Personal Style: Starkette tends to dress the way a detective or private eye in an old black and white film would--she has a pair of gloves on at all times, partnered with a smart blazer and the rest of the components of a standard power suit, with a skirt replacing the slacks. Her colors generally match her hair in some manner.
Psychology
Decisive * Obsessive * Geeky * Detail Oriented (Nearing OCD)
Sexuality: Biromantic
Relationship Status: Dating a Fictional Character
Personality: Starkette isn't one to suffer fools. She instead fixates on the smaller details and ensures that everything is executed efficiently. Sometimes, this can cause her to lose sight of the bigger picture, and potentially make mistakes from it. Yet with these decisions, she doesn't change her mind. If she makes a choice, that's the choice she's going to make. For example, her being an undeclared major is entirely terrifying to her--she's used to calling the shots and making choices, and here, she doesn't know what choice to make.
A nerd to the core, Starkette will go on and on and on about references to various fandoms and games, and complain about the slightest deviations to what she deems acceptable. She's obsessive, bingeing on anything that interests her to the point that once she's done, she's most likely sick of it. For example, she read the entire Harry Potter series in only three days, and then watched all of the films in one sitting. This obsession has caused her to do well at whatever she attempts, but also to sacrifice her social life. At the moment, Starkette is obsessed with games that allow the FullDive experience--Sword Art Online.

History
Why are you playing SwordArt Online? Starkette is the ultimate nerd and SAO seems to be the ultimate game. With the FullDive experience allowing for complete immersion, it's the dream of virtual reality come true. The game would be the most realistic and the most enjoyable she's ever experienced, the next step from augmented reality games such as Pokemon Go. Starkette wouldn't be caught dead not playing the game; it would be as unnatural as Stan Lee not making a cameo in a Marvel movie. Things just aren't done that way with the universe remaining in balance. She's the ultimate geek, the best nerd--of course she wants to play SAO.
Life Prior to Playing SwordArt:
Starkette, born as Guinevere Victoria Stark, was the daughter of the CEO of a major computer company and a reality TV show star. The couple had gotten together as a result of a show akin to the bachelor, only for the starlet to leave the CEO soon after Guinevere was born. Mr. Stark's company was called Camelot Industries, due to his obsession with the King Arthur legends. They specialized in engineering the most complex of softwares and programs, hiring only the very best. Mr. Stark and his daughter, Guinevere, enjoyed obscene wealth, especially when Camelot Industries was contracted to help with the design and safety testing of the nerve gear.
However, this was a process that took several years, beginning far before Sword Art Online was released. Guinevere grew up a bit troubled, due to be famous as Guinevere Stark, and constantly bombarded by the press. Bodyguards and a team of household staff attempted to attend to her each and every needs, but instead, she grew more secluded. She went to boarding school with the children of other celebrities and prominent officials, and at one point, her best friend was the daughter of Britain's Prime Minister. When at home, she would hole up in her room, playing video games, reading books, doing anything but interact with real people.
Because of the requirements of her boarding school, her PE lessons were mostly focused on defense, and she grew quite skilled in combat. She also learned some computer skills from her father, interning at Camelot Industries during the summer, as he intended for her to take the company over one day. Of course, Guinevere still has no idea what she wants to be in real life, and instead has been focusing on the virtual, running away from her problems.
But after all, she's rich -- or at least her father is -- does she really need to have a job one day?
Life Since Playing SwordArt: Given that Starkette wasn't a beta tester, she hasn't been playing it rather long. However, there is one thing she's cherished already: given the avatar customization, no one has recognized her. Her alias, Starkette (meaning little Stark, a play on her last name), has also allowed her to have more privacy. For once in her life, Starkette is free from the shadows her parents cast.
It would be such a shame if the avatars were reset to be their true appearance....So sad....Poor Starkette....

