.

Jenso glared at Yzeira as he cancelled out his flame saw technique with ease before it even reached him. 'He could sense the increase in energy and struck the center to disperse it before it even reached him...This guy is something else.' Jenso thought, looking at Mikey and Lark. It appeared that Yzeira was a good distance away from them now. 'This might be my one and only chance..' He thought. He knew Yzeira's technique would erupt from below, but he didn't know what shape it would have or where exactly it would appear. He used his sensing abilities to try to sense the location of the energy underground.

He feigned as if he was about to dash straight forward at Yzeira's back, hoping that Yzeira would unleash his attack either where he previously stood or in front of him. Rather then moving forward however, Jenso's pupils changed into white flames and he dashed further to the left with insane speeds, in a half circle around Yzeira's left side as white flames erupted powerfully from his heels. He hoped that the sudden increase in speed would catch Yzeira off-guard. He stopped right beside Mikey and Lark, and glared at Yzeira as he kneeled down, put his friends on his shoulders and stood back up. The ferocious, burning white flames that were his pupils gazed straight into Yzeira's eyes.



Jenso stated in a booming and threatening tone, as a massive white flame erupted from his feet and launched him away. As he did so, white flames began to gather around himself, Lark and Mikey. They took the shape of a comet. It appeared that Jenso managed to control the flames well enough to avoid them from harming his allies. Yzeira, on the other hand, would be engulfed and incinerated by white flames if he did not act. The white comet then launched towards the side of the stadium at the speed of a bullet, ramming through the stone wall with extreme force. As it traveled, the sheer heat and power that the flames emitted allowed it to melt straight through, leaving a large gaping hole behind as it launched away from Yzeira.

Jenso quickly felt his energy leave his body as he used the technique, causing the meteor to dissipate. The white flames that were erupting from his feet remained strong, however. 'I've mastered this technique, but...I'm not supposed to be launching forward for so long. Need to get...to a safe place..' Jenso thought, trying to sense the nearest town where he would be able to rest. He tried to get out of Feralda Kingdom at the very least, not wanting to have his or his allies' energies drained by Sera and his men or the king. At the same time, he wasn't even sure if he succesfully escaped from Yzeira, or if he would even be in time to save the lives of his friends.

Yzeira stood resolute, but spun around moments before Jenso was able to make it past him, launching a thin laser through Jenso's leg moments before he was able to take off. But with his superior speed, the white flames propelled him far out of range before the masked man could do much else. He rose both of his arms into a cross guard as the flames spread and engulfed him, and his figure disappeared behind the wall of heated energy. Jenso was gone, and Yzeira was left alone in the center of the stadium.

The flames whipped and whirled in circles as Jenso left the scene, but quickly died down with a reddish dispersal of energy. When the smoke cleared, Yzeira was left standing with his arms still crossed, and a powerful aura surrounding his body. He lowered his arms and glanced in the direction Jenso had headed off in. He placed both his palms closely together and began to conjure a sphere of energy, perfectly round with a visually infinite amount of jirations within itself. With a second's delay, his eyes flashed, and he launched it in Jenso's direction, having it follow the path he took at top speeds.

As Jenso lost energy and the adrenaline of the situation died down somewhat, Jenso felt a sharp pain in his left leg. He grit his teeth as he continued to fly. He sensed that the sphere of energy was flying after him, and he would be unable to dodge fast enough. 'Looks like he survived that...Can't say I'm surprised..' He thought. His energy began to run low, and the sphere was closing in. 'That sphere...if Yzeira can't use it to see me, it...might only lock in on my Ki..' Jenso thought. As he thought all this, Jenso headed towards an area where he sensed several weaker Arcane Systems grouped up together. He suspected that these were humans and that he headed to a town. Jenso formed a white flame ball in his left hand and launched it at the sphere, hoping it would destroy it or at the very least slow it down before it would get anywhere near a populated area. He was unsure what the sphere would do, and he certainly didn't want to find out.

The sphere tore through Jenso's fireball instantly, dispersing it into orange flames, and then into nothing. But the further Jenso went, the slower the sphere started to travel. What was once gaining on him rapidly, now moved slower, and eventually came to a complete stop long before Jenso even came even close to landing.

Yzeira narrowed his eyes and dispersed his sphere as Jenso dissapeared into the horizon, and ultimately, from his vision, after a certain distance was passed. Jenso showed no sign of stopping, and he was going further than Yzeira could have planned for. But he was going straight. If he caught up...

"...It won't matter where you hide."

Jenso landed amidst a collection of individuals that didn't scatter as his body tore across the ground. He dropped Lark and Mikey as he tumbled forward and crashing into a pair of legs that didn't seem to buckle under the pressure. It was strange. The person was standing perfectly resolute and..

"TRESPASSING IN TECH-MO RESEARCH PLAZA!" A Robotic voice announced.

