He thinks for a moment. "Hey! I got it. We have a 1 mile train set, a legitimate 1 mile set, for the track. If you feel like being artistic and creative, you can set the track up. The set has been stuck in the same looped configuration for like a year. There are tunnels, mountains, flat paths, tree's just layout the track however you want."

Ele thought for a bit. She did have creative skills, sometimes she was very creative with how she problem-solved, and this seemed like a nice challenge that would keep her from going crazy. A 1-mile track was long though, so she looked at Tyler again,
"I won't be able to finish it all today, is it alright if I come in with you for a few days to get it done?"

"Oh of course. This is kind of a calming hobby. We are supposed to get an amazing shipment of trains in here in a few days. All early 1900's steam powered cast iron toys. I don't mean 1900's style either." He smiles and brings her into the back, showing her the massive display with the train track looping around the outside of a 10 by 15 foot table with a few pieces set inside the ring making up most the track. "About 3 quarters of the track is there so we still have a quarter mile we can use."

Zeroing in on the materials, Ele walked around the table, examining everything until she was satisfied. Nodding her head, Ele raised her head to look at Tyler,
"Do you have a pencil, and large paper I could use? I'd like to do some draw ups before I take everything apart. I can have them done in a couple of days and see if you like them."
Eke was on a roll now, this was something she could enjoy. Examining a problem, finding solutions. It was what she did.

He smirks and grabs a pad of graph paper. He brings it over to her with a 24 pack of pencils made for sketching and finishing. The graph paper is 22 by 17 with 24 lines per square inch. "There you go, I am gonna get back to the dyno. Have fun with it."

He walks back out and the dyno is surrounded by people with rc's. He starts running people through testing their power while Ele is doing her drawing. He runs in occasionally after some of the runs and grabs different parts and tools. He continues this the rest of the day until it is closing time. He walks to the back and finds Ele. "Hey Ele, it is the end of the day." He says to her.

Ele was deep into her sketching, pieces of paper around her with concept art laid out for reference. She had even taken pieces of the track and models onto the floor so she could sketch them correctly. When Tyler entered again, she looked up blinking. Four hours had flown by and she felt like she was in a dream,
"Woah!"
She said, gathering the papers and stacking them on top of the pad. She picked up the model pieces and placed them carefully back onto the table,
"Four hours went by much quicker! Thank you for letting me do this!"
Ele said happily, holding the papers and pencils to her chest as she went to Tyler. Her eyes were bright and cheeks pink with happiness as she grinned,
"I think you're really going to like some of these ideas!"

His friend from earlier already having left. He pulls down the gate on the store after putting the dyno away. He walks out with Ele after closing everything. He walks to his truck and opens her door first, holding his arm out for her to use for support.

He laughs. "The resort is beyond my house. I have to pick up the coupon for it to give to my buddy too. So we can drop the truck off, pick up another vehicle that is better on gas and drive to the resort afterwards." He closes the door for her and walks around to his door, climbing in. He turns on the truck and takes off. The radio turning up slowly as he hits a button on the back of the steering wheel to turn it up. The music playing was modern country. "My house is about an hour drive, the resort is about another 20 minutes from my house."

"Not really in the middle of nowhere, I have like 2 dozen neighbors in a mile stretch and the resort is about a half mile off the main road." He chuckles. "Given they are both in the country technically but it isn't like you wouldn't be seen."

He laughs. "I have a 3 bedroom house. The closest anybody will ever be to me while in bed is either in bed with me or 20 feet away." As he is driving along down the back roads somebody pulls up alongside him and revs in a corvette. He smiles and says. "Time to shut this noob down." He drops a gear stomps the gas and leaves the corvette far behind him. "Kid keeps on trying to challenge my status as king of the concrete here." He turns the corner and continues on his way home.

"Procharged 5.3 LS based engine. I have it on the stock boost for the procharger and it still makes almost 700hp. On full boost this truck makes almost 1,200hp. That kid put a small turbo on his, only makes like 300hp with that turbo." He laughs. "Kid thinks he could pull me on a track and also thinks I am giving this truck all it has when I take off on him. I am only going about half throttle on the weakest setting with the procharger."

Ele teased, looking out the window at the passing wintry landscape. As the town melted away to fields, the views became even more stunning and Ele couldn't help but stare. In the city, when it snowed, the stuff was immediately corrupted by the dirty streets and stomping feet. Here, fields stretched endlessly in pristine blankets of white. Trees were decorated with frost icicles, and the farm houses looked like they were set in paintings.
"It's beautiful out here."
Ele said in a soft voice, committing the view to memory.

"You have seen nothing yet." He chuckles and nods at her assuredly. "My house is surrounded by tree's, specifically pine tree's." He keeps driving coming up to a farm house on a field but covered in trees that ran the perimeter of the field. "Oak tree's right here. You probably only ever see them in furniture. This is what they look like up close." He slows down and creeps by it, the house surrounded by a few dozen tree's, some 30 or 40 feet tall. "I have some this size by my house." He pulls away, then turns the corner heading right. They pass by farmland then forest switching randomly between them for some time.

Ele gasped, twisting to see the trees disappearing behind them. Coming back to the front, Ele pulled out her phone and began taking a few pictures every so often, knowing that she needed to preserve these scenes for later.
"We don't really have trees or green things near me, unless you go to the park, but even then its all so carefully pruned and groomed that it feels fake. This is all so..."
Ele searched for the right word as she let her eyes look across Tyler to the view outside his window,
"Real."