Guin Stark
Character Summary
Name: Guinevere Victoria Stark
Aliases: Starkette, Guin, Guina (by Pietro only), Iron Jr., Violet Sparrow
Age: 20
Birthday: January 19th, 2000
Birth Place: New York, New York
Gender: Female
Powers: Mind Switch
Editorial Nickname: the Stark Legacy
Alignment: Chaotic Good
How many years have they been at the mansion?: Two
Appearance

Weight: 130 pounds
Build: Curvy
Eyes: Blue-green
Hair: Golden Brown
Skin Tone: Lightly tanned
Tattoos/Scars/Piercings: Rebel Alliance Insignia on Left Ankle; Jagged scar on midsection; Small scar on left shoulder
Personal Style: In formal settings, Guin gravitates towards a blazer, gloves, and slacks. She isn't very much into skirts or dresses at all. However, in day to day scenarios, she loves combat boots and flannels thrown over a concert t-shirt. She prioritizes comfort over style, wanting something that's easy to move around in and work on, given how much time she spends leaning over engines. However, that doesn't mean she dresses like a slob. On occasion, she will just steal Pietro's clothes and wear them instead.
Psychology
Decisive * Obsessive * Geeky * Impulsive * Clever * Stubborn
Sexuality: Bisexual
Relationship Status: Dating Pietro Maximoff (Silver Balls)
Personality: Guin is very clearly her father's daughter. She is incredibly intelligent and her mind processes information at a speed that only speedsters can rival, causing her to be able to quickly solve tricky engineering problems in seconds. Her quick wit and intelligence cause her to spew near constant sarcasm, as well as act a bit impulsive. Once she's made her mind up on something, it's rare that she'll actually change it. It also means that she can sometimes lose sight of the bigger picture, instead focusing on the problems she can solve at the moment.
Her geekiness goes hand in hand with her obsessive nature. Her words are laced with references to her favorite movies and games, stemming from the fact that she tends to binge on anything that interests her. For example, she watched both Star Wars trilogies for the first time in one day. And then watched them again the next day. And the day after that....Of course, this obsession also shows up when it comes to projects she's working on. She's much more likely to throw herself at a problem, working day and night (fueled only by energy drinks) until she's finished with it.

History
How did you discover your powers: Guin had no powers - or so she thought. She became one of the youngest S.H.I.E.L.D. agents in history, at the tender age of 18 years old. When she turned eighteen, she was approached by S.H.I.E.L.D. due to her unique relationship with the Avengers. While James Rhodes may be her godfather on paper, the Avengers team as a whole tends to act as if they are her godparents as well. S.H.I.E.L.D. needed someone who could act as a liaison between various groups of enhanced individuals and she fit the bill. Agent Coulson was the one who pulled the strings to hire her, as well as to protect her identity.
It was through her work with S.H.I.E.L.D. that Guin ended up at the Brotherhood Headquarters in New York. She was part of a team attempting to stop Magneto from releasing a virus that would wipe out the human race. During the mission, she ended up going head to head against Scarlet Witch - and then something strange happened. She found herself in Scarlet Witch's body, able to control all of Wanda's powers. At first, she thought it was Scarlet Witch that had caused them to swap, but Guin later realized it was her - she was a mutant. The stress of the situation must have caused a non-expressed X-gene to appear.
General History: Guin is the only daughter of Tony Stark and reality TV star Maddie Le Fay (born Madison Cromwell). Her parents met on a program similar to the Bachelor and hooked up on set, causing the tabloids to go wild. Of course, the headlines and the drama only increased when Tony didn't pick her mother as the winner of the show. It wasn't until Maddie realized she was pregnant that the pair saw each other again, and nine months later, little baby Guinevere had arrived.
Guin was sent to live with Tony, since her mother decided she couldn't be bothered to care for an infant as she was signing onto more and more reality shows. Her childhood, understandably, was fairly troubled as reporters swarmed her no matter where she went. They would wait outside of Stark Tower (later called Avengers Tower) just to get a glimpse at her, to get the shot for the Daily Bugle of the youngest Stark and future owner of Stark Industries, a weapons manufacturing company at the time. They were hoping that she'd prove to be as reckless and wild as her father in order to sell papers.
When she was seven years old, Tony sent Guin off to boarding school. Or rather, Rhodey and Happy suggested it and Tony was too drunk to argue with them. Her classmates at the school were the children of celebrities and government officials, with her best friend at one point being the daughter of Britain's Prime Minister. It did wonders for her social development, but each time she was back in New York, the mobs would start again and Guin would withdraw into her room, not wanting to deal with them.