"Ugh..." Jenso muttered, gazing up at the figure before him. As this occured, only two words came into his mind. 'WELL, SHIT.' Jenso slowly got up and took deep breaths, taking a step back to get a proper look at who or whatever spoke at him. It didn't sound human at all. "My...my friends...need help.." Jenso muttered, referring to Lark and Mikey. "Hurry..please.." He said. He was unsure if the robot would be hostile or not, but he wasn't in a state to put up much of a fight. Jenso felt completely drained now. He grit his teeth in pain from the injuries he'd received on his body after crashing, but his main concern was with his friends right now. They were in a far worse condition then he was.

"Wait! Model 86", a voice called out from the group of people that wondered about the city. He was a young man with brown here wearing a black jacket with a weird logo on the back that had a hand holding some sort of futuristic looking wrench of sorts. He was holding a box containing various metal parts as he approached Jenso and friends stopping in front of the robot guard.
"It's fine, this guy right now is my assistant and has been helping me with various task needed for my projects including some of the upgrade for you and your palls that been requested of me for some time now."

"ORDER ACKNOWLEDGED. REGISTERING NEWCOMER AS ASSISTANT TO HEAD TECHNO-GUARD, JEFF. NAME ENTRY REQUIRED-" The bot spouted. Its circuits sparked for a second and it malfunctioned, entering a name for Jenso automatically.

"CITIZEN 616: GOLDEN BOY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR VISIT."

Jenso stared at Jeff for a moment and blinked. "What." Jenso muttered, looking at the robot. He began to realise what Jeff was doing. "Uh...yeah, that's right! It's a good thing I found you, Jeff!" Jenso said with a smirk, learning the man's name by listening to the robot. "Well, it's my pleasure.." Jenso replied to the robot. He did not sense Yzeira's presence in the immediate area around him, so it seemed that he had escaped him for now. Jenso attempted to take one step and cringed in pain due to the hole that Yzeira had blasted in his left leg. He fell on one knee. "Argh...shit.." He muttered. Despite his pain, he looked up at Jeff and smiled. "Thanks for the help dude...that was...too close.." Jenso said. He didn't know who Jeff was and why he helped him, but he could use all the help he could get right now. He was exhausted and was injured at his leg. 'I need to be careful...the king should be around here. He and his men will have an easy time to take me down the way I am now..not to mention that Lark and Mikey need first aid.' He thought.

The robots nearby began to crowd around Jeff and Jenso. Two of them picked up Lark and Mikey abruptly and carried them off.

"DELIVERING UNKNOWN TRESPASSED TO MEDI-BAY," They beeped in unison.

"MASTER JEFF, PLEASE EVACUATE THE AREA. YOU SHOULD KNOW PREPARATIONS FOR THE KING OF FERALDA'S ARRIVAL ARE UNDER WAY. WE ARE ABOUT TO EJECT THE TRANSPORT POD."

"why of course" Jeff said nodding in agreeing manner to the robot guard.
"We can head back to lab to patch you up quickly if you'd like." Jeff whispered quietly to Jenso "after all you just got banged up from trying out these new rocket boots right?" Jeff winked to Jenso to get his attention on the story he was going for with it.

"86, set the transporter for me and my assistant here to my lab."

Jenso felt both relieved and concerned as the robots carried Mikey and Lark off to the Medi-bay. They would most likely be healed and taken care of there, but at the same time the king could simply go there and have their energy drained. Regardless, Jenso wasn't in much of a state to to anything about it. He turned to Jeff and smirked. "Yeah...I think they're a little too strong!" Jenso said with a smirk to Jeff. He was unsure if Jeff had any bad intentions with this whole thing, but it didn't seem like it for now. He might have saved his and his friend's lives by helping just now.

"TRANSPORTERS ARE OFFLINE DUE TO AN ELECTRICAL SURGE THAT OCCURRED APPROXIMATELY 4.2 MINUTES AGO, MASTER JEFF. UNFORTUNATELY, YOU WILL HAVE TO WALK. I APOLOGIZE FOR THIS. A SUDDEN SURGE OF ARCANO-MATTER IS TO BLAME. WE DON'T KNOW WHERE IT CAME FROM," 86 explained briefly, pointing towards one of the metallic pathways out of the research area.

"A surge huh... I'll have to look into that later.." Jeff responded glancing at Jenso for a brief moment. "Can you walk?" he asked the wounded man. "I have a medi bay at the lab that I use for androids and cyborgs that come by my place for repairs, it works fine for regular people too though."

"Sorta..." Jenso muttered, struggling to stand. "I hurt my left leg pretty badly though...I don't think I can stand on it." Jenso admitted. Right now, the best thing he could do was go along with Jeff. He hoped that the man intended to keep his word.

As Jeff lead Jenso out of the research district, the robots gathered around the central shutters that made up the entirety of the plaza's ground. Each robot was humanoid with a rectangular head. A single blue eye glowed in each of their skulls, much like golem hearts, as they stepped away and the shutters opened to reveal a large balloon-like mechanism with a little pod underneath it.

Meanwhile, several guards were lining the streets and halls that Jeff lead Jenso through, all armed with the same equipment that the men back in Feralda's castle had been equipped with. They glared at Jenso through their visors silently as the two passed by.

Even still, something was lurking through the streets of the kingdom, searching curiously for its next mark. It looked onto Jenso from afar, hiding in the shadows with a devilish grin.
