Hylo, one other thing you and I should come to a head on is how we're going to get you some Battle Experience early on. Soldier has said that the old Magikarp Method will work, but even if that's a known strategy in the RP's universe I don't think Seth would willfully employ it. So, if there's some reason for Togepi to put herself into battles without Seth calling her, or some other thought you may have on the matter, I'm all ears!

@Raijinslayer Same goes for Hestia, if you've got anything in particular in mind feel free, otherwise I'm cool with having her go into the forest and running into him at some point.

I did have some thoughts about how Seth might encounter Togepi, mostly along the lines of her actively looking for a minion trainer after her friends had been caught by other trainers. Quite possibly, she'd been caught by trainers before, and released after they realised that she wasn't exactly a great catch. Obviously this'll need fleshing out, but it's quarter past midnight for me at the moment, and so my brain is starting to get a little bit fuzzy.

So, if there's some reason for Togepi to put herself into battles without Seth calling her, or some other thought you may have on the matter, I'm all ears!

I kind of imagined Togepi as having something to prove - especially if she's gone through a few trainers who have all gone "nah, it's not worth keeping that one" - so perhaps that sort of attitude can manifest itself well through wanting to take part in battles, even when it's not such a good idea. I'll have a bit of a think about this further (after some sleep!) and hopefully come up with something that makes a bit more sense in the morning.

Well as far as capture goes I did have a few ideas, they involve Shinx getting closer to / inside Viridian City and therefore Seth after fighting a bunch of wild pokemon. Now I'm not sure how I want the next part to play out.

I could have Shinx become overconfident in his abilities and as such he gets utterly stomped by a much stronger pokemon he picked a fight with. This loss would only add to his desire for power so Shinx then seeks out a trainer willing to help him become as strong as the stories he has heard.

Or I could have Shinx running from some rather angry pokemon and as a result he ends up in Viridian City while trying to find somewhere to hide from them, if Shinx is unsuccessful he will likely get the tar kicked out of him. If this happens Shinx will try to find a trainer so that he can become strong enough to stop these pokemon and get revenge on them.

Like I said earlier, I'm not sure how I want this to pan out, but these are just a few ideas I had. If you have any ideas on where I can go from here, please tell me.

On the topic of nicknames however... I have no ideas, at least not at the moment.

@Saltwater ThiefYeah, that seems fine. I was just imagining them running into each other for the meet-up. Also, I'll try to get a post up for this sometime soon, sorry for the wait. It's just been hectic lately with the current quarter coming to a close.

In the collab so far, Zorua caught his trainer and nicknamed his trainer. He is close to taking a nap now, if Boss does not do anything that ask his attention.

I even can see Zorua walking off somewhere and then a hour later comes running to you guys for dear life with a bunch of angry pokemon/trainers at his tail.