At the age of ten, her father was abducted by the Ten Rings--a terrorist organization in Afghanistan--and held hostage for three months. The security at Guin's school was increased, as there were fears that the heiress to Stark Industries would be targeted next. (Of course, they were correct to be afraid, as it would later turn out that Obidiah, a family friend, had been responsible for the near murder of Tony Stark, all in a ploy to seize control of Stark Industries). Her school also provided Guin with extra lessons in defense, lessons that allowed her to become quite skilled in combat and would later be continued with Black Widow.
When Guin reached her teens, she fell heavily into the gaming community. She eventually used the name Starkette when online, a nickname that her father had given her when she jokingly asked what her Avengers codename would be. She learned how to hack into systems and how to build computers, showing off the skills that her father and her grandfather both boasted. Whenever she was home in New York, she was messing around with her father and his machines, even managing to take Iron Man suits for joyrides in New York, and crashing a fair number of them into the river.
But it was clear that boarding school wasn't working out for her. When she was fifteen, the Brotherhood attacked her school and ended up holding her hostage. It was the beginning of a bit of a downward spiral, as her Stark intelligence was causing her thoughts to accelerate more and more, and she wanted to slow them down - to get them in sync with the speed of the world. She ended up doing drugs and landed herself in rehab by the time she was sixteen, spending her seventeenth birthday in the clinic. After this, Tony had decided that enough was enough and he transferred her to Midtown Science and Tech, hoping that he could keep a better eye on her.
Midtown Science and Tech was a better fit for her than boarding school had been, but it still wasn't easy. She went to school with her best friend, Lance, and got into detention plenty of times for mouthing off to the teachers. It wasn't until an incident involving Hammer Industries at the Stark Expo occurred that she began to get her act together. In addition to this inner struggle, most of the kids at school also begged for her to throw parties and ditch Lance. She ended up being outcasted once they figured out she wasn't a partier like her father, but she didn't mind. She had true friends at that point.
She interned at Stark Industries, partially out of nepotism but also because she was gifted when it came to computers and tech, and earned a full ride to New York University. Her father had wanted her to go to M.I.T. but she was a New Yorker at heart and didn't want to leave the city. And besides, N.Y.U. was the first place to recognize that Guin might have an interest beyond computers and machines, accepting her for a Chemical and Molecular Engineering program. Of course, her interest in the program came from her father's arc reactor.
The summer before her first year of college, she was then approached by S.H.I.E.L.D. to work as an agent for them, giving her life some focus that she needed. She accepted the offer in a heartbeat, excited at the prospect of working for S.H.I.E.L.D., and began assisting the X-Men and S.H.I.E.L.D. After the events in the Brotherhood Arc, where Guin discovered her mutation, she took an educational leave from S.H.I.E.L.D. and graduated from N.Y.U with her undergraduate degree. She's been living at the Institute for the time being as a member of the X-Men, trying to figure out what exactly she wants to do with her life. Does she want to go back to S.H.I.E.L.D. and become a full agent? Does she want to get her PhD? Does she want to eventually run her father's company? Or does she want to continue to be a member of the X-Men?

"We butt heads sometimes, but we're still best friends."
While Guin and Marygold can get into some epic arguments when they have a disagreement, those rarely happen. Instead, the pair of them are often hanging out together and chatting. Ever since Guin began her assignment with the X-Men back when she joined S.H.I.E.L.D., she had been reporting to Marygold and Professor X. It really helped to foster a friendship between the two girls, to the extent that Guin considers Marygold to be her best friend in the world. If she needs anything, Guin will get it done for her, no questions asked.
☯ Ayita Dyrkin ☯
"I wonder what her animagus form would be..."
"I wonder what her animagus form would be..."
Guin finds Ayita's power to be incredible and once she gets to know the woman better, she's definitely going to ask if she could shift to an extinct species. Of course, there are other questions she has that are better left unsaid. However, she has noticed that Ayita has a decent taste in music and per Ayita's request (despite Ayita changing her mind a moment later), Guin has been working on designing a little piece of tech to assist Ayita on missions.
✿ Oshea Jackson ✿
"Speedy? We're tight."
"Speedy? We're tight."
After the battle at the power plant, Oshea and Guin discovered they had a few things in common. Namely, a love of video games, junk food, and building things. Guin's an engineer at heart, so she loves having someone to design things with and to construct them, especially if the things have no obvious use or purpose.
