Gday folks!

Just stumbled across this site here while idly googling around the internets looking for new and interesting starships. Did a poke around and there's a few things going on that catch my eye.

I'm a self-proclaimed world-builder who is searching for an active community to play around in - long posts, epic spacebattles, lots of lasers and missiles and all that fun stuff. I plead guilty to being a trekkie, a star wars fan, Mass Effect, Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica, anything with starships has piqued my interest. I haven't seen much anime, but I have seen enough to know what series a given ship is from. Mostly.

I've got my own little world (nothing little about it) and I enjoy taking my characters for a stroll in all sorts of scenarios, anyone interested?

I haven't seen it anywhere so I'll ask - is there a specific place one goes to post charsheets and the like? And is there a separate place to go to solicit interest in telling a story? Or should I just throw something up with a brief blurb of what I'm looking for and see who jumps on board?

All interest check forums are open for soliciting folks to your dark desires stories, and there's a forum near the bottom for general sheets as well.

Glad to see more guys that like space stuff join the board. I recently completed the Mass Effect trilogy for the second time and man has that ignited something in me again. Probably going to do it again, very soon. One of my favorite trilogies of all time.

I haven't played it yet, sadly! I have heard some bad things about the animations in ME:A and have seen short clips about it on the internet. I don't mind that too much though, even though I would like it to better. I'm going to play it anyways though because I simply love Mass Effect! (love is an understatement)

I've heard about the facial expressions issue, and kinda seen it myself. Honestly, I don't care. I got the game for the story, not to stare at peoples' faces. It's a LOOONG game. Two weeks and I've only just finished the first planet.
