This starts shortly after Sango joins with Inuyasha and friends.
Roy had been wandering through the forest, looking a bit horrified after he had discovered his home village completely destroyed. No one was left, everyone was dead. He instinctively ran off from the scene in hopes of reuniting with his beloved, somehow he knew she had survived the whole ordeal. He was set on his path to kill a 'young' demon in a red cloak with long, silver hair, according to a strange being in a baboon pelt, he was the one responsible for the heinous slaughter of his home. With a mixture of anger, sadness, and fear Roy had left quickly, planning to murder the demon and his allies if what the baboon said was true.