✿ Allison Andrews ✿
"She's definitely a bubbly personality."
"She's definitely a bubbly personality."
Guin and Allison have become friends over the past month or so. It helped that Allison was close with Guin's best friend, but the pair of them honestly enjoy hanging out with each other. Plus, it doesn't hurt that Guin is willing to share "celebrity gossip" with Allison about her father and some of his friends.
✿ Professor X ✿
"He's got a big heart."
"He's got a big heart."
Guin has always respected Professor X, appreciating the time he takes out of his day to get to know her and to work with her. It's rare to meet someone like Xavier, since it's so easy to become consumed by rage and turn into the likes of Magneto. To Guin, Professor X ranks up there with individuals like Gandhi. He's doing so much to make the world a better place, doing more in a week than most people do in a lifetime.
✿ Hank McCoy ✿
"He's become something like a mentor to me over the past month."
"He's become something like a mentor to me over the past month."
With Guin's "return" to college, her schedule became much busier. She spent her mornings in New York City at N.Y.U., working on her labs for her degree in chemical and molecular engineering. After the four to six hour lab ended, she'd then hop in one of her father's cars and head back to Xavier's Institute. Hank's been a rock of support for her lately, helping her with lab reports and keeping her stress levels down. He's even offered to let her work in the lab with him.
❦/❅ Cassandra Reed ❦/❅
"She's the sister I never had and didn't know I wanted."
"She's the sister I never had and didn't know I wanted."
Guin has always had a close relationship with her Supervising Officer (S.O.). Cassandra serves as her mentor for S.H.I.E.L.D. operations, but also helps Guin juggle getting her bachelor's degree and simultaneously, training on the job as a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. If there's anyone that Guin trusts implicitly and would never defy, it'd be Cassandra.
☯ Damon Fawkes ☯
"His power has to be the most insane thing in the known universe."
"His power has to be the most insane thing in the known universe."
Guin wishes that she and Damon got along, mostly because the power to turn your tattoos into actual beings? That's awesome as fuck. Her admiration of the power could be compared to Iron Man's curiosity over the Hulk. Unfortunately, Guin loves chaos and Damon prefers order. The pair of them likely won't become good friends anytime soon.
☠ Nina van Essenhout ☠
"If it walks like a bitch and it talks like a bitch..."
"If it walks like a bitch and it talks like a bitch..."
Needless to say, Guin and Marina don't get along. At all. And the day that they do get along is the day that world peace is finally achieved. Not only did Nina steal classified blueprints from Stark Industries and seduce Guin's father, but the woman has the nerve to treat her like a child. Guin begrudgingly works with Nina, but she doesn't trust the woman. And despite Nina's good relationship with someone Guin looks up to dearly, she doubt she ever will.
❦ Tony Stark ❦
"Four words. Genius billionaire playboy philanthropist."
"Four words. Genius billionaire playboy philanthropist."
To an outsider, Guin and Tony don't have the best of relationships. The two of them are constantly arguing with each other, as they're both incredibly stubborn. However, this fighting arises because of how similar the two are. They have almost identical personalities and do care fiercely about the other, even if it looks a little odd to outsiders. Guin would never openly admit this, but she looks up to her father. He's been her hero long before he became Iron Man.
♡ Pietro Maximoff ♡
"He's weird. I really like him."
"He's weird. I really like him."
Guin has dated a few people before, but she's never really had a proper boyfriend. The circumstances in which she met Pietro practically came from the screenplay of a romantic comedy, and as silly as it sounds, there's something about him that she just can't quite put her finger on. They have the same taste in music, enjoy the same games, and Guin genuinely enjoys spending time with him. Of course, he's incredibly hot, which doesn't hurt.
✿ Carolina Reed ✿
"She's my S.O.'s little sister."
"She's my S.O.'s little sister."
While Carolina and Guin don't have much in common, Guin treats Carolina like a friend. She's Cassandra's younger sister and new to the X-Men, as well as having a decorated past from what Guin has read in the S.H.I.E.L.D files. The two of them manage to get along fairly well, despite not hanging out with each other or interacting too much. Most of their interaction is through Cassandra.

