Howdy-do, friends, and welcome to my first-ever interest check and my first post on this site. It's really a momentous occasion. You, as my guests, really should bring gifts. Champagne, perhaps? I'm not picky, the cheap stuff will do fine, but I reckon champagne is a "first-ever-post-on-this-site" kinda drink. Wine will be acceptable, I suppose. Or Dr. Pepper. I like Dr. Pepper.
Anywhoozers, how's it goin'? Let's get the details out of the way, eh?
-I'm into all sort of things. Romance? Check. Sci-Fi? Check. Fantasy? You know it. Slice of life? I dig it. Military? Damn straight. Romance Sci-Fi Fantasy Military Slice of life? Hells yes.
-If we do include romance, I strongly prefer MxF pairings, with my primary character as the male. Other relationships with side characters are anything-goes.
-Never really done smut before. If that's a must-have for you, then I'm cool with it. I won't do smut for the sake of smut, though. I'd like it to fit the story and the characters, ya dig?
-Contact me through PM's.
-I'll include some ideas/pairings, but please don't feel limited by them. If you want to do something I haven't thought of, just lemme know.
-Posting-wise, try to give me like two paragraphs. At least. If you write more, I’ll try to match, but I can’t promise I’ll reply with the quickness if we’re writing each other novels. Doesn’t mean I won’t try, though.
-If you read this, tell me what your favorite band/musical artist/supergroup is. I could give less of a shit if you read the rules, but I want an excuse to talk about music.

A NOTE ABOUT FANDOM. I REFUSE TO MESS AROUND WITH CANON CHARACTERS UNLESS THEY ARE RELEGATED TO A SIDE ROLE. OC’s are the way to go, in my personal opinion.
This is a plot, based on the Halo games. This will take place just a bit after first contact; Harvest, Second Base, and Green Hills have all been glassed. The Spartans have yet to roll out in full force, so the defense of humanity is up to UNSC Marines and ODST’s who barely understand their enemy, the Covenant.
Our characters would be, as stated, marines. Or ODST’s. We’d follow their progress as they fight a losing war, watching comrade after comrade die in what seems to be a hopeless battle.
Romance could be slotted in here, and I think it’d work very well. What breeds passion for a person like surviving the unsurvivable with them? That isn’t to say that romance is required, however. A platonic camaraderie would be interesting as well.
Also, once we get rolling, we don’t have to follow canon.
I figure we could explore the anger that comes with being sent on suicide mission after suicide mission by a government that sees you as disposable.
I don’t have any plots, yet. Just pairings.

You can probably tell I have had a full time job and social life prevent me from being as active as I would like. Add that to having roleplays die on me I have given up on more than the one occasion. 🤣
@My Own Hero Aw, hope things get better RP wise. Lately I've been having luck with RPs that don't die. Sadly I did get really bored of some, so here I am looking for new experiences. Also GMing mah own RP. Always a good choice if ur bored.