"We argue over a lot of dumb things. Last week, it was if an elevator lifted Thor's hammer, is it worthy of the power of Thor?"
Ever since Guin joined the X-Men and no longer shared a room with Marygold, their friendship became stronger. Marygold no longer had to put up with frequent requests for Pietro to "sleep over." They hang out a fair deal now, occasionally butting heads due to their stubborn personalities. If there was anyone in the world that Guin considered a sister, it's Marygold. They've been there for each other for a lot of crazy things in the past few years.
🎆 Ayita Dyrkin 🎆
"There are some calls that we never want to make."
Although others may be wary of Ayita after she killed Wonderland, Guin doesn't hold it against her. In the heat of the moment, in combat, tough decisions have to be made. She doesn't doubt that Wonderland would have killed Ayita if she had the chance. But this is the mentality that they have at S.H.I.E.L.D. - that some threats will inevitably have to be eliminated. Ayita made a choice that has left many a good agent sleepless and filled with guilt. She has to respect her for bearing that weight.
💙 Allison Andrews 💙
"Everything that happened...It changed her."
While Guin will take just about any excuse to spend her father's money - and that certainly means taking Allison out on a shopping trip - the two of them have had their friendship strengthen. After all of the fighting with the Brotherhood, Allison began to confide in Guin. And while Guin isn't always the most traditionally sympathetic of people, she cares deeply about her friends. Just as Guin fills Allison in on the latest celebrity gossip, she also serves as a shoulder for Allison to lean on when she needs it.
🎆 Charles Xavier 🎆
"I should probably be angry with him."
Xavier knew that Guin was a mutant long before she herself discovered that fact, thanks to the power of Cerebro. Even Guin is shocked that she isn't furious at him for withholding that piece of information and she can't explain why she isn't. She no longer sees him as the gentle grandfather figure she did when she first met. A little bit of that illusion has vanished. He's a good man - but even Xavier can't have all the answers.
💛 Hank McCoy 💛
"Hey, sorry about making a mess in the lab...again..."
Beast helped to mentor Guin as she completed her undergraduate education, earning her degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. While she has returned to her more computerized roots in terms of engineering, she does use the lab from time to time. Beast has given her a space in which she can work, letting her tinker around with whatever tickles her fancy at the time. He's an excellent colleague and a good friend.
💗/💓 Pietro Maximoff 💓/💗
"I feel safe when I'm around him."
Before Pietro, Guin hadn't gone on many dates. There had been a few boys and girls in high school, but nothing ever lasted. Now she's been in a steady relationship for over a year and while the thought of that level of commitment goes contrary to how she was raised, she's deeply in love with Pietro Maximoff. He helped her learn to control her mutation and she's been teaching him about chemical engineering (the end goal is to find an alcohol that will actually get the speedster drunk...It's a work in progress).

💛 Carolina Reed 💛
"Our whole universe was in a hot, dense state! Then nearly fourteen billion years ago expansion started, wait!"
Guin and Carolina have continued to be friends, bonding over a Big Bang Theory marathon in June, right after Guin graduated from N.Y.U. They have similar mutations and have done a session in the Danger Room together once, but Guin hasn't opened up to Carolina much beyond that. She's a bit of a private person - loud, yes, but private. It also doesn't hurt that Guin is good friends with Carolina's sister.
💛 Charlie Farrier 💛
"Rematch, punk."
Guin and Charlie interact primarily through video games. She used to be pretty deep in the gaming community - but that doesn't mean she's stopped playing by any means. She just prefers amateur gaming now, no longer working in the competitive arena and going head to head against other gamers at conventions during tournaments. Charlie shares her love of video games, with the two of them having built up a friendly rivalry over them. They're fairly evenly matched in terms of skills as well, which helps.
💛 Mira Adebayo 💛
"Hey, Sonic! Take a look at these thrusters, will you?"
Guin met Mira when the younger mutant wandered into the lab one day while she was working. She was teaching herself mechanics by fixing up some old pieces of Stark tech and Mira happened to point out an issue with the stabilizers she herself hadn't seen yet. After being taken aback for a moment, the pair of them instantly hit it off. Mira's technological knowledge and ideas are, in Guin's words, inspired. They're science bros.
💙 Lance Banner 💙
"Double Dash time!!"
Lance and Guin have known each other for about eight years now. At first, their friendship was primarily playing video games, but when they went to the same high school, they were lab partners. She didn't care that his father was the Hulk - so what? Her father was Iron Man. It didn't change who she was as a person - if anything, it was just a little bit of trivia. Plus, it was refreshing to know another kid her age who could keep up with her when it came to science - well, besides Peter. She's unaware of the crush he has on her but she'd never have any sort of romantic interest in him. She'd see him as a brother before she'd ever see him as a potential boyfriend.
🌓 Richard Laine 🌓
"Everyone deserves a second chance."
Guin doesn't trust Richard by any means. From what she's gathered, two things motivate him - his sister and money. Now that he has one, she's watching him carefully to see what his next move will be. He seems to like her but that isn't enough for her to put her guard down around him. But every person does have their price...Maybe one day he can be trusted fully. For now, Guin is giving him a chance to redeem himself. Her family has had their fair share of redemption stories and it'd be hypocritical of her to not give Richard a chance. Hopefully he doesn't make her regret lying to Fury for him.
💙/💕 Cassandra Reed 💕/💙
"If there's anything about S.H.I.E.L.D. I miss, it's my S.O."
Guin was nervous to tell Cassandra that she was leaving S.H.I.E.L.D. - but to her surprise, Cassandra supported her decision. She's been there for Guin as she's come to terms with her powers and her identity ever since they fought the Brotherhood. Maybe one day she'll return to S.H.I.E.L.D. and become a full agent, but knowing that Cassandra supports her either way has been a bit of a relief. She's a bit like an older sister to Guin.
👿 Nina van Essenhout 👿
"It's atomic number 67, ladies and gents!"
Sure, Nina did turn out to be semi-useful on the last mission. Does that change the way that Guin views her? If you guessed not at all, then you're correct! Guin still views her as a symbol for all of the women her father slept with, whether Guin herself realizes it or not. Combine that with the fact that Guin finds her to be incredibly patronizing and that she stole classified information from Stark Industries, she's at the top of Guin's least favorite people list. That was one of the benefits of her leaving S.H.I.E.L.D. - she didn't have to deal with Nina anymore.
🎆/💞 Tony Stark 💞/🎆
"As cliché as it is, he was my hero when I was little - even before he put on a suit."
Guin's relationship with her father wasn't always the greatest. She only saw him during the summers until she was 16 years old and dealing with typical adolescent drama. Yet now that she's older, she not only has a better relationship with Tony, but she respects him as well. Sure, he has a hard time remembering she's not a child anymore - and yes, they butt heads quite frequently - but it's all because they're family and they care about one another. They're just both terrible at expressing that sentiment.

💜/♨️ Marygold Isley ♨️/💜
"I used to think of her as a sister...Now I just don't know what to think."
Mary and Guin have always butt heads - they're both stubborn, opinionated, and refuse to compromise to the other's vision. For a brief period after Guin developed her powers, they were close enough to consider one another family. The tension and infighting surrounding OMEN's attack on the mansion changed things between them - and while they are still best friends, their friendship does not have firm footing.
🎆 Ayita Dyrkin 🎆
"She's a wild child - but not in the way most people are."
Ayita is reckless, untamable, and naive to the ways of the world - but she also has amazing inner strength, loyalty, and dedication. Guin respected her ever since Ayita made the tough call at the Brotherhood Lab and the shifter has continued to stick to her principles, even if it means going against the rest of the group. As irritating as that is, it also causes Guin to like the shifter all the more. Not very many people can stand up to their friends.
💙 Allison Andrews 💙
"Let the past die...Kill it if you have to..."
Although some might have anticipated Guin and Allison's friendship to deteriorate thanks to the events of the fight against OMEN and the infighting, Muscles' death (Future Pietro) was incredibly similar to Oshea's death. Both girls have gone through a harrowing struggle, losing someone they cared about in battle, and honestly ought to talk to each other about it. But Guin isn't ready to seek out help from Allison. Not yet.
💛 Carolina Reed 💛
"Sweet Caroline..."
Carolina and Guin are training buddies from time to time, as they have similar power sets. Both of them have killed people and although Guin didn't open up to her about it, Carolina has been a source of comfort for her over it. She's secretly trying to set up Carolina with Lance. She thinks they'll be a far better couple than Carolina and Dean.
💛 Richard Laine 💛
"He's really annoying."
Richard is currently looking into the death of Guin's grandfather, but more often than not, he seems to pop up and pester her for information about who is dating who in the Mansion. He then has this irritating habit of ruffling her hair which Guin hates and makes her want to punch him in the jaw. Of course, she's oblivious to how protective over her Richard is and the fact that he has more or less 'adopted' her.
🎆/💛 Mirembe Adebayo 💛/🎆
"I shouldn't have asked you to do that."
Guin still feels guilty over devising the plan at the OMEN facility that resulted in Mira killing dozens of agents. Mira is her friend and she just used her. Perhaps the mutant from Wakanda doesn't blame her or maybe she does - either way, Guin wants to make things up to Mira one day. She owes her.
💜/💕 Lance Banner 💕/💜
"I'm glad to have my brother back."
Guin and Lance grew up together, practically siblings. They lost contact for a little over a year when they both graduated high school and went off to college, but now that they're both with the X-Men, they've picked up where they left off. Guin feels comfortable confiding in Lance and enjoys working on projects with him, calling him her Lab Husband.
👋 Sara Grey 👋
"Shouldn't her hair be red?"
Guin has yet to properly interact with Sara, beyond in the capacity of the team. She knows that Sara is the niece of the famous Jean Grey, but not much else.
👋 Dean Kesseli 👋
"He's really good at dodging things."
Guin doesn't interact with Dean very much. On occasion, she'll attempt to train him a bit in combat as part of her duties as a member of the team, but he's slow to pick up concepts and a frustrating student in her opinion.
👋 Bethany Bell 👋
"If Beth turned into a gun, would it be called a BB gun?"
Guin doesn't know much about Beth, yet she has noted that the Mistress of Darkness' first and last name begin with the same letter. It reminds her of Wade Wilson's name.
💛 Antoinette McCarthy 💛
"Did you see last week's episode?"
While Guin has become more emotionally closed off, she did end up making a new friend - Annie. Annie's enjoyment of history and storytelling has matched up nicely with Guin's tendency to binge watch TV shows - and some of them are set in the past. Every now and then, they'll discuss Downtown Abbey and the likes.
👋 Neil Spellman 👋
"He reminds me a bit of my friend Peter."
Guin's seen kids like him before - hell, she kind of did the entire 'avoid everyone' routine back at boarding school. It doesn't help things and she hopes that he realizes that. Maybe if she keeps subtly calling him Nico di Angelo he might figure that out.
♨️ Professor X ♨️
"Where was he when we needed him most?"
Guin understands the chain of command, especially that Professor X himself does not fight. Yet when they were at Stark Tower and attempting to sort things out, he was absent and unhelpful. At the very least, he should have stepped up for the students, if not for his X-Men. But they fight in his name. He should have helped them come up with a plan. Guin cannot help but blame his carelessness for Muscles' death.
🎆 Beast 🎆
"Hank's brilliant."
Guin has been working in the lab ever since she moved into the mansion. She needs to keep her hands busy and her mind fixated on a problem, otherwise she's like an ADHD demigod in a Rick Riordan novel. Beast helped her make that happen, even going over her college lab reports with her. Not very many people enjoy having to share their lab space, but Beast never complained. Guin respects him deeply.
💜/💓/💗/💕 Quicksilver 💕/💗/💓/💜
"My other half."
Guin can no longer picture her life without Pietro - and if she ever tries to, it just seems like it'd be a sad and lonely existence. He makes her smile and laugh, and she feels comfortable and safe around him. They even share a mental link together, allowing her to always have him in the back of her head. They're connected in a way she didn't believe was possible beyond the realm of fairytales. She has and would kill for him. He's everything to her.
💞/💓 Iron Man 💓/💞
"People say that I'm just like my father."
Guin and Tony haven't always had the best of relationships. Growing up, he tended to be more into partying than parenting, having the help do those tasks for him. It was only after Tony became Iron Man that he started to put in the effort to raise his daughter. And like most teenagers, she was mad at her father and resented him. It's now that she's in her twenties and doing superhero work of her own that she can truly emphasize with him. She loves her father, her only real blood family.
